Hanno walked up to the Porcelain Jar and gently tapped its bottom. A vivid scene from another world appeared before her. She saw Elder Brother Li sitting cross-legged beside the Porcelain Jar, eyes closed in meditation. A smaller Porcelain Jar flew out from his dantian, resonating with the light of the Porcelain Jar in front of him, merging into one. Hanno looked at the Porcelain Jar before her, which also emitted a soft, multicolored glow. "Nono!" She heard a familiar voice softly calling her name right next to her ear, just like in every world before. Then she was tightly embraced by someone.
Hanno did not resist; she wrapped her arms around that person's waist just as tightly as they held her. They both seemed to want to merge into each other's bodies and blood.
After a long while, they finally released each other. However, Hanno did not leave Elder Brother Li's embrace; she leaned softly against him. Elder Brother Li sat on the bed, holding his beloved as they talked.
"I didn't expect my Porcelain Jar to upgrade here while I couldn't go to your side; instead, you came to me," Elder Brother Li said.
Hanno rested against his chest, playing with his long hair that fell over her face. "Next time my side upgrades, you should be able to come over."
Elder Brother Li nodded. "That would be good; you can keep me company here. It would be inconvenient for me to go to your side since the emperor wouldn't allow me to be away for too long."
Hanno pouted. "By then, you can just say that you've caught the eye of an immortal and are going to become their consort."
Elder Brother Li laughed. "That's a good reason."
"By the way, should I call you Nono or Senior Sister now?" Elder Brother Li teased as he asked.
Hearing Elder Brother Li's teasing, Hanno's face turned bright red, and he clenched his fists, punching Elder Brother Li lightly. "Stop laughing! It's not like I have no memory. This Porcelain Jar really knows how to mess with people, letting you keep your memories while I lose mine."
Elder Brother Li quickly stifled his laughter, but the smile at the corner of his mouth wouldn't fade. "It's okay. Even if we both lost our memories, we could still find each other and fall in love again. Besides, it's only one of us who has lost their memory."
Hanno nodded. "I just wonder who will lose their memory in the next world. I hope it's not me."
Elder Brother Li asked, "Do you want it to be me?"
Hanno laughed. "Wouldn't that be great? I could pursue you all over again!"
Elder Brother Li chuckled as well. "Good! I look forward to your pursuit."
The two of them met through the Porcelain Jar and, despite being together after what felt like a long separation, there were no endless conversations. After exchanging a few words, they fell silent, leaning against each other and quietly savoring each other's warmth and breath. The warmth and deep affection flowed silently between them. As the saying goes, sometimes a heart that understands is worth more than a thousand words.
They stayed like that throughout the night, and it wasn't until the servants of the General's residence knocked on the door, thinking their master was ill, that they finally parted ways.
"Prepare a room for me; I'll go home and tell my parents before coming back to be with you," Hanno instructed his husband before leaving.
Elder Brother Li nodded eagerly. "I've already prepared your room; it's ready for your arrival at any time."
Hanno smiled and rewarded Elder Brother Li with a quick kiss before swiftly diving into the time portal.
Back in the modern era, Hanno immediately began packing clothes. These weren't modern outfits but ancient garments that she had asked Li Zhoule to make after learning about Li Wei Feng's life in ancient times. She had long been prepared for her trip to the past. While she was packing, her phone rang; it was Zhu Wenrui calling.
"Hanno, the premiere of Mystical Hero is coming up. Do you want to attend?"
"I won't be attending the premiere, but I'll go to the cinema to support the box office and appreciate the quality of the film," Hanno replied.
"Quality assurance is top-notch!" Zhu Wenrui said confidently. "Chui Yang, Chang Miao, and I watched it in advance, and it was fantastic. Especially the videos you inserted into the movie; those grand scenes were truly magnificent, making one feel invigorated."
Hanno chuckled, "From what you're saying, this movie should definitely not lose money!"
Zhu Wenrui replied, "Absolutely won't lose money; it's just a matter of how much profit we make."
Hanno asked, "Can you send me a copy of the finished film?"
Zhu Wenrui responded, "What's up, Boss? Don't you want to support the box office?"
Hanno clarified, "I will definitely support the box office. The video is for a friend of mine; he's very busy and doesn't have time to go to the theater."
"It won't take too long to get into theaters," Zhu Wenrui muttered but agreed, "I'll send it to you shortly."
"Thanks a lot," Hanno said before hanging up. He then took the wild game that Elder Brother Li had sent back and put it into a plastic bag before hailing a cab to head to the village.
Upon entering the yard, Hanno saw Han Dad and Mom Han each carrying a straw mat and sitting cross-legged under the large tree in the yard, practicing Wuxiang Gong. Hanno was surprised to see that his parents had already cultivated internal energy. He could guarantee that their rapid progress was somehow related to her crossing over into the cultivation world.
Noticing someone had entered, the two elders stopped their practice. Since their internal energy was still limited, they could easily withdraw it.
"Nono, you're back? What did you buy?" Mom Han asked with a bright smile as she stood up.
"Mom and Dad, congratulations on cultivating internal energy!" Hanno said with a grin. "I brought back some wild game to celebrate."
"How did you know we cultivated internal energy?" Han Dad asked in confusion.
Hanno pointed at his own eyes and replied, "Dad, I have eyes."
"Anyone with eyes can see it all over the world, except for you. No one has noticed that your mother and I have cultivated Inner Power," said Han Dad.
Hanno giggled, "Dad, can you really see everyone on Earth?"
Han Dad frowned and glared at Hanno, who quickly backtracked, "It's because my realm is higher than yours that I noticed."
Satisfied with the answer, Han Dad's expression brightened instantly. "I'm going to play chess. Call me when it's time to eat."
He leisurely walked out the door while Hanno stuck her tongue out behind him.
Mom Han had already taken the bag from Hanno's hands and was pulling out its contents one by one. Aside from the chicken and rabbit, she didn't recognize any of the other meats.
"What kind of meat is this?"
Hanno walked over and introduced each item to Mom Han. "This piece is Venison; this is Muntjac Meat, which comes from a deer species; this is also Muntjac; this is Bamboo Rat..."
Mom Han's eyes widened. "Daughter, you weren't tricked, were you? Where could you possibly find so much authentic game meat for sale? It can't be artificially fabricated, right? Wouldn't eating it be bad for your health?"
"Mom, don't worry. These are absolutely authentic game meats; eating them will only be beneficial for your health—there's no downside," Hanno assured, patting her chest.
"You’re being so mysterious, but fine, I’ll trust you." How could Mom Han and Han Dad not notice their daughter's odd behavior? Mom Han patted Hanno's hand. "If we didn't trust you, your dad and I would have asked long ago."
Hanno chuckled mischievously. "Mom, we're having a wild game hot pot tonight!"
"Are you doing it?"
"Of course, I'm doing it!"
Mom Han stuffed a plastic bag into Hanno's hands. "Salt the remaining meat and hang it up to keep for later."
Hanno saluted. "Yes, ma'am."
While eating hot pot, Hanno talked to Han Dad and Mom Han about the movie. "I'll book a screening and invite everyone in the village to watch."
Mom Han nodded. "That's a good idea. My daughter, will we be able to see the actors when we go?"
"Definitely not, it's not a premiere," Hanno replied. "But if you want to meet them, I can have Zhu Wenrui take you to the company. Recently, Shen Chuiyang and Zhu Wenrui registered an entertainment company, and several actors from this movie have joined our newly established company."
Mom Han waved her hand dismissively. "Forget it, I just wanted to see them casually. Since they're not around, there's no point."
Because of the movie, Hanno didn't rush to the ancient times to accompany Elder Brother Li. Instead, he waited until after the film was released before asking Han Dad and Mom Han to go on a trip for a while.
