"What did she say?" Chen Xiaode asked inadvertently, curious about what kind of storm a little girl could stir up.
“She... she said she didn’t commit suicide by hanging; she just wanted to see Yan'er’s end...” Huang’s voice was filled with panic, fear, and endless hatred. “She said we chose this path for her, that it was impossible to gain anything from her, and that she wanted to push Yan'er onto the same road she took!”
Hearing her coldly utter those words back then had terrified her to the core.
