The maidservant gently patted Liu Susu's back to help her calm down while mumbling in agreement. Liu Susu wasn't really seeking anyone's opinion; she just wanted to vent her feelings, even if it was merely talking to herself.
At that moment, if she were to step forward and strike up a conversation, who knew if she would be met with scolding or worse?
Liu Susu heard no response and didn't care; she continued, "What’s the difference between the past and now? I am still me, and Brother Gu Bei is still Brother Gu Bei."
Her voice gradually grew heavier, filled with resentment. "What has changed is that there is now an unnecessary woman!"

Liu Susu felt very satisfied with Yan Boss's understanding. She wanted someone like him—someone who would work for her as long as she paid.
"Yan Boss is truly straightforward; I admire people like you," Liu Susu said with a hint of malice in her eyes. "I heard that your shop was taken from you. Have you managed to get it back?"
This time, Liu Susu decided to exploit the situation regarding the shop. She intended to use this matter to tarnish Ye Xiaohan's reputation, making sure everyone in the capital knew that Ye Xiaohan was nothing but a bully!

When Boss Yan heard Liu Susu mention the shop, he was taken aback, unsure of her intentions.
