"Continue... kill!!!"
"Keep moving!!!" The Elephant General turned his back, no longer looking at the fox, and resolutely issued the command.
The big dog and Tiger exchanged a sorrowful glance at the fox. The injuries the fox had sustained were severe, making it nearly impossible for him to survive until the mission was completed. Therefore, they could only carry on with his efforts and sacrifices, risking their lives to complete the task.
The fox watched as the Elephant General, the big dog, and Tiger ran forward. He let out a long breath; the situation was much as he had expected. However, the pain in his abdomen was overwhelming, almost causing him to faint—this was beyond what he had anticipated.
Footsteps gradually approached from behind, quick and rhythmic. It seemed that this part of the enemy following them was the real main force; they could not allow them to get any closer to the Elephant General and the others.
Thinking this, the fox slowly lay down on the ground, removing all his grenades and placing them in his pocket. He tightly gripped a high-explosive grenade, patiently waiting for the incoming guests.
A five-man team slowly approached the location of the earlier skirmish. Due to the smoke obscuring visibility, they slowed their pace and discovered several bodies of Allied Forces at the corner.
"B!"
"Seventh Team, scout from the rear towards the south, advance slowly!" After several of his men were taken out by Chen Rui's sniper fire, the Police Commander realized that this sniper was out of sight while also having his shooting angle locked onto the main entrance, making it difficult to target the entire unit.
"Third Team! Fourth Team! Move around to the north side of the military base entrance and scale the wall! Fifth Team! Sixth Team! Quickly maneuver to directly north of the military base and scale the wall! Third Team and Fourth Team! Stand by for re-boarding!" The commander made a swift and correct judgment; with powerful firepower guarding both the south and main entrance, it would be challenging to enter through those two directions. However, due to their own circumstances, movement was also difficult. As long as they eliminated that sniper first and attacked from multiple angles simultaneously, they could successfully seize control of six key points in the military base.
Hundreds of FBI agents and team members densely entered the forest north of the military base, heading towards their respective targets.
The nine FBI agents of the Seventh Team cautiously moved towards Chen Rui's location.
Since Chen Rui had not fired again, it was difficult for the Seventh Team to detect his whereabouts. However, because he was focused on aiming at the entrance of the military base through his scope, he had not noticed any troops approaching him.
The prolonged silence raised Chen Rui's suspicions. After all, this mixed unit of FBI and other forces was likely under orders for fire support. It seemed impossible for them to remain inactive for such a long time. Thus...
Chen Rui quickly set down his weapon, picked up the HK 7 beside him, crouched down, and immediately spotted a team slowly advancing towards him from his ten o'clock direction.
At the same moment that Chen Rui noticed the FBI team, they also spotted him. The three agents in the front row immediately squeezed the triggers of their weapons, sending dirt flying around Chen Rui's original position.
Of course, Chen Rui wasn't foolish. Upon seeing the enemy, he quickly rolled to the side. Estimating that there were at least six or more enemies, he realized it would be difficult to eliminate them all directly. His first instinct was to escape!
Real warfare is not like in movies where a single protagonist can take down hundreds of enemies alone. The reality is that when outnumbered by several times, the enemy's firepower can easily suppress you. By the time you think about retreating, you could suffer significant casualties. Therefore, choosing to withdraw after the first exchange was the correct and wise decision.
The FBI agents were well aware of their advantage and immediately pursued Chen Rui, firing bursts in his direction.
At that moment, Chen Rui was unfortunate; a 5.56 rifle round struck his thigh, causing him to fall to the ground in pain.
Knowing he couldn't escape now, Chen Rui quickly pulled a high-explosive grenade from his waist. With no time to adjust the fuse, he removed the safety pin and threw it towards the FBI agents.
Seeing Chen Rui go down, the FBI agents quickly raised their weapons and fired in unison, creating a dense barrage of gunfire that completely covered him. He didn't even have time to retrieve his HK 7.
Once they confirmed that Chen Rui was likely dead, the FBI agents began to advance slowly. Suddenly, an explosion erupted, sending two agents nearby flying and injuring others who were caught off guard. They had not noticed that a high-explosive grenade had landed right in front of them while they were focused on shooting.
White Wolf also sensed something was off with the enemy's behavior and decided to exit the tank to investigate. However, as soon as he opened the hatch, a bullet struck it, ricocheting and hitting White Wolf in the thigh.
"Damn it!" He didn't need to look to know they had entered. White Wolf returned to his seat and took control of the remote-operated 17 Machine Gun mounted on the vehicle, using its caliber to sweep fire at the enemies assaulting from his right side.
The large-caliber bullets pierced through the bodies of the advancing soldiers like arrows, their fierce power splattering blood up to several meters away. The military base, already devastated by missile strikes, now resembled a bloody Gladiatorial Arena of ancient Egypt.
The ammunition supply for the machine gun was only 65 rounds, and nearly all of it had been used up during the attack on the helicopter. Now, it was being unleashed in a continuous spray against the widely scattered FBI agents and A Team members, quickly depleting the remaining bullets.
This was not a complete suicide mission for the enemy; it was simply that the armor of this tank was too thick. Cannons below caliber 14 could not penetrate it from the front, and even from the side, ordinary hand grenades and rifle grenades were ineffective. Thus, they could only use this tactic to exhaust White Wolf's ammunition supply.
As the machine gun ran out of ammo, White Wolf struggled to rise again, peeking out to grab the nearby Triple-Barreled Machine Gun. He unleashed another barrage at the relentlessly charging enemies.
This triple-barreled machine gun had a caliber of 76. Although its power was not as fierce as that of the previous machine gun, its dense firepower created a formidable barrier that prevented the enemy from advancing even a step, establishing an aura of invincibility.
Of course, this was not a foolproof strategy. First, the rate of fire for the Triple-Barreled Machine Gun was extremely fast; it could exhaust its ammunition in less than a minute when fired at full capacity. Second, the gunner had to stand on a lookout platform to control this machine gun, as it was not equipped with remote control capabilities.
With each crisp bang echoing in succession, the Triple-Barreled Machine Gun finally fell silent. White Wolf gripped its handle tightly, his index finger firmly pressing down on the trigger, refusing to let go even in death.
The bullets from the machine gun had ultimately run out.

"Have you confirmed the location?" Elephant General asked urgently, as alarms echoed throughout the underground base, driving him to distraction.
Elephant General and his team were moving slowly. Tiger led from the front but remained far from Elephant General and Big Dog. The main reason for this distance was that Big Dog was busy matching various construction blueprints in hopes of pinpointing the approximate location of the Control Center.
"Wait! Just a moment!" Big Dog was sweating profusely; beads of sweat trickled down his face and pooled at his chin, soaking his collar.
"How long has it been?" Tiger, on point and vigilant, cursed under his breath. The conflicting urge to charge forward while holding back made him feel miserable. The intense gunfire he had just heard over the intercom undoubtedly signified White Wolf's last stand. When the roaring machine gun fell silent, Tiger nearly collapsed to the ground because he knew this silence represented White Wolf's death...
Big Dog felt equally distressed but refrained from complaining. The fate of their mission rested squarely in his hands. If he gave up now, who would carry on for their fallen brothers?
A line of red text on a black background suddenly appeared on the screen of the Tactical Tablet, indicating a 9% similarity.
"I found it! Over ninety percent, it should be about this!" Big Dog exclaimed excitedly.
"Where?" Elephant General hurriedly caught up from behind, asking with urgency.
Big Dog checked the direction, paused for a moment, and smiled wryly. "Straight ahead!"
"Follow me!" Elephant General clapped Big Dog on the shoulder, raised his gun, and charged forward, with Tiger quickly following him. Big Dog tucked the Tactical Tablet back into his waist and gripped his rifle tightly as he rushed ahead.
After passing through two intersections, the three arrived at a massive circular metal door. There were no handles or anything of the sort on the door, but there was a keypad on the right side, seemingly forgotten in the haste to close it.
"Open it!" Elephant General stood before the metal door, looking ahead with an expression as if he had already judged everyone inside to be dead.
Big Dog quickly connected the Tactical Tablet to the interface and began tapping away at the virtual keyboard. In less than half a minute, there was a loud "bang," and then the massive door slowly began to move inward.
"Come on! This is way too slow!" Tiger said, aiming his gun at what lay beyond the door. Unable to hold back his frustration at how slowly it was opening, he cursed.
Big Dog raised his rifle as well, teasingly saying, "This door weighs three tons. If you think you can push it open, go ahead and give it a try. If that makes you feel better."
The thickness of the metal door was about seventy centimeters. As soon as there was a gap wide enough to see through, Elephant General's deep and angry voice reached Tiger and White Wolf's ears: "Kill them all; do not take prisoners."
