Chen Rui was not surprised that they were catching up to him. He was very confident because he had grasped Zhou Yan's weakness: his obsession with martial arts.
Practitioners of martial arts often have a certain admiration for the strong, but Zhou Yan had clearly gone beyond mere admiration.

Inside the car:
"What do you think?" Li Li asked as he looked at Zhou Yan, who shook his head. "They're completely different people. Their offensive styles are not the same, and Zijing isn't as strong as him."
"I wasn't asking you that," Li Li said, covering his eyes with his hand. After pondering for a moment, he continued, "Do you think his personality is similar to Chen Zijing's?"
"Not at all!" Zhou Yan exclaimed. "The only thing they have in common is their appearance; their personalities are worlds apart. Have you forgotten how we initially defined Zijing?"
Li Li shook his head. "That was back then. Haven't you analyzed his true thoughts much since then?"
"What true thoughts..." Zhou Yan asked in confusion. In his memory, Chen Zijing had always been an omnipotent support, a human computer, and a master of cleanup—much like Lu Zijing's unwavering loyalty to Sun Quan in the Three Kingdoms.
"I don't see many similarities between these two either; it seems it's just a coincidence," Zhou Zhi added.
"That's your perspective. In my opinion, these two are fundamentally the same at their core. It's just that," Li Li paused and sighed, "Chen Zijing hides his true thoughts while Chen Rui either doesn't or doesn't care to hide them..."

Suddenly, there was a bang as the front passenger door swung open. Chen Rui sat down and noticed they were all staring at him with smiles. "What are you all planning? Are you thinking of kidnapping me?"
"How could we dare to kidnap you? Right? You are so esteemed!" Li Xue took her place in the driver's seat and smiled at Chen Rui.
Chen Rui watched as Li Xue took her seat behind the wheel and instinctively fastened his seatbelt. Even though he knew traffic in the city was slow-moving, he still felt uneasy with her driving; she might do something unexpected. After all, during their escape before, the maneuver they used had come from Li Xue.
"Yes, I’m begging you; how could I possibly kidnap you?" Zhou Yan leaned forward, her head blocking Li Xue's view momentarily.
Li Xue pushed Zhou Yan back into his seat. "Sit still! Buckle your seatbelt!"
Although Zhou Yan was reluctant, he obediently fastened his seatbelt and looked at Chen Rui with anticipation.
"Beg me? What do you want me to do?" Chen Rui asked with a teasing smile.
"Teach me some moves!"
"Sorry, my martial arts skills aren't that great."
"That's fine! Your leg techniques must be impressive. Teach me a few moves."
"…"
The convoy slowly drove out of the parking lot, only to be stuck in traffic as soon as they hit the road. Chen Rui picked up the walkie-talkie and said to Lujie, "Clear a shortcut immediately! Use all available police resources to ensure I reach the airport within twenty minutes!"
"I'll do my best," Lujie replied vaguely. Faced with the screen before him, he had no confidence in fully executing Chen Rui's orders. The city map displayed on the screen showed that all streets were completely congested, with vehicles scrambling to get out but heading in different directions, causing near paralysis of the city's traffic.
"By the way, how did you dodge that bullet?" Li Xue suddenly interjected.
Chen Rui hung up the walkie-talkie and smiled. "I moved before she fired. However, since it was so close in timing, you all thought I dodged it."
"You knew where I was going to shoot you? Unplanned movements could lead to serious injury!" Zhou Yan exclaimed.
Chen Rui chuckled. "Of course. You definitely wouldn't aim to kill me directly, but you'd need to incapacitate me, so targeting my legs was the best choice. Plus, most people instinctively move their left leg first because it's easier to apply force with the right leg. So there was a high chance you'd aim for my right leg. That’s why I moved my right leg first and managed to avoid your bullet just in time."
"You could think of all that in just those few seconds?" Zhou Yan stared at Chen Rui in disbelief. "How strong are your calculation and logic skills? How fast are your reflexes?!"
"I don't know, but it doesn't matter."
In Chen Rui's blind spot, Zhou Yan nodded lightly to the crowd, and at that moment, everyone felt a tightness in their hearts.
"What are we going to the airport for?" Li Xue asked. "At this time, we won't be able to do much. It must be nearly impossible to get a ticket now, and the Waiting Hall at the airport is bound to be packed. With just the ten of us, we can't control the situation; it might even be worse than the airport security. The worst part is that we could end up being seen as incompetent government representatives, which would severely limit our actions."

Soon, several police officers forcibly opened a passage for Chen Rui's convoy. As they passed through, there was a bit of commotion; some disgruntled private car owners honked their horns furiously, creating a cacophony of sounds.
"Attention all vehicles, turn on your flashing lights!"
A few seconds later, every vehicle in the convoy began to flash red and blue lights from their air intakes and the tops of their windshields. Upon seeing this, the Traffic Police immediately stood at attention and saluted, which also quieted the other private cars.
"Who’s driving the lead car?" Chen Rui asked as he noticed the convoy moving slowly.
"I am. This 'road' is too narrow and has too many turns; we can't speed up," Liu Xin explained.
Chen Rui frowned slightly. "Then find a way. No matter what, even if you have to ram through, we need to reach the airport within twenty minutes!"
"Understood!" Liu Xin decisively accepted the order but did not intend to crash through as Chen Rui suggested. Although traffic was congested, civilians were still rational enough to give them space. If they forced their way through, it could easily lead to a complete breakdown of that last bit of rationality, ultimately trapping them on the road!
Looking at the vehicles blocking the streets in every direction, a chill suddenly swept over Chen Rui. "I hope the Vice President can board the plane safely."
