Hanno and Elder Brother Li were chatting with Mao Dingdang at Frgebar when Ma Ling had already taken Wang Zhenzhen and others on vacation to England—specifically to retrieve someone who had caused her tears. Ma Ling had abducted Wang Zhenzhen for the sake of Si Tu Fen Ren, hoping he would assist her. Kuang You had not given up on pursuing Ma Ling and had stubbornly followed her. Sensing that his grandson might be in danger, Kuang Guohua secretly traveled to England. Hiding in the shadows, Kuang Guohua was shocked to see that Si Tu Fen Ren looked exactly like Yamamoto Kazuo, especially when he noticed that his grandson was friends with Si Tu Fen Ren. However, Kuang Guohua remained relatively calm, knowing that Si Tu Fen Ren was not Yamamoto Kazuo; he merely hesitated for a moment before accepting Si Tu Fen Ren as a junior. 0

In England, Ma Ling and her group encountered Mr. Riley, whose tragic fate had resulted in both him and his wife being dead. Kuang You also perished, but aside from Kuang Guohua, no one knew that Kuang You had died far from home. The lookalike Kuang Guohua was mistaken for Kuang You and returned to Hong Kong with Ma Ling and the others. After everything settled down, Jiang Chen also returned to Hong Kong with them. Upon arriving back in Hong Kong, he received news that Mao Dingdang was looking for him. 0

Jiang Chen was very pleased; he had feelings for Mao Dingdang, and aside from Nüwa, she was his favorite woman. When Mao Dingdang rarely took the initiative to contact him, he immediately ran to Frgebar in excitement. There, he saw two powerful individuals who made him feel apprehensive. 0

“Ding Dong, you didn’t call me here just to have these two gentlemen take me out, did you?” Jiang Chen asked casually with a smile, though every cell in his body was on high alert. 0

Hanno chuckled lightly. “Mr. Jiang Chen, there’s no need to be so wary of us; we mean you no harm. In fact, we’re here to ask for your help.” 0

Jiang Chen replied, “With your impressive abilities, what could you possibly need my help with?” 0

Hanno said, “While we may be formidable, we can’t save lives. To keep someone who should be dead alive, only you, Zombie Ancestor, can do it.” 0

Jiang Chen was surprised. “Aren’t you cultivators supposed to be against zombies? Why are you asking me to turn someone into a Zombie?” 0

Hanno explained, “Si Tu Fen Ren is destined to become a Zombie.” 0

“Si Tu Fen Ren? So it’s him!” Jiang Chen realized. “Indeed, he is fated to become a Zombie; you don’t need to find me—I will make sure he changes.” 0

Hanno continued, “We’re seeking you out because we hope you can help another person become a Zombie.” 0

“Who?” Jiang Chen asked. 0

Hanno replied, “Wang Zhenzhen. She and Si Tu Fen Ren are destined lovers; I hope they can find happiness in this life together instead of one living forever while the other dies young.” 0

“So it’s about fulfilling a pair of lovers,” Jiang Chen smiled. “Alright, I agree to help you. However, I’m still curious—aren’t cultivators always dedicated to hunting Zombies? Why are you so peacefully asking for my help and even considering turning your friends or family into Zombies?” 0

Hanno said, “That brings us to our second purpose for finding you. Jiang Chen, do you know your origins?” 0

"My origin? I was born and have existed in this world long before humanity appeared. That is my origin." 0

Hanno chuckled, "Actually, you probably don't know your own origin either! Let me ask you this: since you existed before humans, your memories and knowledge should be quite rich, right? Why does it seem like you were completely blank before meeting Ding Dong, as if you were just starting to learn? Did you really just exist in a void for thousands or even tens of thousands of years?" 0

Jiang Chen's expression darkened. This was a question he had never considered before, and now that Hanno brought it up, he realized the gravity of his situation. 0

"What exactly do you want?" Jiang Chen asked with narrowed eyes. 0

Hanno inquired, "Have you ever heard of Pangu?" 0

Jiang Chen replied, "In mythology, Pangu opened up the earth." 0

Hanno continued, "Don't you find that name familiar?" 0

Jiang Chen thought for a moment and admitted, "It does sound somewhat familiar. What? Is Pangu related to me?" 0

Hanno explained, "Pangu is not just one person; it's a clan. They are the remnants of an ancient civilization—immortal and ageless. They appear much like zombies, but the only difference is that they do not drink blood..." 0

Upon hearing this, Jiang Chen's expression grew serious. He knew Hanno wouldn't make baseless claims; the Pangu Clan likely had some connection to him. 0

"The Pangu Clan resides in the Pangu Sacred Land and the Eternal Kingdom, but Earth is their homeland. They did not wish for Earth to become desolate after their departure, so they decided to recreate humanity..." 0

Jiang Chen furrowed his brow. The Pangu Clan created humanity? What about Nuwa? What role did she play in all of this? 0

Hanno continued, "The Pangu people created a so-called goddess and endowed her with power to take on the responsibility of creating humanity. I don't need to tell you her name; you should already know it." 0

Jiang Chen and Mao Dingdang fell silent, still processing the revelation that Nuwa was created by the Pangu Clan. 0

Hanno continued to drop another bombshell, regardless of their reactions: "The Pangu Clan fears that Nuwa might have a problem with her mind, potentially leading to the destruction of humanity and Earth, which is their homeland. They have secretly left many contingencies and even sent a clan member to monitor Nuwa. If she shows any intention of annihilation, that clan member is to stop her, even to the point of killing her..." 0

Hanno's gaze fell on Jiang Chen's face. "It seems that clan member has forgotten his identity, his origins, and his responsibilities, claiming instead that he has fallen in love with Nuwa... Jiang Chen, I'm curious about how you became this way. The Pangu Clan is quite capable; they are not naive blank slates. Their sense of responsibility is strong; they wouldn't abandon their duties simply because they fell in love with their target. So I must ask, what caused you to become like this? What made you lose all your memories except for those of being with Nuwa? You're clever enough not to overlook the oddities in this situation, but why have you ignored this question? Who has been guiding you? I think you should know best." 0

"..." 0

A long silence ensued until suddenly, Jiang Chen's aura surged. The pressure from the Zombie Ancestor enveloped the entire bar. Big Mi was the first to succumb and faint, while Mao Dingdang struggled to hold on, her face pale and blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. Only Hanno and Elder Brother Li remained calm, unfazed by Jiang Chen's overwhelming presence. 0

Realizing he could do nothing against Hanno and Elder Brother Li, Jiang Chen shot them a fierce glare before transforming into a gust of wind and abruptly disappearing from the bar. 0

Mao Dingdang let out a sigh of relief and hoarsely asked, "Aunt Yao, is what you said true?" 0

Hanno took a sip from the cocktail Big Mi had prepared earlier and replied, "Of course it's true." 0

Upon hearing this, Mao Dingdang's expression turned strange—half crying, half laughing. After a moment, she said, "If that's the case, then Jiang Chen is not the Zombie King but a deity. What does that make our Ma Family? All these years we've been fixated on killing the Zombie King Jiang Chen as our responsibility—what does that mean?" 0

Hanno looked at the girl who had fallen in love with her enemy with sympathy and sighed. "The Ma Family is actually a pawn manipulated by fate. There are more than just Nuwa seeking to bring about destruction; there are higher beings with similar intentions. The Pangu Clan exists to prevent such annihilation. To oppose them, those higher beings created the Demon Dragon tribe to give you the power to kill the Pangu Clan while secretly orchestrating events so that the Ma Family and Jiang Chen would become mortal enemies." 0

Mao Dingdang laughed bitterly. "So we were merely pawns for those higher beings. The tragedies of our Ma Family were all arranged by others." 0

Hanno moved beside Mao Dingdang and silently comforted her with an embrace. True to her lineage as one of the most outstanding women of the Ma Family, Mao Dingdang quickly regained her composure despite initially struggling with the harsh truth. She accepted reality and pointed out several unclear aspects to inquire further from Hanno. 0

"If Jiang Chen is indeed a deity, why does he need to consume human blood? Isn't that akin to being a monster?" 0

Hanno responded, "The Pangu Clan doesn't actually consume human blood; however, something has happened with Jiang Chen. Although he can choose whether or not to drink blood himself, his descendants must derive energy from it. I suspect this condition and Jiang Chen's amnesia are likely related to Nuwa." 0

Mao Dingdang was quick-witted and immediately grasped Hanno's implication: "Nuwa doesn't want another enemy watching her closely, so she must have done something to make Jiang Chen forget his identity as part of the Pangu Clan, turning him into a blank slate. Then she could approach him under the guise of concern and win him over?" 0

Hanno nodded, "That's what I think, but the specifics depend on Jiang Chen figuring it out for himself." 0

Mao Dingdang then asked, "Who is that high-level being?" 0

Hanno replied, "Right now, you can't connect the dots to him, so it's better not to know. Otherwise, if he senses your awareness, it could put you in danger." 0

Mao Dingdang continued, "Is the family rule that Ma Family women cannot shed tears—otherwise they lose their powers—set by that being?" 0

Hanno said, "This rule was established by the earliest Ancestor, Ma Ling'er. She set this family rule after being betrayed by her lover right before her death." 0

Mao Dingdang's mouth twitched, "This Ancestor really has cursed her descendants. How can this curse be lifted?" 0

Hanno explained, "The key lies with Ma Ling. She is the reincarnation of Ma Ling'er. Once she falls in love with Kuang You and regains her memories from her past life, the curse can be lifted." 0

Mao Dingdang asked, "Kuang You isn't the reincarnation of Ma Ling'er's lover, is he?" 0

Hanno smiled, "That's correct." 0

Mao Dingdang wiped her face and said, "One last question. Aunt Yao, how do you know so many secrets? Are you also a reincarnation of some powerful being?" 0

Hanno smiled slightly and replied, "I won't tell you." 0

Could she have learned it from watching television? Of course not. So it was better to maintain an air of mystery. 0
