In almost every world, there exists the presence of gods, with numerous examples of Boundary Gods who have cultivated to the Divine Realm.
Over time, as long as a Boundary God remains within their Ancestral Realm and does not venture out, they face no risks and can steadily enhance their power. Although the progress may be slow, it is inevitable that one can eventually become a First-Level Deity.
Transitioning from a Boundary God to a First-Level Deity poses no difficulty at all.
With enough time spent, one will naturally become a First-Level Deity.
In the vast majority of worlds, there are their own Boundary Gods. In powerful worlds, there are formidable Boundary Gods and even gods. Some Boundary Gods in these strong worlds have cultivated over long periods to reach Fifth-Level Deity or even Supreme God status. For instance, among the Supreme Gods in the Endless Divine Realm, half possess their own Ancestral Realms, while the other half are native gods of the Endless Divine Realm.
In summary, gods are universally present.
Gods require the Power of Belief to transform into Divine Power, which is why in worlds with gods, humanity possesses faith.
In other worlds, unless there are no Boundary Gods or humans present, belief in gods is prevalent.
The Spatial Plane of the Cosmic Center is an exception.
For some unknown reason, it cannot produce Boundary Gods, nor even False World Gods, resulting in a lack of faith.
Before Wei Chen appeared, realms such as Soul World and its higher levels—Soul World’s preceding demonic realm and Nine Immortal Realm—had no gods and thus no faith. Only the Ancient World had its unique belief centered around artifacts.
The artifacts born at the dawn of the Ancient World represent a shared faith among its inhabitants.
Individuals at the level of Ten Great Divine Kings control the Ancient World; the humanity within their territories worships the artifacts belonging to their respective Divine Kings as their common artifacts. However, the loss of artifacts in the Ancient World has been severe; from ten artifacts, only four remain today. This means there are still four places where humanity maintains its faith; in other areas where artifacts have vanished, cohesion is lost and faith diminishes.
The Great Merchant God King has come to the demonic realm seeking to reclaim the faith of his territory: the Refining Demon Pot!
Unexpectedly, he encountered a god, a powerful First-Level Deity.
The Great Merchant God King had witnessed many gods during his time in the Ancient World and initially looked down upon First-Level Deities. However, the Boundary God from the Demon Realm had cultivated to the level of a First-Level Deity in such a short time, which left the Great Merchant God King utterly shocked in every aspect.
The emergence of a Boundary God in the Demon Realm was already enough to astonish him, completely overturning his understanding of the Cosmic Center Divine Realm. Moreover, Wei Chen had reached the First-Level Divine Realm in such a brief period, which further amazed the Great Merchant God King.
Faced with a First-Level Deity born in the Demon Realm, the Great Merchant God King felt it necessary to cultivate a good relationship with Wei Chen. When Wei Chen attacked other Spatial Planes, he would willingly act as a vanguard, establishing merit and undoubtedly reaping benefits.

The Great Merchant God King eagerly anticipated that day.
Additionally, he saw hope for reclaiming the divine artifact.
If he could retrieve the artifact and regain the faith of himself and his people within his sphere of influence, it would mean more to him than anything else. He would even consider sacrificing his life for that cause.
This was why the Great Merchant God King was immensely excited.
As long as there was a leader to lead them in seizing back the artifact, he firmly believed that all Divine Kings within the Ancient World would do their utmost to support that leader.
The artifact represented their faith—a sentiment that Wei Chen could not comprehend.
Wei Chen looked at the Great Merchant God King and calmly asked, "If the artifact is perfectly fine in the Ancient World, why did it go missing?"
The Great Merchant God King quickly replied, "My lord, within the artifact lies a divine essence that we cannot control. Artifacts appear and disappear without a trace; no matter how well we guard them, there is always a possibility of loss."
"Oh? Is it really that formidable?"
"My lord, you may not know this, but the Ten Divine Artifacts of the Ancient World are coveted even by the Deities within the Endless Divine Realm. The Fifth-Level Deities and even the most powerful Supreme Gods all desire these artifacts. Even obtaining just one of them would bring immense benefits. There is much I do not know, but these artifacts do not break easily; using them in battle is ideal. According to rumors, the two artifacts that were stolen were taken under the orders of a Supreme God, and they paid a hefty price to acquire them. After obtaining those two artifacts, the Supreme God studied them but still could not control them. This is why four artifacts remain safe in the Ancient World; otherwise, the other Supreme Gods would have already seized them all."
The Great Merchant God King finished speaking, gazing eagerly at Wei Chen, lost in thought.
Wei Chen gradually organized his thoughts. In short, the artifacts are crucial for humanity in the Ancient World; without them, their essence is lost. The highest figures in the Endless Divine Realm all wish to control these artifacts, and despite their significant investments, they currently have no means to do so. The other Supreme Gods weighed the pros and cons before deciding to let go; otherwise, all the artifacts in the Ancient World would have been taken long ago.
"Alright, I understand."
Wei Chen nodded slightly, his expression towards the Great Merchant God King becoming more amiable.
"Great Merchant God King, when you return to the Ancient World, I have a task for you to see if you can complete it satisfactorily," Wei Chen said calmly.
The Great Merchant God King quickly replied, "My lord, please give your orders. You are our hope in the Ancient World; it is an honor to serve you."
"I ask you, how are your connections in the Ancient World?" Wei Chen inquired lightly.
The Great Merchant God King responded, "My lord, you need not worry about this. Among the Divine Kings in the Ancient World, while I may not be the strongest in power, I certainly have the best connections. All Divine Kings consider me a friend. In the Ancient World, there is no one with such extensive connections. The relationships between other Divine Kings are often strained. For instance, during conflicts among the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, it was I who mediated between them. As for matters concerning the Great Xia Divine King, there are some complications."
"Oh? What do you mean?" Wei Chen's interest was piqued; after all, the Great Xia Divine King was still residing within his Sea of Consciousness.
The Great Merchant God King explained, "My lord may not be aware that the previous Great Xia Divine King was betrayed by his subordinates and has since gone missing. The new Great Xia Divine King lacks a Divine King Token and thus is not considered a legitimate Divine King; he is looked down upon by our other nine Deity kings and has secretly allied himself with a Deity from the Endless Divine Realm."
"Is that so? What kind of person was the previous Great Xia Divine King?" Wei Chen asked casually.
As for hearsay regarding the Great Xia Divine King residing within his Sea of Consciousness, Wei Chen did not fully trust it; he needed to gather information from others to assess what kind of person he truly was. The Great Merchant God King was unaware that Wei Chen had already communicated with the Great Xia Divine King and found some credibility in his words.
The Great Merchant God King continued, "My lord, the Great Xia Divine King was straightforward and just; he was also the strongest among all Divine Kings and had always been regarded as number one in the Ancient World! When he was present, there were far fewer wars in the Ancient World because he mediated disputes effectively. The other Divine Kings respected him greatly; whenever there were conflicts, he could provide fair and harmonious judgments. However, after he was reduced to mere soul form and vanished into the Spatial Tunnel, chaos ensued in the Ancient World. The Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors frequently fought amongst themselves; my role as a mediator has merely been that of an intermediary relaying messages between both sides. They do not trust me as I lack sufficient power."
"Honestly, the strength of the Five Emperors is greater than mine, while the Three Sovereigns are slightly weaker, but not by much. In the original Ancient World, the Great Xia Divine King was the strongest, followed by the Five Emperors, then myself, and finally the Three Sovereigns."
"Among the Five Emperors, the strongest is the Earth-type Yellow Emperor, followed by the Fire-type Flame Emperor, then the Water-type Zhuanxu, next is the Metal-type Shaohou, and lastly the Wood-type Taihao. They share some familial connections to varying degrees, but over time those ties have become insignificant. Even Shaohou, who is the son of Yellow Emperor, is now at odds with him. Zhuanxu, being a grandson of Yellow Emperor, also does not get along with him."
"Among the Three Sovereigns, Sui Huang is the strongest, Xi Huang comes next, and Agricultural Sovereign is last. The Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors have been engaged in continuous warfare and alliances, yet none can truly defeat the others. When they are utterly exhausted from fighting and consider a truce, I merely act as a mediator. In truth, my power is limited; it is the Great Xia Divine King who reigns supreme in the Ancient World. His words command respect from all Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors."
"The territory of humans lies on the fringes of the Ancient World and is quite barren. There are not many strong individuals within this territory. Furthermore, since the Refining Demon Pot is inconspicuous and has yet to show any effects, the battles among Divine Kings in the Ancient World have little to do with me. This allows me to serve as a messenger among the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors."

The Great Merchant God King shared everything he knew with Wei Chen, demonstrating his heartfelt loyalty.
Wei Chen was somewhat satisfied with the performance of the Great Merchant God King.
"So aside from the new Great Xia Divine King, none of the remaining Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors have been controlled by gods from the Endless Divine Realm?" Wei Chen asked calmly.
The Great Merchant God King nodded before shaking his head with a wry smile. "My lord, there may be one or two among the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors who have already fallen under the control of gods from the Endless Divine Realm; I cannot guarantee otherwise. Moreover, there is currently no presence of a Great Xia Divine King in the Ancient World; what we refer to as a new Great Xia Divine King is merely a puppet of the Endless Divine Realm. That imposter lacks a Divine King Token and is not a true Divine King; no one in the Ancient World recognizes his status as such. The Divine King Token is essential for a Divine King; it has existed since the inception of the Ancient World and corresponds to the Ten Divine Artifacts. While artifacts may be lost over time, a Divine King Token will not. After all, a Divine King Token is merely symbolic and holds no actual value, whereas Ten Divine Artifacts are entirely different."
Wei Chen nodded and smiled. "Do you know what specific functions the Ten Divine Artifacts serve?"
"My lord, I have systematically researched this question and have some insights."
