Chapter 110: Change
"That's pretty much it. So now I have become the Vice President of Baroque Works again," Nico Robin said slowly.
"The Black Peach Pirates attacked Baroque Works?"
Xiaqiu lay on the sandy shore, looking somewhat surprised.
Aren't the Black Peach Pirates Ace's pirate crew?
How did they end up in this sea lane and clash with Baroque Works?
"So my main job now is to help Baroque Works grow," Nico Robin continued, smiling as she stood there.
Curious, Xiaqiu wrote a few words asking, "Black Peach Pirates, tell me more about them."
"Sure, I just got some information from Crocodile."
After reading the notes, Nico Robin replied slowly, "The captain of the Black Peach Pirates is named Ace, a user of the Flame Fruit. He is incredibly strong, having defeated over a dozen renowned pirate crews, destroyed at least eight naval battleships, and even bested Vice Admiral Dalmesia of the Naval Headquarters. He fought Jinbei of the Seven Warlords of the Sea to a standstill and was invited to join the Seven Warlords but declined. Later, he challenged Whitebeard but failed and became the Second Division Captain of Whitebeard's Pirate Crew. His current bounty is three hundred fifty million."
"But why...?"
Xiaqiu knew about his invitation to become one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, his battle with Jinbei, and his challenge against Whitebeard. Why then did he clash with Baroque Works? Wasn't he also traveling this route?
"Besides the captain, there are several other members of the Black Peach Pirates who have bounties."
Nico Robin continued, "The second highest bounty belongs to Giant Arm Brant, who had a bounty of one hundred twenty million during his time with the Black Peach Pirates. The turtle was about fifteen meters long and four or five meters high, floating on the water's surface but appearing somewhat fearful.

Nico Robin patted Bingqi, who glanced at Xiaqiu, feeling a bit frightened and hesitant to move.
"Don't be afraid; he won't hurt you."

The overweight man laughed as well, saying, "It's great that she's back. The Sea Monster attack, the Black Peach Pirates crushing the town, and Baroque Works' situation is getting worse. I hope Issa11sunday's return can restore Baroque Works to its former glory."
"Let's hope so," the other Bounty Hunters said, their anticipation subtly rising.
Meanwhile, in the distance, a burly man overheard their conversation and snorted coldly. "Is the President's partner being tested by me? Perfect. I want to see her strength. If the Vice President of Baroque Works isn't stronger than me, then there's no value in joining this so-called Baroque Works."
With that thought in mind, he raised his glass and took a drink.
Suddenly, a loud noise echoed from afar, booming closer and closer with each passing moment.
"What’s happening?"
Everyone was startled by the sound. One by one, hunters stood up and walked toward the door.
"What’s going on?"
The man also stood up and pushed open the door to step outside.
In the next moment, he was astonished by the sight before him.
In the distance, a massive beast appeared, measuring about fifty meters in length and nearly ten meters in height, with sharp dorsal fins.
It had six legs and was slowly making its way toward them, each step resonating with a thunderous sound.
Beside the beast walked a tall woman wearing a round hat. With her hands tucked into her pockets, she curiously surveyed the surrounding buildings, moving leisurely as if she were on vacation.
The burly man caught sight of the woman and paused for a moment. Could she be Issa11Sunday?
He glanced back at the giant beast, cold sweat breaking out on his forehead.
Is it really that powerful?
Forget it; I might as well just focus on passing the assessment.
