Wei Chen had become addicted.

The Dark Mage felt a sense of confusion. Since he had already reached the ninth level of the Stellar Technique, why was there no way to Ascend to Godhood?
Wei Chen sighed, bitterness evident in his voice. "Grandfather, Ascending to Godhood is almost hopeless."
"Why?" the Dark Mage quickly asked.

"What conditions?" the Dark Mage inquired.

"Why didn't I know this? The Stellar Technique doesn't mention anything so complicated!" the Dark Mage asked in confusion.
Wei Chen shook his head. "I only realized this after reaching the ninth level of perfection. There may be other methods, but in my understanding, destruction and reconstruction are necessary. By absorbing the core powers of all stars in the firmament and reassembling your body, you can achieve longevity equal to the earth and shine alongside the sun and moon."
"Only such a body can be considered as having Ascended to Godhood. Other methods, like accumulating Stellar Power, will reach a limit where your body can no longer absorb it. The Stellar Power will cease to have any refining effect on your body. I reached the ninth level of the Stellar Technique long ago; after that, I wasted time accumulating and refining without results. Red Boy nodded in agreement with Wei Chen's words, saying, "I also think it's useless. The Divine Kings of the Ancient World possess unfathomable strength; your Spatial Martial Soul is basically ineffective."
"Unfathomable? Heh, Red Boy, how do you think those Divine Kings compare to Wei Chen?" the Demon Lotus Emperor sneered.
Red Boy responded, "How could they compare? Wei Chen is a god; he could wipe out a Divine King from the Ancient World with just one hand."
