As two massive mechs appeared in outer space, they not only startled the aliens besieging Earth but also caught the attention of high-ranking officials across the globe. These leaders had been closely monitoring the aliens' movements; although their technology was inferior to that of the extraterrestrials, they were still capable of observing the scenes unfolding in outer space.
"What are those two robots?" the President of the United States exclaimed in surprise. The world leaders had been engaged in a video conference discussing whether to submit to the aliens.
"Those aren't robots; they're mechs—alien mechs designed to combat our Earth’s elite," the British Prime Minister corrected the President, worry etched on his face. "These two mechs are clearly extraordinary, far more advanced than the ones previously used against our top fighters. Does this mean the aliens have decided to destroy Earth and are no longer interested in negotiations?"
The Chinese Leader interjected, "Don't be so pessimistic. Perhaps they just want to showcase their strength to better intimidate us."
Suddenly, the President of Russia shouted, "They're fighting! It's happening!"
"What? Who's fighting whom?" asked the leader from Maple Leaf Nation.
The Russian President pointed at the screen showing outer space. "Those two mechs are battling the aliens."
"What?" The world leaders stopped their discussions and focused intently on the images from outer space.
Rather than a battle, it was more accurate to say that the two mechs were ruthlessly overpowering the alien mechs and starships. The aliens had previously appeared impressive and powerful before humanity, easily injuring cultivators and forcing them off the battlefield. Yet now, facing these two mechs, they resembled preschoolers against seasoned special forces veterans—completely unable to retaliate and merely being slaughtered.
"Wow, incredible!" The President of the United States exclaimed as he watched a red mech sweep its sword horizontally, slicing through ten alien mechs effortlessly; meanwhile, a blue mech emitted a wave of energy that obliterated an alien starship.
All the high-ranking officials were stunned, their blood boiling with excitement as they clenched their fists in support of the two mechs. Unlike the more reserved Chinese Leader, leaders from Western nations, including the President of the United States and the Russian President, shouted encouragement for the mechs.
"I wonder which civilization these two mechs belong to; I hope they are here to help Earth," pondered the Chinese Leader more thoughtfully.
On Earth, there was jubilation, but for the aliens, it was a different story. The Supreme Commander of the aliens watched helplessly as their mechs and starships were continuously destroyed on the battlefield. Unable to contain his frustration, he cursed under his breath: "Where did these two mechs come from? Isn't Earth supposed to be a remote planet that even the Interstellar Alliance is unaware of? How did they suddenly enlist help from an advanced civilization?"
The officer speculated, "Maybe they were just passing by? Perhaps they also want to occupy Earth, this resource-rich planet?"
The Supreme Commander gritted his teeth. "They must have their eyes on Earth for its resources."
"What should we do?" the officer asked.
"What else can we do? Wait for them to wipe us out? Retreat, we need to retreat," the Supreme Commander ordered. The aliens left in a hurry, and due to the misunderstanding between the Supreme Commander and the officer, their civilization believed that Earth was coveted by a more advanced civilization, causing them to refrain from further attempts at seizing it, granting Earth a temporary peace.
"We've won! We've won!" Upon seeing the aliens retreat, leaders from various countries erupted in cheers. The President of Russia poured himself a glass of his prized vodka and declared, "Come on, let's raise a toast to celebrate our victory!"
Other leaders quickly brought out their own treasured drinks: whiskey, brandy, Hennessy, champagne, Remy Martin, Moutai...
Everyone raised their glasses together and toasted to the aliens' retreat.
Then, the Chinese Leader expressed his concern: What about those two imposing mechs that suddenly appeared? Were they another group of aliens eyeing Earth?
A hush fell over the leaders.
Suddenly, the screen in front of them forcibly changed its display. No longer showing the various leaders, a young man appeared on screen. He looked visibly nervous, especially when he saw the Chinese Leader; he instinctively saluted. "Greetings!"
The Chinese Leader was taken aback but felt a flicker of joy. "Hello, Comrade. Are you one of the two who piloted the mechs to defeat the aliens?"
The young man shook his head vigorously. "No, it was my friend."
"What’s your name? Is your friend an alien?" the President of the United States interjected eagerly.
"My name is Zhu Wenrui, and I am from S Province, Huaguo. I belong to the Special Department," Zhu Wenrui replied. "My friends are not aliens; they are Cultivators."
"Cultivators?" After the previous battle between the Huaxia Cultivators and aliens to protect Earth, leaders from various countries were aware of this powerful group. However, no matter how strong they were individually, they could not compete with alien technological weapons!
"Are you joking? Those are two mechas! How could Cultivators possibly have mechas?" the President of Stick Nation exclaimed.
Zhu Wenrui glanced at the President of Stick Nation. "My two friends are different from other Cultivators; they are already Sages."
"Sages?" The leaders were puzzled, eagerly waiting for the Chinese Leader to clarify.
The Chinese Leader did not disappoint and explained, "Sages are the most powerful and supreme beings in the Huaxia cultivation system. A Sage endures through countless tribulations and remains unscathed, untouched by causality. They exist alongside the Dao and coexist with the Great Dao. With a single thought, they can perceive the past, present, and future of any person, event, or object, effortlessly annihilating countless universes or recreating the Primeval Era."
The leaders stared blankly. "We don't understand!"
"..." The Chinese Leader changed his approach and simply stated, "Sages are incredibly powerful. The weakest Sage can easily destroy a planet, while the strongest Sage can even surpass the cosmic explosion in a single strike, approaching an existence close to infinity. They can create worlds as easily as they can destroy them."
"Oh my God!" the President of the United States exclaimed. "Is that what God is?"
The Chinese Leader replied, "...You aren't entirely wrong in thinking that."
"Oh God! Oh God!" The chorus of voices calling out to God left Zhu Wenrui and the Chinese Leader speechless.
Clearing his throat, the Chinese Leader asked, "Zhu Wenrui Comrade, are your friends really Sages?"
Zhu Wenrui answered seriously, "Yes, not just those two; they have another friend who is also a Sage."
“……” The Chinese Leader felt a mix of emotions swirling within him, reminiscent of a past experience in the realm of cultivation that had reshaped his worldview.
“Rumor has it that the Sage can traverse time and space, moving between various worlds. Could these two mechas be something they acquired from the future?”
“Yes,” Zhu Wenrui nodded. This was the explanation given to him by Hanno and Elder Brother Li, who concealed the existence and function of the Eastern Emperor Bell. It wasn't a matter of distrust towards Zhu Wenrui, but rather a precaution against others. Although the two had become immensely powerful, treasures could easily sway hearts.
“Can I speak with them?”
“Sorry,” Zhu Wenrui replied. “If they wanted to come out, they wouldn’t need me as an intermediary to contact you.”
The Chinese Leader sighed regretfully but did not press further; it was normal for high-level beings to avoid unnecessary contact with mortals.
“Then could I ask them for another favor?”
“Please go ahead.”
“Could you ask the two high-level beings to traverse time and space once more to acquire a batch of powerful mechas like the two we just saw? With such formidable armaments, our Earth would no longer fear extraterrestrial civilizations.”
Zhu Wenrui smiled. “No need to purchase; my friends have several mechas they are willing to give us for free, along with blueprints for Starships and mecha construction.”
The Chinese Leader was overjoyed. “Really?”
Leaders from other countries ceased expressing their astonishment, all eyes fixed intently on Zhu Wenrui.
Suddenly feeling immense pressure, Zhu Wenrui still nodded in affirmation. “Yes. However, achieving the same level of power as my friends’ mechas will not be possible.”
"Why?" a person from the Mudong Kingdom asked, dissatisfied.
Zhu Wenrui snorted, "Because the more powerful the mecha, the higher the physical requirements for the mecha pilots. Both physical fitness and mental strength are essential. To operate my friend's two mechas, one would need a body and mind as strong as a deity!"
Everyone gasped in shock.
"What kind of physical fitness and mental strength do the mechas provided by those two masters require?" the Chinese Leader asked with concern.
"You don't need to worry," Zhu Wenrui said, his tone immediately becoming friendly and respectful upon meeting the Chinese Leader's gaze. "The mechas provided by my two friends are basic models, designed for manual operation. They don't require mental strength, and the physical requirements aren't particularly high. Any soldier trained in internal energy from Huaxia can operate them."
"Basic mechas?" the President of Maple Leaf Nation said anxiously. "Can basic mechas really defeat alien mechas?"
Zhu Wenrui replied, "Even basic mechas are from a Tenth-Level Civilization, which means they are more powerful than those from a Fourth-Level Civilization."
"Tenth-Level Civilization?" everyone exclaimed in unison, their faces lighting up with joy. With technology from a Tenth-Level Civilization, Earth would no longer have to fear invasions from other civilizations; instead, it could advance and catch up with them. No more lagging behind and getting beaten down.
Zhu Wenrui arranged a pickup location with the leaders, and once the video call ended, the leaders immediately dispatched people to Huaxia to collect their mechas, fearing that if they delayed, they might miss out on obtaining them—since there were only a limited number of mechas available. Aside from reserving ten for Huaxia, each country could only receive two mechas on a first-come, first-served basis. However, each country would receive a copy of the blueprints.
"Are those two masters really not here?" The Chinese Leader personally went to Feng Yi Mountain's valley since it was within his own country, but unfortunately, he still did not see the masters Zhu Wenrui mentioned; only Zhu Wenrui was waiting alone in the valley.
