"Even so, where are we going to find that much explosives? And how do we get them in? Besides, what's the purpose of doing this?"
The Fox stared into Chen Rui's eyes, explaining to the others. Only he could keep up with Chen Rui's way of thinking the fastest, as he had already seen through Chen Rui's identity before that dream ended, understanding him far better than the others.
"Of course, we go to the port to get the explosives, and then we hijack a vehicle at the port and rush straight to the Nuclear Control Center. The purpose of this is simple: to let all participants perish in the dream, which will automatically disconnect them."
"Exactly!" Chen Rui pulled out his phone to check the time, then picked up a rifle, inspected it briefly, and stuffed it into his weapon bag. "What are we still doing here? The police are probably already at the Gun Shop. This area will soon be surrounded. If we don’t leave now, are we just waiting for the police to come knocking?"
Chen Rui's words jolted everyone awake. They were not prepared for a robbery; there was too much evidence at the crime scene pointing to them as robbers and murderers. Soon enough, the police would come fully armed, and they would truly be doomed before they even started!
Everyone quickly prepared their weapon bags and followed Chen Rui out of the building. The seven of them walked down the street with their bags slung over their shoulders, looking like a group of young wealthy golfers—if it were in daylight.
At this hour, they certainly couldn't walk openly down the street without drawing attention. Thus, they had no choice but to sneak toward the port, turning what should have been a half-hour walk into an hour and a half journey.
Upon reaching the outskirts of the port, Chen Rui smiled and asked, "Are you familiar with the opposite side?"
Elephant General and the Fox nodded with smiles. Special Forces never forgot places they had been to, even in dreams.
"Wait! I didn't go in!" Lion Brother quickly interjected.
"Me neither," White Wolf nodded in agreement. During their previous dream, he and Lion Brother had been waiting outside the port for support and had no chance to enter and scout the terrain.
Chen Rui pointed to the Guard Room three hundred meters away and whispered, "No problem; you don’t need to go in. Once we reach our position, you just take out the person inside the Guard Room. There should be another person outside, but you don’t need to kill them both at once. You need to draw most of their armed forces here while we climb over the wall!"
"Wait! There's an electric fence on the wall. Although it's not very high, we don't know how powerful it is. Plus, there aren't enough gaps for someone to squeeze through; at least during the climbing action, no one can avoid touching it!" Big Dog interrupted Chen Rui urgently because they had no way to cross the electric fence, and none of their current equipment could cut through it quickly.
"Idiot!" Chen Rui swiftly pulled out his rifle and slung it over his back. He placed a magazine in his coat pocket and emptied his weapon bag before taking out a dagger to cut slits at both ends of his bag. This way, it could fully unfold into a square insulating cloth.
"That's not big enough!" Big Dog still didn’t get it and blurted out something that made Chen Rui want to spit blood.
He hadn’t realized this guy was so dense when he first met him! Chen Rui coughed violently, feeling extremely displeased by Big Dog’s antics.
"Are you really that stupid or just pretending?" Elephant General laughed as he slapped Big Dog on the back. He took the dagger from Chen Rui’s hand and shaped his weapon bag into an identical form as Chen Rui's. Then he hooked his bag's chain onto Chen Rui's bag's zipper.
With a strong pull upwards, it instantly transformed into a complete insulating sheet. Because all their weapon bags were standardized designs, now all seven bags could be combined into one large sheet that was more than enough to cover an electric fence about sixty centimeters high.
The execution capability of Special Forces was unquestionable; in less than a minute, all seven weapon bags had turned into a long rectangular insulating sheet that was far longer than one hundred twenty centimeters.
"You can treat that sixty-centimeter section as just an ordinary net. That way, you should be able to get through, right?" Chen Rui lit a cigarette, the faint glow of the ember flickering in the darkness. If there were a sniper aiming at him, he would likely be dead by now.
"Then let's get started!" Chen Rui tossed the cigarette to the ground and extinguished it. He wrapped himself in the insulating cloth, crouched low, and used the parked vehicles on the street for cover as he began to move deeper into the port.
Lion Brother and White Wolf, acting as bait, only needed to keep the armed guards at the port distracted to assist Chen Rui and the others. At that moment, Lion Brother had his sniper rifle trained on a security guard inside the Guard Room, waiting for a signal from Chen Rui.
"The signal's here!" White Wolf spotted the tactical flashlight flashing in Chen Rui's direction and immediately alerted Lion Brother to prepare for shooting.
"Bang!" A gunshot rang out not far away, and the security guard in the Guard Room was instantly knocked to the ground. The entire port soon lit up, and faint sounds of marching could be heard from within, resembling a military formation.
"Go!" Chen Rui gestured, and Elephant General immediately positioned himself against the wall, fingers interlocked over his chest. Tiger rushed towards Elephant General with a large piece of insulating cloth. As Tiger stepped onto Elephant General's hands, both exerted force simultaneously; Tiger was thrown high into the air, quickly spreading the insulating cloth over the electric net and grabbing hold of its upper edge.
Watching this action, Fox and Big Dog felt their hearts nearly stop. They were unsure if that insulating cloth made from weapon bags was reliable or how strong the current in that electric net was, fearing that Tiger might get electrocuted half to death.
Tiger kicked off from the wall and performed a front flip into the enclosure. Big Dog quickly took over Elephant General's position and helped him inside, followed by Fox who was last in line.
Chen Rui waved at Fox. After hesitating for a moment, Fox dashed towards Chen Rui and cooperatively leaped up, even bouncing higher than Tiger had before easily pushing off against the wall to flip inside.
"What about Chen Rui? Is he not planning to come in?" Tiger asked in confusion.
"Impossible. We don't know where they stored explosive weapons," Elephant General shook his head. "He should be able to get in by himself; just wait a moment."
Before he finished speaking, a dark figure landed at the corner of the wall. Chen Rui had scaled the four-meter-high concrete wall alone without any assistance, even with an additional sixty centimeters of electric netting on top!
"How did you get in?" Tiger asked incredulously. At that moment, it was impossible for Chen Rui to have gained any extra advantages through management; it must have been purely his normal physical abilities. It was hard to imagine how an ordinary office worker could possess such agility.
"Are you blind? I climbed over!" Chen Rui smiled slightly without offering further explanation. "Fox, do you remember where they stored their explosives?"
Fox paused for a moment and shook his head helplessly. "No, I have no idea where they placed their explosive weapons."
Chen Rui questioned him further. "Really?" Without stopping his feet, he led everyone around those guards rushing toward the entrance and quickly moved toward a large closed warehouse.
Fox recalled that in his previous dream, although he had retrieved his gun from among stacks of containers, he had gotten bullets from that warehouse. Thus, that warehouse must be where all ammunition was stored; explosives would naturally be there too!
"Remember now? Do you recall the password for that warehouse?"
"Don't you know it?" Fox certainly remembered the password for that warehouse. However, Chen Rui's constant deflection was starting to irritate him; after all, Chen Rui had experienced this once before too. Moreover, he had observed everything from a god's-eye view initially understanding all circumstances—Fox found it hard to believe that he didn't know these things.
Chen Rui shrugged, not bothering to look back. "Do you think I'm like you guys, with such a good memory and so much spare memory space? Please! I'm very busy, and I won't remember these things when I go back..."
The group encountered no obstacles as they successfully arrived at the large warehouse. The fox skillfully entered the password but chose to open a door that was only wide enough for one person instead of the main entrance.
After all, opening the big door would make too much noise, making it hard to ensure that they wouldn't attract the attention of the guards. Besides, this was an arms depot; throwing a grenade in here would spell disaster for anyone.
Looking at the mountain of wooden crates, Chen Rui frowned slightly. "Comrades! It's going to be tough for you!"
At the port entrance, Lion Brother and White Wolf looked as pale as if they had seen a ghost.
"The gunshot earlier... was it you who fired?" White Wolf shook his head vigorously, trying to convince himself of the lie he had just concocted.
Lion Brother shot White Wolf a glare. "Are you an idiot? Given how close we were just now, do you really think I fired and you wouldn't know?"
"So what's the situation now?" White Wolf leaned against the wall of the parking lot, recalling what had just happened. "The signal's here!" Just as White Wolf finished speaking, gunfire erupted not far away. He quickly turned around and, after confirming that Lion Brother was unharmed, immediately asked, "Whose gunfire is that?"
"I don't know! But it's definitely not mine!" Lion Brother looked through the scope of his sniper rifle towards the Guard Room, where he saw that the security personnel who had been standing there were now slumped over the control panel. The glass of the Guard Room was clearly marked with bullet holes and cracks.
The expressions of both men darkened instantly because at that moment, someone was targeting this port, which stored a large quantity of military-grade weapons, without their group's knowledge.
Someone was coming to intercept them!!!
