The young woman in a light yellow dress gracefully took over the conversation, extending her slender, fair hand for a handshake. Seeing her apologize, Qin Huai cast a cold glance at Huo Suixin but said nothing more. He merely nodded before turning back to his work.

He pointed at several important areas on the Light Screen beside him, indicating to Director Cai to pay attention to those data sets, then turned to look at Huo Suixin with raised eyebrows, a sharp glint in his eyes. "Who said she came to Area A?"
The flat tone of his words made Huo Suixin's heart skip a beat. What did that mean...
"Oh~ Just asking casually. With your twenty-four seasons' wife controlling you so tightly, I thought you were always glued to her~" His teasing tone felt natural and friendly.
As soon as he finished speaking, someone in the crowd who had been restless once again restrained themselves and lowered their head in confusion.

Boss Sheng watched as the man in black, who hadn’t even spared him a glance, walked away. He turned back and wiped his sweat, saying to Director Cai, "Old Cai, where did you find this guy? He’s quite intimidating and skilled. Do you think we could bring him into our company?"
