Half an hour later, the four of them finally arrived at the entrance of the forbidden area. As soon as they reached the entrance, they saw that the large door to the forbidden area was already open. Sitting on the stone steps at the entrance was a middle-aged man in a gray robe, his eyes tightly shut, appearing to be in deep meditation. 0

Perched on his shoulder was a beautiful bird, larger than an ordinary bird. Strangely, it too had its eyes closed, seemingly not wanting to disturb its master, and was also meditating. 0

The Guardian of the Forbidden Land had spent most of his time in the Entrance Cave, practicing and cultivating, except for eating and sleeping. Therefore, he appeared very young and showed no signs of aging. 0

Xuan Ye, the Guardian of the Forbidden Land, was accustomed to rising at dawn. So, as soon as day broke, he got up, tidied his belongings, and brought the Phoenix to the entrance of the forbidden area to open the large door. Noticing that the Disciples of Ling Mountain had not yet arrived, he sat on the stone steps at the entrance to meditate while waiting for them. 0

From a distance, he sensed several Spirit Mountain Disciples rushing towards him, two of whom were disciples who had visited this place last night. He couldn't help but speculate that the other two must be their master. 0

When the four of them reached the entrance of the forbidden area, Xuan Ye slowly opened his eyes and fixed a sharp gaze on the few Spirit Mountain Disciples before him. 0

As soon as Qing Yuanzi and Jin Mingzi saw Xuan Ye open his eyes, they hurriedly approached him to pay their respects. 0

In unison, they said, "Disciples of Ling Mountain, Qing Yuanzi and Jin Mingzi greet Master Uncle." 0

Xuan Ye casually waved his hand and said lightly, "The Otherworldly Divine Star has descended into this world, and there is no longer any need to guard the Spirit Mountain Forbidden Area. We must continue to fulfill the next task left to us by our predecessors." After a brief pause, he continued, "I will be descending the mountain shortly to search for that Divine Star from the Otherworld. One of you should stay here on Spirit Mountain to manage affairs and promptly inform the Sect Leader—Snow Spirit Elder—that the Otherworldly Divine Star has arrived and that I have gone down to search for it; the other will accompany me down." 0

"Yes, we will obey Master Uncle's orders," Qing Yuanzi and Jin Mingzi quickly replied after hearing Xuan Ye's words. 0

After making some arrangements among themselves, they decided that Qing Yuanzi would accompany Xuan Ye down to search for the Divine Star from the Otherworld while Jin Mingzi would remain on Spirit Mountain to handle daily affairs and notify the Sect Leader. 0

Xuan Ye preferred solitude and did not like crowds; thus he only took Qing Yuanzi down with him. Naturally, the Phoenix would accompany him as well since confirming whether they found someone who was indeed the Divine Star from the Otherworld relied on that Phoenix. 0

The reason he chose to have Qing Yuanzi accompany him down was that he had not descended from the mountain for decades and was unfamiliar with everything below. He wanted Qing Yuanzi to handle those daily matters for him. 0

Otherwise, with his profound martial skills and mysterious Mystical Arts, he wouldn't need anyone by his side. After descending from the mountain, they headed towards Silver City in Silver Moon Kingdom. 0

Luo Bingbing and Shadowless galloped away from the small town, quickly arriving at the center of the next town. They decided to stop for a meal and some rest. 0

They halted in front of the largest restaurant in the town, the Fragrant Pavilion. A young attendant at the entrance rushed over to take their reins as they dismounted, leading their horses to the stable in the backyard. 0

Noticing their fine silk robes, the waiter immediately recognized them as members of a wealthy noble family and courteously invited them to a private room on the second floor. 0

However, upon reaching the second floor, they found that all the private rooms were fully occupied with no available seats. Seeing this, Luo Bingbing frowned slightly but remained silent. 0

The waiter scratched his head, feeling quite apologetic as he addressed Luo Bingbing and Shadowless. "I’m very sorry, but all the private rooms upstairs are full. Would you like to be seated downstairs instead?" 0

Upon hearing this, Shadowless maintained a stoic expression. But Luo Bingbing raised an eyebrow and calmly replied, "Doesn't your restaurant have a third floor? Why can't we sit up there?" 0

The waiter felt compelled to explain after hearing Luo Bingbing's words. "Dear guests, you can indeed sit on the third floor, but our boss has a rule: only those who can correctly respond to a couplet can go up. The meals and tea on the third floor are complimentary." 0

Luo Bingbing then asked lightly, "What is the couplet?" 0

Realizing that this little girl was eager to try her hand at it, the waiter quickly led them to the entrance of the third floor. 0

He pointed to a couplet displayed on the right wall of the entrance and said, "Here it is. If you can come up with a response to this couplet, you may proceed to the third floor for your meal." 0

Luo Bingbing looked at what he indicated and saw that the couplet read: "In early month above, in mid-month middle, on new moon look at full moon." 0

Without hesitation after reading it, she asked the waiter for paper and ink. The waiter hurried off to fetch them, informing the innkeeper about her intention to respond to the couplet. 0

Upon hearing that someone was attempting to match the couplet, the innkeeper rushed over to see for himself. This particular couplet had been posted by his boss for nearly a year without anyone being able to provide a suitable response. The innkeeper was excited at the prospect of someone finally succeeding where many had failed. 0

As he approached, he saw that it was a little girl, only about five or six years old, who wanted to respond to the couplet. The excitement that had just risen in his heart instantly plummeted, as he thought that if even the talented scholars couldn't come up with a response, this little girl certainly wouldn't be able to either. 0

Thus, he decided to watch the show with a sense of amusement. The diners around them, upon hearing that this little girl wanted to respond to the couplet, turned their heads to observe, with some even stepping closer to get a better look. 0

Luo Bingbing paid no attention to the gazes of those around her, nor did she care about their thoughts. After the waiter brought over the Four Treasures of the Study and placed them on the table, she picked up her brush and wrote down the response that came to her mind. 0

Since Luo Bingbing often visited her grandfather's house with her mother when she was young, and her grandfather was a cultured man, she had learned calligraphy under his influence. Her calligraphy wasn't exceptional, but it was decent enough. 0

Everyone's eyes were fixed on Luo Bingbing's hand holding the brush and the blank sheet of paper before her. They watched as she wrote down the response: "May Fifth, September Ninth, Duanwu and Chongyang." 0

The onlookers were astonished to see this little girl indeed come up with a response—not only did she manage it, but her response was even better than the original couplet. They couldn't help but wonder whose child this little girl was and how she could be so impressive and clever! 0

Those who had previously looked down on Luo Bingbing now found themselves in awe after seeing her response. They were completely impressed by her talent. 0

The keeper of the restaurant was also surprised to see that Luo Bingbing not only came up with a response but did so exceptionally well. After all, she was just a little girl of five or six years old, and the original couplet had been created by his own master, who was renowned as a Poet Sage. He couldn't help but think: "Could this little girl truly compare to the famous Poet Sage? Has she already reached such a level at such a young age?" 0

Shadowless had been an assassin and had never engaged in literary matters before; thus, he was completely clueless about this. Although he couldn't respond to couplets himself and didn't understand them, he could tell from the expressions of those around him before and after this little one wrote her response that his master had indeed written something remarkable. Those who had previously dismissed his master were now filled with admiration. 0

He couldn't help but wonder: What kind of person is my young mistress? How does she seem to know everything and understand everything? It seems nothing can stump her. 0

Luo Bingbing didn't care what others thought; after finishing her writing, she slowly lifted her head and looked towards the keeper in the crowd, asking calmly, "Keeper, is this response acceptable?" 0

Upon hearing Luo Bingbing's words, the keeper quickly replied, "Miss, your response is excellent. You may now go directly to the third floor to enjoy complimentary food and lodging provided by our establishment." 0

After hearing the keeper's words, Luo Bingbing nodded slightly and pointed at her written response while addressing the waiter: "Young man, take this away and bring me another sheet of paper like this." She paused for a moment, glanced at the innkeeper in the crowd, then continued: "Since I have solved your hanging riddle for you, in order not to let your restaurant lose credibility due to lack of challenges, I shall reluctantly provide you with a riddle of my own!" 0

Everyone present was filled with anticipation upon hearing that this little girl had just responded to a couplet and was now going to pose a riddle. They all wanted to see what kind of question this five or six-year-old little doll could come up with; even the keeper of the restaurant felt no exception. 0

As soon as Luo Bingbing finished speaking, he quickly responded, "Thank you, Miss!" 0

Soon, the Waiter took the couplet written by Luo Bingbing and presented a new sheet of white paper. Luo Bingbing immediately picked up the brush and wrote: "Qin Se Pi Pa Eight Great Kings," with the phrase "The Kings Above." 0

After finishing, Luo Bingbing looked at the Innkeeper in the crowd and slowly said, "Hang this couplet up!" 0

Upon hearing Luo Bingbing's words, the Innkeeper pondered over the lower line while instructing the Waiter to hang the upper line on the wall. However, after thinking for a long time, he still couldn't come up with a matching lower line. It wasn't just him; no one else present could think of a response to Luo Bingbing's couplet either. 0

But Luo Bingbing didn't care whether they could come up with something or not; she simply headed to the third floor. As she ascended, Shadowless naturally followed her up, and seeing both guests heading upstairs, the Waiter hurriedly went after them to attend to their needs. 0

The crowd around them dispersed once Luo Bingbing left. They had come with a relaxed attitude, eager to watch the spectacle, but now they departed with heavy questions and deep thoughts. They were not only contemplating the lower line of the riddle posed by that Little Girl but also wondering who this seemingly five or six-year-old child belonged to. 0

Yet they all remembered that Little Girl, who had gone from being dismissed at first to earning their respect in the end. What lingered most in their minds was not her appearance but the couplet she had crafted and her impressive literary talent at such a young age. 0

Luo Bingbing had casually created an upper line that was undeniably modern; thus, in this backward ancient setting, no one besides her could come up with a matching lower line. Even the behind-the-scenes owner of the tavern—the Poet Sage—was no exception. 0

With no one able to respond to the lower line, Luo Bingbing's upper line naturally spread among the people. One person told ten, ten told a hundred, and eventually, Luo Bingbing became a mythic Prodigy. Years later, tales of her legend continued to circulate in society, and ultimately, it was Luo Bingbing herself who solved that elusive lower line. 0

Although the Waiter could barely read a few characters, he could see the expressions on the faces of the Innkeeper and those diners. Observing how everyone looked at this seemingly five or six-year-old Little Girl with reverence—seeing so many adults, including scholars and students, unable to match her lower line—he realized just how remarkable and knowledgeable this Little Girl was. He became even more attentive while serving Luo Bingbing. 0

However, Luo Bingbing didn't think much about it. When she saw the Waiter enter, she casually asked, "Young man, what is your tavern's signature dish?" 0

"Sir, our tavern's signature dish is grilled goose," replied the Waiter without hesitation. 0

After hearing his answer, Luo Bingbing raised an eyebrow slightly and calmly asked, "Then what is your tavern's specialty dish?" 0

The waiter quickly responded to Luo Bingbing's question, "Sir, our restaurant's specialty dishes include Spiral Chicken, Ginger Duck, Tianshui Mixed Stew, Wansan Pork Hock, Stir-Fried Pig Blood Balls, Snowflake Lamb, Smoked Bamboo Shoots with Pork, Pickled Pepper Baby Squid, Drunken River Chicken, and Di San Chicken..." 0

"Alright, alright." Luo Bingbing suddenly waved her hand to interrupt the waiter before he could finish and casually ordered a few of the restaurant's specialty dishes, signaling Shadowless to sit down and eat together. 0

After finishing their meal, Luo Bingbing and Shadowless went downstairs to continue their journey. 0

However, when they reached the lobby on the first floor of the restaurant, the innkeeper called out to them. "Ladies and gentlemen, please wait." 0

Upon hearing the innkeeper call out to her and Shadowless, Luo Bingbing thought he was asking for payment! She couldn't help but mutter to herself, "Didn’t you say earlier that if we could come up with a matching couplet we could go to the third floor for free? Why are you asking for money now?" 0

Regardless of her thoughts, she wouldn’t voice them! She turned to Shadowless and nodded in his direction. Receiving Luo Bingbing's glance, Shadowless turned towards the counter to prepare for payment. 0

Meanwhile, after calling out to them, the innkeeper hurried over to Luo Bingbing and Shadowless. Just as Shadowless was about to reach the counter, he encountered the innkeeper. 0

Seeing the innkeeper right in front of him, Shadowless casually took a gold coin from his pouch and tossed it to the innkeeper while coolly saying, "Here you go, for the meal." 0

The innkeeper was quite puzzled when he suddenly received a gold coin tossed by Shadowless. It wasn't until he heard Shadowless's words that he realized there had been a misunderstanding. 0

He smiled and quickly returned the gold coin to Shadowless. Looking at Luo Bingbing ahead of him, he slowly explained, "Sir, you misunderstood. We previously mentioned that as long as you provide a matching couplet, you can go up to the third floor where food and lodging are free. The reason I asked you to stay is to thank this young guest for providing a topic for our establishment. Therefore, we are now giving this young guest a Noble Guest Token for free. Any inn or restaurant with the same Fragrant Pavilion emblem will allow you free food and lodging as long as you present this Noble Guest Token." 0

After speaking, the innkeeper walked up to Luo Bingbing and handed her the Noble Guest Token. 0

After hearing what the innkeeper said, Luo Bingbing lightly nodded but did not say anything further. She accepted the token from the innkeeper's hand and walked out of the restaurant with Shadowless. At this time, the young attendant had already brought their horses out. 0

Luo Bingbing and Shadowless each took hold of the reins from the attendant and swiftly mounted their horses, galloping towards their destination—the Underworld. 0

As the sun set in the west and dusk approached, the sky was filled with colorful clouds. 0

The Little One on the white horse couldn't help but rub his sore backside. He looked up at the sky and realized that they were too far from the mountain, so he frowned slightly and instructed the Red Hare to slow down. 0

Seeing that the Little One had stopped ahead, Shadowless quickly urged his horse to walk at a slower pace. When he reached Luo Bingbing's side, he asked, "Master, why have we stopped?" 0

Upon hearing Shadowless's question, Luo Bingbing glanced at him and slowly replied, "Ying, it's getting late. If we continue at this speed, we won't reach the Underworld until tomorrow night, at least." 0

"Yes, Master," Shadowless quickly responded. 0

After hearing Shadowless's words, Luo Bingbing raised an eyebrow and thought for a moment before saying, "Ying, find a nearby household to leave these two horses with. We can send someone to pick them up later. I will take you to the Underworld." 0

After listening to Luo Bingbing's instructions, Shadowless swiftly searched for a nearby household. Fortunately, there was a small village not far ahead. He gave a farmhouse several dozen taels of silver to take care of the two horses. 0

Once everything was settled, Shadowless quickly returned to Luo Bingbing's side. He had no idea that Luo Bingbing wanted to dismount because he had been riding all day and his backside was sore. If he knew that his seemingly omnipotent master was dismounting for such a reason, he wouldn't know how to feel about it. 0

Seeing that Shadowless had returned, Luo Bingbing casually asked, "Is everything taken care of?" 0

"Yes, Master," Shadowless answered promptly. 0

After hearing Shadowless's response, Luo Bingbing nodded slightly and instructed him to stand beside her. Once Shadowless was in position, she told him to close his eyes. Following her command, Shadowless complied without hesitation. 0

When Luo Bingbing saw that Shadowless had closed his eyes and stood still, she activated her Inner Strength and secretly unleashed her Ability, teleporting them to the outskirts of the Underworld. 0

"Ying, you can open your eyes now." Upon hearing Luo Bingbing's words, Shadowless slowly opened his eyes and looked around. He realized that his master had brought him to the outskirts of the Underworld. Although he knew that this Little One was incredibly powerful and possessed knowledge beyond what ordinary people could comprehend, each time he felt a sense of awe that intensified his desire to become stronger. 0

Luo Bingbing carefully observed their surroundings and said lightly, "Ying, is this the place?" 0

Hastily responding to Luo Bingbing's question, Shadowless replied, "Yes, Master. They are just below that hill ahead." 0

"Well, let's go! Lead the way." 0

"Yes, this way, my lord," Shadowless said, pointing to a mountain path. 0

Luo Bingbing nodded slightly and followed Shadowless down the mountain trail. 0

At this time, the sun had already set, and the moon had yet to rise. The birds in the forest were hurriedly returning home. 0

As Luo Bingbing walked along the mountain path with Shadowless, they passed through dense thickets and over thorny trails until they finally arrived at a waterfall halfway up the mountain. 0

Luo Bingbing carefully observed her surroundings and realized that this was the end of the path, with only the waterfall cascading down three thousand feet before her. 0

However, she did not ask Shadowless any questions, nor did she feel any doubt. She knew that since Shadowless had brought her here, it meant this was the entrance to their camp. Moreover, having watched many ancient martial arts dramas in modern times, she thought to herself, "Haven't I seen pigs run if I haven't eaten pork?" Without further thought, Luo Bingbing quietly activated her Inner Strength and used her Ability to fly toward the waterfall. 0

Seeing that he hadn't even told this Little One where the entrance was and yet she already knew and was heading toward it, Shadowless couldn't help but feel surprised and puzzled. He thought to himself: This Young Mistress is truly remarkable! She hasn't even been told where the entrance is, and she already knows. At the same time, he began to doubt whether the entrance he found was too obvious and not concealed enough. 0

While his thoughts drifted away, he heard Luo Bingbing's clear and youthful voice. "Shadow, what are you standing there for? Hurry up and come over." 0

Upon hearing Luo Bingbing's words, Shadowless looked around and realized that Luo Bingbing was no longer in sight. He understood that she had already passed through the waterfall and reached the cave behind it. He quickly activated his Lightness Skill and flew toward the cave behind the waterfall. 0

Luo Bingbing knew that using her Ability meant that she wouldn't get wet from the water. However, when she saw that Shadowless was also completely dry, she couldn't help but be astonished. She thought: Ancient martial arts are truly amazing! If given a chance, it wouldn't be bad to learn some myself. 0

Although both master and servant were quite surprised internally, they showed no outward signs of it; they appeared very calm. But what was happening in their hearts remained known only to them. 0

As Shadowless calmed his thoughts, he casually asked, "My lord, is this entrance concealed?" 0

After hearing Shadowless's question, Luo Bingbing replied lightly, "It's quite good; most people wouldn't think that the entrance is behind a waterfall." 0

After Luo Bingbing gave him a very affirmative answer, the heavy stone of unease in his heart finally settled safely. However, he couldn't help but think to himself, "It's a good thing you're not one of those ordinary people." 0

Luo Bingbing looked around and saw that the cave led to a narrow tunnel that could only accommodate one person. She then said to Shadowless, "Shadow, we go in from there, right?" While speaking, she pointed towards the small tunnel. 0

Upon hearing Luo Bingbing's words, Shadowless followed her finger and quickly nodded, saying, "Yes, my master, that's where we entered and exited." 0

After listening to Shadowless, Luo Bingbing nodded slightly and said calmly, "Then let's hurry in!" 0

Just as Shadowless was about to let Luo Bingbing follow her into the tunnel, she remembered that the path inside was bumpy and difficult to traverse. She said to Luo Bingbing, "My master, the path inside the tunnel is small and narrow, making it quite hard to walk. How about I carry you in?" 0

When Luo Bingbing heard Shadowless mention that the small tunnel was difficult to navigate, she raised an eyebrow slightly. But when she heard Shadowless say she would carry her in, she quickly nodded in agreement. 0

Thus, Shadowless picked up the Little One and headed towards the small tunnel. However, shortly after they entered the tunnel, the Snow Spirit Fox suddenly popped out of Luo Bingbing's sleeve pocket and swiftly ran diagonally ahead. 0

Seeing the usually well-behaved and quiet Snow Spirit Fox suddenly dart out made Luo Bingbing feel quite puzzled. But when she followed the direction where the Snow Spirit Fox ran, she saw it squaring off against a Spotted Snake as thick as a bowl. 0

At that moment when the Snow Spirit Fox leaped out, Shadowless caught sight of it. Although his night vision wasn't as good as Luo Bingbing's, he could still see clearly that the little fox was indeed the legendary Snow Spirit Fox from Spirit Mountain. Shadowless was quite astonished; he had never seen such a Snow Spirit Fox beside his master before. How did it suddenly appear from her sleeve? 0

Despite having many questions in his mind, he refrained from asking them. He always remembered his duties and knew that if it were something he should know, his master would tell him; otherwise, she wouldn't disclose it. 0

It seemed as if Luo Bingbing sensed Shadowless's many questions and immediately addressed them. She pointed at the Snow Spirit Fox fighting with the Spotted Snake ahead and said, "Shadow, you must know that's the Snow Spirit Fox from Spirit Mountain, right?" 0

Upon hearing Luo Bingbing's words, Shadowless quickly nodded and said, "My master, it's just like the legends describe." 0

Luo Bingbing nodded slightly and then said calmly, "Yes, I found it on my way home after leaving the Assassin Alliance headquarters last time." 0

"Ah!" Even someone as composed as Shadowless couldn't help but exclaim upon hearing Luo Bingbing's words. Anyone who heard what she said would find it hard to remain calm—except for her. But who could compare to her? After all, that little fox was a treasured guardian of Spirit Mountain. 0

It is said that the Snow Spirit Fox possesses a profound Spiritual Connection. The blood of the Snow Spirit Fox can neutralize all poisons, and just one drop can rapidly increase a person's Power by ten years. Therefore, many people in the world wish to capture it, but aside from those on the Sacred Mountain, no one has ever seen it, let alone caught it. 0

Luo Bingbing claimed that she found it on the way, which astonished anyone who heard it! The Snow Spirit Fox, coveted by the World's People, was supposedly picked up by her on the road! It might be hard for others to believe. However, Shadowless knew that this Little One had no reason to lie or deceive herself. Yet he couldn't help but think, "How lucky is the Young Mistress? She casually picked up a Snow Spirit Fox from the road. Why can't I have such good luck?" 0

While Shadowless's thoughts were endlessly wandering, the Snow Spirit Fox and a Spotted Snake were already engaged in a life-and-death struggle. 0

Initially, the Snow Spirit Fox was locked in a stare-down with the Spotted Snake, which was about the size of a bowl, each trying to observe the other's weaknesses and find the best point of attack. After careful observation, the Snow Spirit Fox finally identified the weak spot on the large snake and its optimal attack point. With a target in mind, the Snow Spirit Fox launched a fierce attack against the Spotted Snake. Soon after, the Spotted Snake also found the weak point on the Snow Spirit Fox and initiated its own fierce counterattack. 0

The Snow Spirit Fox directly and swiftly targeted the Spotted Snake's vulnerable spot, while the Spotted Snake quickly coiled around the Snow Spirit Fox, trying to constrict it and suffocate it. 0

Gradually, the body of the Spotted Snake completely covered that of the Snow Spirit Fox. Luo Bingbing could no longer see the Snow Spirit Fox and felt a slight worry. She quietly gathered her Inner Strength and prepared to use her Ability to deal with the Spotted Snake. But before she could act, the Snow Spirit Fox swiftly escaped from the snake's grip and dashed towards Luo Bingbing's location. At that moment, the Spotted Snake's body collapsed to the ground with a loud crash. 0

Seeing that the Snow Spirit Fox had emerged safely, Luo Bingbing quickly retracted her Ability. A slight smile appeared on her lips, reflecting her current joy. 0

As the Snow Spirit Fox rushed towards Luo Bingbing, she caught a strong foul odor emanating from it even from a distance, causing her to frown slightly. When it got closer, she saw that it was holding a green Snake Gallbladder in its mouth. Upon seeing that Snake Gallbladder, Luo Bingbing thought to herself, "So that's why there's such a strong stench." 0

Just as the Snow Spirit Fox reached her side and attempted to jump onto her shoulder, Luo Bingbing called out to stop its next move. "Little one, wait a moment; don't come up yet. First deal with that foul smell before you jump up." 0

The Snow Spirit Fox had intended to leap onto Luo Bingbing's shoulder to show off its achievement but halted abruptly upon hearing her words. It tilted its head slightly back and looked at Luo Bingbing with pitiful eyes while wagging its tail continuously and shaking its little head that held onto the Snake Gallbladder. 0

The Snow Spirit Fox seemed quite aggrieved; it had found a treasure and accomplished something significant but felt unappreciated. Yet deep down, it worried that Luo Bingbing might not realize what it had achieved; hence it kept shaking its little fox head. 0

Seeing the expression and actions of the little fox, Luo Bingbing understood that it felt wronged and wanted to prove its accomplishment for a reward. 0

Luo Bingbing knew that Snake Gallbladders were valuable items, especially from such a large Spotted Snake; its gallbladder was even more precious. Considering that little fox risked its life for this gallbladder, she instructed Shadowless to let her down. 0

"Shadowless, crouch down and let me down." 0

After hearing Luo Bingbing's words, Shadowless slowly crouched down and gently placed her on the ground. 0

As soon as her feet touched the ground, Luo Bingbing walked slowly in front of the little fox, quickly crouched down, and stared intently at it. She said, "Little one, you did well just now. I know you found the treasure; it's a gallbladder." At this point, Luo Bingbing paused slightly before continuing, "But why don't you take a whiff and see if there's a foul smell on you?" 0

Upon hearing Luo Bingbing's words, the Snow Spirit Fox couldn't help but sniff with its cute little nose. After just a moment, it detected the strange odor she mentioned and wrinkled its brow slightly, shaking its head repeatedly to indicate that Luo Bingbing should eat the Snake Gallbladder it was holding in its mouth. 0

Luo Bingbing initially didn't understand its intention until after the Snow Spirit Fox shook its head a few times. However, upon smelling that foul odor, she wanted to turn away and certainly didn't want to eat that Snake Gallbladder! So she thought for a moment and decided that since the Snake Gallbladder was a treasure that the Snow Spirit Fox had fought hard to retrieve, she couldn't waste it. But she absolutely wouldn't eat something so disgusting. She turned to Shadowless and said, "Shadow, this Snake Gallbladder is for you; hurry up and eat it." 0

Shadowless had been quietly observing the interaction between Luo Bingbing and the Snow Spirit Fox. Seeing that the Snow Spirit Fox could understand Luo Bingbing's words surprised him greatly. Although there were rumors that the Snow Spirit Fox on Ling Mountain was very spiritually connected and could understand human speech, he had always found those claims hard to believe and thought they were exaggerated. Thus, he remained in a state of astonishment. 0

It wasn't until he heard Luo Bingbing's clear and youthful voice that he snapped back to reality. Once he regained his composure and heard her words, he quickly moved to her side and said, "Thank you for your reward, my lady." 0

Although Shadowless knew that the Snake Gallbladder from the Spotted Snake was a good item, he didn't find it as disgusting as Luo Bingbing did. Hearing her say she would reward him with it made him feel quite pleased rather than disgusted. 0

After hearing Shadowless's words, Luo Bingbing lightly nodded but did not speak further; she simply signaled with her eyes for him to hurry up and eat the Snake Gallbladder from the Snow Spirit Fox's mouth. 0

Receiving Luo Bingbing's silent cue, Shadowless quickly approached the Snow Spirit Fox, slowly crouched down in front of it, extended his hand towards its mouth, shook his hand slightly, and indicated with his eyes that it could place the Snake Gallbladder into his hand. 0

The Snow Spirit Fox felt somewhat reluctant when it heard that Luo Bingbing wanted to give away the precious Snake Gallbladder it had risked its life to obtain to Shadowless. However, thinking that Shadowless was one of Luo Bingbing's subordinates and not an outsider, it obediently placed the Snake Gallbladder into Shadowless's hand. Originally, it had snatched that Snake Gallbladder from the Spotted Snake to give it to Luo Bingbing, hoping to make her stronger and taller so she could prepare more delicious roasted meat for it. 0

Hehe! Actually, it was quite calculating! It thought about giving a little sweet reward first before reaping many benefits later. It seems this fox is indeed clever enough to include its own master in its calculations. 0
