Typically, reservations at top-tier restaurants require at least a month in advance to allow the establishment to prepare. However, it is not mandatory to book ahead. These restaurants always keep a few special 'vacancies' reserved for unexpected visits from notable figures or top food connoisseurs. 0

When those big names arrive, they certainly cannot go without a meal. 0

With a sense of unease, the Fox settled into the soft chair. Just a week ago, he had dined here for an extravagant dinner, and returning unexpectedly would surely lead to recognition by the staff. 0

However, since he managed to secure a reservation at this restaurant, it was clear that George was no ordinary person. Their dining area was specially enclosed with screens, and two attendants in black stood behind their chairs, ready to serve. The tableware used this time was made of pure silver, adorned with golden emblems. 0

Without ordering or exchanging any words, the Fox felt something was amiss but hesitated to address it directly, choosing instead to gaze quietly out at the dusk beyond the window. 0

Soon, the two attendants entered through the screens and presented beautifully arranged dishes to the black-clad servants. After placing the plates and utensils, the servants poured wine, cut beef bones, and laid out napkins. Although the Fox felt a bit annoyed internally, he managed to suppress it. 0

As one of the black-clad servants poured wine, the Fox inadvertently caught a glimpse of the bottle. It looked strikingly familiar, and memories flooded back like a rushing stream. 0

A week ago: 0

"Can we open that bottle of Bordeaux?" Chen Rui asked while pointing at a bottle in the wine cabinet, smiling at the Mixed-Race Beauty. 0

"Sure, but..." The Mixed-Race Beauty smiled back, preparing to advise them about the price of that wine but was interrupted excitedly by Chen Rui. 0

"Open it!" 0

The Elephant General hesitated for a moment before asking Chen Rui, "What's the story behind that bottle?" 0

Chen Rui replied in surprise, "You didn't notice? It's a 2015 Bordeaux A-class from a first-growth vineyard and it's authentic." 0

Although he couldn't understand everything Chen Rui said, it was clear he was flaunting the high price of that bottle. In fact, its market value was enough to cover three dinners of similar grandeur. 0

"Seeing you stare at your wine glass makes me think you drink often and are tired of it," George's words pulled the Fox back to reality. Looking at George's handsome face made him feel as if he were about to be bent out of shape… 0

The Fox squinted his eyes and sighed. "Tell them to leave; I don't like being waited on." 0

George smiled and waved his hand, and the two black-clad attendants quickly exited, leaving only the Fox and George behind the screen. 0

"I didn't realize you were such a spendthrift," the Fox suddenly dropped her pretentious demeanor, shaking her wine glass in one hand while pointing to her head with the other, watching the bright red liquid swirl in the goblet. 0

"Oh? What do you mean?" George asked with a puzzled smile. 0

The Fox raised an eyebrow and smirked, "Still playing coy? At least I know that an average worker can only afford a bottle of this five-year-old Bordeaux with three months' salary." 0

George chuckled; her words were indeed true. This bottle of wine was probably worth three months' wages for a dockworker, but he certainly wasn't extravagant. 0

The two raised their glasses and exchanged smiles. 0

"Is it really okay for us to just stare like this?" Tiger complained from the side, his eyes glued to the telescope. 0

Elephant General was about to speak but was interrupted by Chen Rui, who said, "What do you want to do? Go in for another meal? Hahaha, if you’re willing, it’s not impossible." 0

"Exactly! I’d love to go back there for another feast! What do you say, Boss?" Big Dog rubbed his hands together with a sly grin at Tiger. 0

Tiger's expression darkened instantly; he shot a glare at everyone and continued to monitor the two diners on the second floor of the restaurant across from them through the telescope. 0

They were currently positioned directly opposite Grae Restaurant, in a room on the third floor of a three-star hotel, specifically chosen to avoid being spotted too early. 0

"It's surprising how calmly he can eat. Hey, isn’t that dish he’s having exactly what you ordered?" Tiger suddenly put down the telescope and looked at Chen Rui in shock. 0

The others turned their attention to Chen Rui as well; this kind of prophetic insight seemed not only to come from his words but also from every action he took, hinting at future events... 0

Chen Rui picked up the telescope again and looked at the table where the two diners sat. He smiled and said, "Wow, it really is! That dish is beef with truffles and smoked pasta. I only ordered it because I saw it on the menu; I didn’t expect such a classic Italian dish would be here." 0

Everyone focused on the movements at the table across from them. Soon enough, they couldn't keep it up any longer; after all, watching someone eat was not exactly an enjoyable experience. 0

"They seem to have stopped eating." Tiger remained steadfast at his post, quickly notifying the others who were half-conscious and lying in bed that the two at the dining table had gone silent. 0

Upon hearing Tiger's message, everyone hurriedly got out of bed and rushed to the window, raising their binoculars to focus on the second-floor window of Grae Restaurant. 0

"It looks like the Fox is drunk..." Tiger continued, as he clearly saw the Fox leaning dizzily against the dining chair, clearly having eaten very little. 0

Chen Rui was somewhat surprised. Although he had seen the Fox get tipsy before, he thought it was due to their relentless drinking. But now, after only half a bottle of red wine, the Fox was already intoxicated. This was hard to believe. "What did you all drink then?" 0

"Beer... and he barely drank a liter." 0

"Alright." Chen Rui covered his face in resignation. If one could get wasted from a liter of beer, it made sense that this 15-degree Bordeaux could do the same. 0

Covering his face, Chen Rui suddenly lifted his head and asked urgently, "But what if he does something inappropriate while he's drunk..." 0

Elephant General thought for a moment and showed a similar expression. "The key issue now isn't what he might do, but that George has taken him back while he's still intoxicated. What if George..." 0

Indeed, that was the most troublesome part. They had never anticipated things would escalate to this point. No, they had assumed the Fox would manage himself well. But now, completely unguarded, if George had any ulterior motives, their entire plan could fall apart. 0

Elephant General put down the binoculars and quickly walked out of the room. "At this point, there's no other option. We need to follow closely and be ready to intervene if things go awry. Even if we expose ourselves, we must rescue the Fox." 0

Chen Rui glanced at Elephant General and realized he couldn't stop this group. Their bond was as strong as that of brothers; they were people who would entrust their lives to each other. 0

Naturally, Chen Rui couldn't join them in action. If the Fox's identity remained concealed, they would have reason to follow him. However, Chen Rui had no justification for following along, so he put on his sunglasses and returned to the Special Operations Bureau from another direction. 0

"Just relay information to me through the team channel. I'll provide you with some assistance once I get back to the bureau," Chen Rui instructed everyone via radio as he quickly walked to the street corner and hailed a taxi. 0

"I really shouldn't have touched any alcohol." George sighed as he placed the Fox in the back seat of his Audi. Although the Fox was slender, he wasn't short, so George struggled a bit to get him settled comfortably in the rear seat. 0

It wasn't until George got into the driver's seat that he realized he had no idea where she lived. He frowned in frustration but finally managed to start the five-ton beast, roaring towards a private dock by the seaside. 0

Elephant General and the others took two taxis, splitting into two groups to head to their destination. Although George noticed a taxi following them, he quickly reassured himself; after all, he had 'kidnapped' someone's sister, and the fact that they hadn't immediately confronted him was a sign of restraint. 0

The port was not far from the restaurant. This private port was surrounded by high walls marking the territory, with only one entrance and an exit that was gated. When the guard saw the license plate of the Audi, he immediately raised the barrier, allowing George to enter. 0

Elephant General was not foolish enough to follow George directly into the port. Instead, he had the driver drop them off a distance away from the entrance. Now, they could only wait for Fox to deal with the guards at the gate before letting them in. 0

From their research, they knew that although there were two cameras at the entrance, there were still blind spots—specifically about two meters in front of the Guard Room. As long as they could silently take care of the Guard Room, they would be able to slip into the place. 0

At that moment, Lion Brother's voice crackled through their earpieces. "L1, the second team has arrived at the designated location. The getaway vehicle is ready." 0

"L1 received. Second team on standby." Elephant General's palms were sweaty; now, the success of their mission depended on Fox. 0

Fox regained consciousness only after George carried her from the car to the door of a room. She immediately wriggled free from his arms and looked at him with wide eyes filled with terror. It was clear she thought he intended to push her down! 0

George awkwardly smiled; it seemed he had been misunderstood again. 0

Fox glanced outside and realized they were at a port. She quickly understood that they had reached their target location. The immediate goal was to determine where their stolen equipment was being held. 0

"What kind of person are you? If you were some rich heir, you wouldn't be staying here," Fox asked with a smile as she looked at the Super Tanker parked not far away. 0

George slowly walked up behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders. "I don't think I've ever claimed to be some rich heir." 0

Fox was too tired to ponder this and was about to ask another question when George spoke up again. "I'm not a rich heir; I come from poverty, and I'm not a good person either. As you can see, I'm just a manager of a port and a private warehouse," he said, pointing at a guard nearby who was holding a large-caliber pistol. "And also a gang leader." 0
