Monk Island?
A place unknown to Rob, but one can imagine what kind of island it might be—
Monks everywhere, with males as numerous as dogs, and at a glance, there are countless bald heads!
Oh my! This island is terrifying!
Just the thought alone left Rob stunned, his face turning pale, his arms trembling slightly. It was more frightening than walking into a men's restroom and finding a cute girl standing there!
With a forced smile, he said, "Sir, don't worry. I'll uninstall the 007 plugin when I get back! I promise there won't be any problems!"
If there were problems, his future would be uncertain!
At that moment, Monster Teacher leaned in closer to Chen Fan, eyes sparkling with excitement. "Chen Fan, I've heard there's a treasure vault hidden underground!!!!"
—A treasure vault?
Chen Fan blinked in surprise. "Where did you hear that from?"
"Hehehe!" Monster Teacher chuckled proudly. "Don't worry about where I got the information. Let's go see how much money is in that treasure vault! Right now, I'm so broke that I only have 5 yen left!"
With that, Monster Teacher pulled out a coin, treating it like a precious gem.
Chen Fan's expression shifted slightly as he glanced away from Monster Teacher, his gaze circling around to assess Beautiful Vampire.
The once sharp-tongued and furious beauty now had a flushed face, wearing an expression of immense satisfaction, much like a young sprout bursting with vibrant spring energy after a rain.
It seemed that the news about the treasure vault had been leaked by someone from within!
Just as Chen Fan was confirming the source of the information, Monster Teacher excitedly waved a tour guide flag, having changed out of his black robe into a casual shirt, his exhilaration evident.
"Chen Fan, let's go on an adventure! I love exploration activities!" Monster Teacher exclaimed, waving the red flag while blowing a whistle with a series of toots.
At that moment, a figure suddenly dashed down from above, shouting, "Ahhh... Don't leave me behind! I love adventures too!"
In the blink of an eye, Peter had abandoned Punisher and returned on his own. He was definitely not there to gawk at Big Bald Rob's misfortune, nor was he lingering for photographs or to seek out the vampire's treasure!
Chen Fan merely rolled his eyes at Peter. He had long sensed Peter eavesdropping nearby; if it weren't for the mention of the vampire treasure—an enticing topic for someone desperate for money—he doubted Peter would have shown up at all.
The allure of wealth truly was the greatest!
Under the guidance of the insider, the treasure-hunting team began making their way toward the Underground Treasure Vault. They navigated through the collapsed ruins, strolling leisurely through the vast underground passage.
This must be what they meant by "the bold are often skilled"!
Along the way, Vampire Girl remained unusually quiet. It turned out that even if she wanted to seek revenge, she found herself unable to do so.
After all, they were dealing with a monster capable of annihilating an entire division with a mere wave of its hand and a Tentacle Monster whose speed was impeccable and whose body was harder than metal.
With these two monsters present, she had no chance of turning the tide. As for Peter and Big Baldy, well, ha ha ha!
"Did you hear that strange roar? It sounded like a beast's growl!" Big Boy's hearing was sharp; as they entered the underground passage, he could hear the odd sounds echoing around him.
"I heard it! It's probably some pet raised by a vampire!" Monster Teacher said nonchalantly, excitement evident in his demeanor as he squinted his eyes. "Just like in the movies, where treasure vaults are guarded by strange creatures. I bet it's the same here!"
"Vampire Sister! Am I right?"
Monster Teacher's playful teasing earned him an eye roll from Vampire Girl. With no hope of escape, she had already given up on fleeing and murmured, "The roar you heard is from a creature my clan recently captured."
"A creature?" This piqued Chen Fan's curiosity. "What kind of creature?"
Since entering this place, Chen Fan had detected a foul odor—a rotten and sinister scent. Though faint, it intrigued him.
"Our clan is still researching it," Vampire Girl said, her expression growing complex. "According to our current findings, this creature is a biochemical weapon created using humans as samples. If bitten or scratched by it, one will become one of its kind, just like the zombies in movies!"
Vampire Girl's face slightly changed at this thought. Such a creature would be equally effective against vampires; once bitten or scratched, there would be no other path but to become one of those monsters.
"Yikes! What a terrifying creature!" Monster Teacher waved his flag nonchalantly and moved his Tentacle forward, continuing to press on.
Peter chuckled nervously; it was indeed a terrifying monster! However, he had seen even more horrifying beings before and turned his gaze toward the two looming figures ahead.
What creature could possibly compare to the terror of these two?
As they ventured deeper, the roars around them grew louder and more pronounced.
Rob tightened his grip on the Thunder Book, pausing momentarily as he moved to the back of the group. At that moment, he realized a truth: it was best for ordinary people to avoid mixing with inhuman monsters.
Because one careless moment could lead to an ordinary person meeting their end.
In just a few breaths, they traversed the kilometer-long path, and their vision shifted from narrow to wide. Before them lay an expansive space covering over ten thousand square meters.
Entering this vast area from the narrow road should have been a moment of relief, but the scene that greeted them instead drew gasps of shock.
Peter froze, his eyes igniting with fierce anger as he clenched his fists tightly. Big Boy had never felt this furious before.
Rob patted Peter on the shoulder and sighed lightly to himself.
Beneath their gaze, bodies lay sprawled on a cold platform, each wrist connected to a soft tube that siphoned away their bright red blood...
"These people's brains have had the part responsible for thought removed. They are now like vegetative states—unable to feel pain or any emotion," Chen Fan said, his face pale and a glint of Purple Radiance flickering in his eyes.
Although he had anticipated such a sight, seeing it firsthand did little to quell the anger boiling within Chen Fan.
"Vampires deserve to die! They all deserve to die!" Big Boy shouted furiously, slamming his fist against the alloy wall with a resounding crash. The hard alloy visibly warped under Peter's blows.
"Yiya! Even I am getting a bit angry!" Monster Teacher's eyes glowed with a fierce red light, even more vibrant than that of the vampires. Coldly, he said, "Spider-Man... are you interested in joining me to wipe out a few vampire outposts? We should bring Iron Man along; I think he would be quite willing!"
