Three days later, it would be the grand wedding day of Luo Wenhan and Duanmu Ran.
On this day, Silver City was bustling with activity, and the streets were lined with common folk who had come early to catch a glimpse of Luo Wenhan.
As a father, Lo An Lord naturally returned to attend his son's wedding. He and Strategist Gongsun Ming hurried back to the royal residence overnight.
After Luo Wenhan brought the bride's palanquin back, they began the ceremonial rites as instructed by the officiant.
Following the three bows—“First bow to Heaven and Earth, second bow to the ancestors, and third bow as husband and wife”—Duanmu Ran was led into Luo Wenhan's chamber.
Although Luo Bingbing and Dongfang Hao also attended Luo Wenhan's wedding, Luo Bingbing could not tolerate the greasy smell of the dishes, so she remained in her own Piaoyun Pavilion.
Dongfang Hao was naturally with her in Piaoyun Pavilion. However, during the ceremony, Luo Bingbing had Dongfang Hao act as the witness, making it known to everyone that this marriage was bestowed by the current emperor.
When the bride was sent into the bridal chamber, Dongfang Hao allowed everyone to mingle freely while he quickly left the hall to return to Luo Bingbing's side.
Having not seen Lo An Lord for a long time, they were in no rush to return to the palace. They wanted to have a good chat with Lo An Lord after the guests had departed.
As night fell, the guests began to leave one after another.
At this point, Luo Wenhan was already drunk beyond measure. Seeing this, Lo An Lord instructed someone to help him back to his room.

Upon hearing the two voices, both father and son turned around to see two straight figures, one in blue and the other in purple, appearing at the entrance of the hall.
However, both of them found these figures quite unfamiliar.
Yet, after hearing their shouts, they began to speculate about the identities of the two men. Just as they were about to voice their thoughts, the two men at the door spoke up: "Father, Fifth Brother, it's me, Eldest Brother Wenqing!"
"I'm Third Brother Wenyu!"
Upon hearing their words, the father and son joyfully exclaimed, "It's Eldest and Third Brother! You both have come down from the mountain!"
Hearing their simultaneous exclamation, Luo Wenqing and Lawen Yu couldn't help but chuckle.
They then presented the gifts they had prepared earlier to Luo Wenhan, saying, "Fifth Brother, who would have thought that it has been ten years since we last parted? This is just a small token of our affection; please don't think too little of it."
Looking at the small box in his hands, Luo Wenhan immediately replied, "Eldest Brother, Third Brother, what are you talking about? I'm just happy to see you! How could I possibly think little of it?"
As he spoke, Luo Wenhan's body swayed to one side. Seeing this, Luo Wenqing quickly reached out to support him and said, "Fifth Brother, how could you be so drunk?"
"I think we should take Fifth Brother back to his room first," Lawen Yu suggested.
As soon as he finished speaking, Lo An Lord chimed in, "Yes, today is Han'er's big day. You brothers can catch up tomorrow."
Lo An Lord then instructed a nearby guard to help Luo Wenhan back to his room.
Since Luo Wenqing and Lawen Yu had rushed back without stopping for a meal on their way home, it was clear they hadn't eaten yet.
Lo An Lord knew they hadn't dined yet either. After sending Luo Wenhan back to his room, he immediately ordered food and drinks to be prepared.
However, after only a few rounds of drinks with the brothers, Lo An Lord mentioned that he needed to go to Piaoyun Pavilion to find Luo Bingbing and Dongfang Hao. Upon hearing that Luo Bingbing was still there, Luo Wenqing and Lawen Yu quickly began to eat heartily and expressed their desire to visit Piaoyun Pavilion as well. They asked Lo An Lord to wait for them since they were not very familiar with Luo Bingbing anymore.
Thus, Lo An Lord had no choice but to wait for them before heading out together.
As the two brothers devoured their food, the dishes on the table gradually disappeared, and soon they were both full and satisfied.
Seeing that they had eaten their fill, Lord Lo An took them to Piaoyun Pavilion to meet Luo Bingbing and Dongfang Hao.
Upon arriving at Piaoyun Pavilion, they found Luo Bingbing and Dongfang Hao playing chess in the courtyard's pavilion, so they headed straight there.
As soon as they entered the main door of Piaoyun Pavilion, Luo Bingbing and Dongfang Hao were already aware of their presence, having been informed by Luo Wenqing and Lawen Yu that the brothers had come down from the mountain.

Noticing that the brothers had steered clear of sensitive topics, Lord Lo An suggested to Dongfang Hao that they move to Luo Bingbing's study to talk further, lest someone overhear them through the walls.
Thus, the three of them went to Luo Bingbing's study. However, as soon as she returned to her study, she felt a bit drowsy and wanted to sleep.
She then asked Dongfang Hao and Lord Lo An to continue their discussion without her while she went back to rest.
To ensure they could discuss everything clearly and find appropriate solutions, she not only summoned Strategist Gongsun Ming to her study but also informed Dongfang Hao before leaving that she intended to stay overnight at Piaoyun Pavilion and return to the palace in the morning.
Dongfang Hao naturally agreed to her request. Afterward, Luo Bingbing hurried back to her room. Feeling tired, she lay down on her bed as soon as she entered.
However, after lying there for a short while, she felt uncomfortable as if something was pressing against her back.
Quickly getting up from her bed, she discovered that her Love Pearl had fallen onto the bed. She promptly picked it up and placed it back into her sleeve pocket.
Seeing the Spirit Orbs, she couldn't help but think of the Snow Spirit Elder, and her mood began to sink without her realizing it. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of a wooden board at the corner of the bed.
She knew that beneath the board was a hidden compartment where she had previously stored the seven Spirit Orbs she had found. She stepped forward slowly, opened the compartment, and after glancing at the seven Spirit Orbs, she reached out to touch the one at the front.
Just for a moment, she closed the lid back on the Spirit Orbs and returned the hidden compartment to its original position, as if nothing had happened.
Then, she went back to bed and continued to sleep.
However, unbeknownst to her, at the instant she closed the lid, the Spirit Orbs inside the compartment had all been slightly jostled due to her earlier touch, instantly aligning themselves in a straight line.
Immediately, the seven Spirit Orbs began to heat up, their faint white light gradually coalescing into glowing spheres. But because their radiance was too weak, Luo Bingbing remained completely unaware.
An hour later, Dongfang Hao arrived at Luo Bingbing's room. Seeing that the Little One was already asleep, he gently kissed her forehead.
Then he slowly lay down beside her, holding her in his arms as they both drifted into sweet dreams.
Yet they were unaware that their peaceful life was about to undergo earth-shattering changes because of those seven Spirit Orbs.

Gradually, more and more light gathered until it finally formed a disc.
When the last glimmer settled onto the disc, Luo Bingbing and Dongfang Hao suddenly vanished from their bed. Subsequently, the seven Spirit Orbs inexplicably flew towards the edge of the disc.
They aligned themselves in a straight line and disappeared along with the disc.
As the light from those Spirit Orbs coalesced into a circular shape, a Large Disc within the modern Yi Family's forbidden area began to rotate. As soon as it moved, it emitted a crackling sound that instantly awakened Yingqi, the current head of the Yi Family—who was also Ivyah's biological father.
Upon seeing that the disc in the forbidden area had started to turn, he exclaimed in delight: "It's them; they are coming back."

She then used the landline in her bedroom to call Luo Tianyou's mobile phone.
Meanwhile, Luo Tianyou was evading pursuers and had no time to check who was calling. When the phone rang, he assumed it was one of his subordinates calling and directly instructed them to come to his location at the abandoned warehouse to rescue him.
Hearing the sound of gunfire, Luo Bingbing knew that his father was in danger. He immediately teleported with Dongfang Hao to Luo Tianyou's side.
