Diamond Station Ten miles away, the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. temporarily stayed here, partly to avoid contact with the people of this world, and partly to prevent displeasing Chen Fan, the Thunder Lord.
After decisions were made by various countries, the commanders from the other world also understood the intentions behind them.
Coulson dared to lead his team here based on his understanding of Bai Chenfan's character, while other Foreign Powers had crossed over to different lands.
After all, the ownership of this continent already belonged to Thunder Lord Chen Fan.
The Floating Fortress slowly descended in front of the troops, and Chen Fan emerged from it. A quick glance revealed a considerable number of people, comparable to a large army group.
“Coulson, why aren’t you exterminating the Kabaneri on the Western Continent, and instead brought your people here?” Chen Fan lazily floated in the air; through the Satellite, he had long known the whereabouts of the Foreign Powers.
“Sir, I’m here to seek cooperation!” Coulson stated his intention clearly. Even with various Technological Weapons, it would take a long time to eliminate all the Kabaneri.
Traveling long distances to exterminate the Kabaneri without using large-scale weapons was indeed a tedious task.
This world could be considered a human settlement; using large weapons would cause destruction that couldn’t be repaired in a short time.
“Cooperation?” Chen Fan squinted: “What kind of cooperation are we talking about? Let’s hear it!”
“We help you build your territory, and all you need to do is eliminate the Kabaneri on the Western Continent!” Coulson smiled. With Chen Fan’s abilities, exterminating a continent's worth of Kabaneri would be as easy as eating and drinking.
Traveling across mountains and seas to fight the Kabaneri was not something that appealed to Coulson. He was more of a cerebral type, which is why he sought out Chen Fan to propose this cooperative arrangement.
Compared to building a territory, going that far to confront the Kabaneri would require significantly more financial and material resources.
“Sounds good!”
Chen Fan nodded. He didn’t need to do this himself; he could simply have Tony create a nuclear bomb version of a biochemical weapon. A few shots would wipe out all the Kabaneri.
“The city will start being built from here, gradually expanding outward. Let’s first construct an academy based on its model!” After agreeing to cooperate with Coulson, Chen Fan pointed at the area where they were stationed.
The migration of the Mutant Academy was much simpler compared to the two companies.
As long as the other party was willing, it would probably take only half the time to move from the real world to another realm.
"Academy?" Coulson's lips twitched slightly.
"Yes, they've decided to come live here!" Chen Fan chuckled, clearly amused by the news that would soon reach ears around the world. He had no intention of hiding it.
With his invitation in hand, anyone who dared to obstruct him would find themselves facing the Electromagnetic Pulse like fireworks on their territory.
After discussions between both parties, Coulson began directing construction teams while the combat units swept through the surrounding Kabaneri.
"Coulson, is this really a good decision?" Natasha frowned after Chen Fan left.
She found it increasingly difficult to approach Chen Fan; just getting close made her feel uneasy. The oppressive aura he exuded filled her with dread.
"The President wants us to eliminate the Kabaneri on the Western Continent. How we do that is my responsibility as commander!" Coulson replied with a smile, his eyes glinting as he pointed southwest and joked, "Natasha, do you think we need to push through for half a year or a year to execute our mission?"
Natasha shook her head with a wry smile. Just imagining that scenario felt tedious.
The Kabaneri were not hard to deal with, but without using large-scale weapons, relying solely on guns and bombs would turn it into a prolonged battle, making it difficult to wipe them out in one go.
This wasn't an invasion; they couldn't use strategic weapons at all.
As the people of the other world were bustling about,
the academy, led by Charles, moved its entire personnel towards the entrance to this new realm. None of them were aware that even as they passed by, they could not perceive the presence of a group of mutants slipping past them.
Not even upon entering the Spatial Rift did this world take notice of them.
"Is this the other world? It looks a lot like Earth, just a bit more desolate!" Logan exclaimed excitedly as he gazed at the scenery before him. The area was barren and filled with an eerie silence, yet it was a world free from scorn and oppression.
After leaving the military base's hundred-mile radius, the mutants began to chat casually, their conversations revolving around the new world.
"This continent, aside from the military base which is shared territory among various nations within a hundred miles, belongs entirely to Mr. Chen Fan. Currently, we are still a thousand miles away from where he is," J.A.R.V.I.S. informed all the mutants while introducing some aspects of this new realm.
Iron Armor, mingling among the mutants, was also a manifestation of J.A.R.V.I.S.
How many people were there in the academy?
How many peaceful mutants were there?
Altogether, they numbered less than ten thousand, even fewer than vampires.
A thousand miles is neither long nor short; however, with the speed of J.A.R.V.I.S.'s weakened version of the Floating Fortress, several trips would transport thousands of mutants to where Chen Fan resided.
This was indeed on the land outside Diamond Station.
Upon receiving news, Chen Fan naturally came out to greet them. After all, these were future residents of his territory and potential guardians of law and order!
"In response to your invitation, Thunder Lord, our entire academy and all peaceful mutants have relocated to this world!" Charles announced from his wheelchair, with those willing to inhabit the new world gathered behind him.
"Welcome to all of you!" Chen Fan's gaze swept over the crowd before him. Anyone who met his eyes could not hold their gaze for more than a second before looking down. At that moment, he smiled and said:
"I originally planned to help you establish a settlement, but I didn't expect you to arrive just as we were starting. How about this: follow me to Station for now, and once everything is set up here, you can move back."
"Your Excellency Chen Fan, you are too kind. We are already very happy to have found a peaceful place. As for the construction of the settlement, let them contribute as well!" Charles sensed that Chen Fan meant no harm, and his worries eased. He called to the mutants behind him, encouraging them to join the construction team.
"Alright, those who wish to stay here can do so; those who don't can come with me to Station. There will be an event happening there, and it will be quite lively!" Chen Fan said with a smile. As for the language barrier, everyone had a translator; what problem couldn't be solved?
Once Chen Fan finished speaking, aside from the group of combatants in front of him, everyone else rushed over to Coulson, eagerly starting the construction of the settlement. Their enthusiasm left Coulson stunned.
"Professor Charles, since you're here, I could use your help with something!" Upon seeing Charles, Chen Fan immediately thought of the abilities of this righteous mutant leader.
Telepathic powers, and domain-type abilities.
"As long as it's within my capabilities, I will not refuse!" Naturally, Charles would not turn down assistance from a future lord.
"I came to this world seeking revenge on vampires. However, those guys are scattered across various human settlements, making them hard to find. So..." Before Chen Fan could finish his sentence, Professor Charles smiled and agreed: "No problem! I also have quite a dislike for these parasites!"
"It would be best if you could control them to come over themselves; they can actually be quite useful!" Chen Fan said a bunch of cryptic words in front of everyone. It wasn't until he arrived at Station and saw a group of vampires working diligently that he understood what he meant.
"Vampires in this world aren't afraid of sunlight? No wonder they could move their entire clan here without hesitation!" Logan rubbed his eyes and looked at the vampires building houses, his mouth twitching uncontrollably.
"Everyone will temporarily reside in these newly constructed houses. As for where you want to go, feel free!" After giving his instructions, Chen Fan didn't linger. To maintain the facade of Monster Teacher, he still needed to play the role of a deity later on.
