Hearing this, Deng Jun smiled, though it was an unnatural smile, merely a facade to cover the surprise that had just appeared on his face. "Who are you? Of course, you are Chen Rui! Or do you think you're Jackie Chan?"
Chen Rui said nothing and didn't drive; he simply stared silently at Deng Jun, waiting for his answer.
Seeing Chen Rui like this, Deng Jun sighed and glanced at him. "Since when did you start to see through this? Or did you just realize it and come running to find me?"
"If I were to explain the process, it would take too long and be too complicated. I have to admit, you guys are indeed a group of professional actors who can keep me spinning! However, a story that is too long will always have loopholes, and when those loopholes accumulate, they lead to the collapse of the story."
Chen Rui did not reveal when he saw through their director's act because he couldn't guarantee his own safety. So even though he found Deng Jun himself, he wouldn't easily disclose any clues about himself.
"Even after all this time, you're still so sharp. You truly live up to your reputation," Deng Jun said with a half-smile. "So what exactly do you want? You should know that under our surveillance, you can't do anything."
"I know that, but I need to do one thing, and I hope you can cooperate with me," Chen Rui nodded. Ever since he ran out of the company, he had considered all possible scenarios during this time and concluded the same as Deng Jun—under the watchful eyes of the state, he had nowhere to hide; under the iron fist of the state, he was powerless to resist.
"I'm not someone who can do anything. Besides, I'm under high-level supervision..." Deng Jun felt somewhat troubled because since this man in front of him had seen through everything, he naturally wouldn't have any simple ideas. Helping him must mean he was interested in his title.
Chen Rui thought for a moment and nodded. "Alright then, I'll lower my demands. There are two—no! Three things I hope you can agree to."
Deng Jun almost opened his mouth to curse him for being shameless but thought better of it and silently nodded.
One thing requiring cooperation meant that it would be executed by him; thus, Deng Jun couldn't grasp the weight or rhythm well. If he slipped out of his capabilities, it wouldn't be a trivial matter.
Three things needing his agreement meant that they would be entrusted to him for execution, allowing him to judge and choose how to carry them out or whether to execute them at all.
Chen Rui smiled lightly. "It's comfortable talking with smart people. The first thing is extremely simple: currently, there should only be three people who can confirm that I know your true identities. I'm relatively at ease with the other two, but I hope you won't report this upward."
After hearing this, Deng Jun laughed. "The other two must be Peng Hao and Xiong Kai. Even if you're not at ease with them, their reports must go through me. As long as I agree with you, they won't have any way around it. You think quite highly of yourself; why would I conceal such an important matter?"
Chen Rui ignored his bargaining and continued, "The second thing is that after this mission ends, grant me leave—a month-long vacation—and conceal my whereabouts from Li Family members!"
"Are you thinking?" Deng Jun understood Chen Rui's intention. The reason they had to wait until the mission was over was that the Dream World Project would soon be announced afterward. Chen Rui slowly uttered a sentence that nearly made Deng Jun jump out of his seat in shock, staring at the man in disbelief!

Even though it was break time, most people were too lazy to return to their dorms and stayed in the 'office' instead.
A casual glance revealed a strong workplace atmosphere; some people were napping with their heads on their desks, while others were dozing off in armchairs. Some were not sleeping but were busy on their phones playing games or chatting with each other.
Fan Xiaohu was one of those who wasn't sleeping. However, he wasn't on his phone or chatting either; he was holding an online meeting with the entire dusksar team.
"Does anyone have any thoughts?" The team leader Liang glanced at the documents Fan Xiaohu had brought and slowly addressed everyone.
Everyone stared intently at the materials in front of them, their expressions a mix of excitement, joy, doubt, and helplessness. Finally, a younger team member raised his hand and said, "Boss, although this project proposal is indeed great, given our current numbers, even adding a new team from Zhi Cheng Entertainment wouldn't allow us to develop this game within six months!"
The others didn't express their opinions verbally, but their expressions showed they agreed with the young man's assessment. With such a workload, even if they expanded their team tenfold, it would still be impossible to complete the game within half a year.
"I know that too, but the people coming from Sincerity are still unclear about it. Perhaps..." Liang Moran's words were ruthlessly interrupted by the boy. "Boss! Stop overthinking! Who would dare ignore Mr. Li's words? The new employees quickly settled down to start working—those who were supposed to plan scripts did so, while those designing plot points continued brainstorming, making the atmosphere lively once again.
"Mr. Li is here; I’ll go talk to her and see if there's any way." After saying this to Liang, Fan Xiaohu left his seat and hurried over to Mr. Li. "Mr. Li."
"Don't call me Mr. Li; call me Junior Sister," Li Xue teased with a mischievous smile. "What's wrong? Is there an issue with the programming?"
Fan Xiaohu certainly didn't dare to call her 'Junior Sister' directly, but since he couldn't call her Mr. Li either, he skipped the title and got straight to the point. "There are indeed significant problems; please discuss the specifics with Team Leader Liang."

Li Xue noticed that Liang did not use overly difficult terms but rather confirmed decisively that it was impossible. Her expression became somewhat dazed. "Is that so? Even with the remaining four teams from Sincerity?"

All races must be fully selectable; otherwise, the game's playability will drop by eighty percent. As for the free play mode, it's the soul of this game 'World.' How can you expect me to cut any of these?!"
Li understood that this was not a simple matter, but he still insisted on his viewpoint. "Right now, we have confirmed that we cannot complete the world outline as it is. If the game’s storyline becomes even more complex, I don’t know when this game will ever be released!"
"We can't cut anything! Not a single one!" Li Xue was also in great distress, hesitating between the two options.
Suddenly, an idea struck Li Xue. She turned her notebook towards the podium and rushed up onto it, beginning to draw something on the touchscreen.
Before long, an image of bamboo slips projected above the podium. Each slip depicted a different race, clearly showing that humans were at the top of the list.
Next were elegantly dressed elves with pointed ears; tall orcs; stout dwarves; ugly goblins; and majestic dragons...
"I've only drawn these few. This is just a specific selection of races; there are branches under each of these races that I won't illustrate one by one," Li Xue said lightly, addressing Fan Xiaohu.
"What does this mean?" Liang looked at the row of races on the bamboo slips and couldn't grasp Li Xue's intention. Wasn't she able to remove playable races? What was the point of drawing this now?
Li Xue's hand moved again on the touchscreen, and aside from humans, all other races were stamped with a red mark reading 'temporarily unavailable.'
"Right now, time is tight. We'll start with the main world and storyline for humans first, and later we can gradually add each race according to how the story unfolds," Li Xue smiled.
