"What kind of person is Zhang Shi?" Wei Chen hurriedly asked while the disciple went out to summon someone.
"He is the Master of the Thunder Sword Sect, a rather enigmatic individual. His strength, I have never been able to see through; he must have already reached the Sixth Level Divine Realm," Yue Songyang, Deputy Hall Master, replied calmly.
Soon, a refined middle-aged man dressed in a long robe walked in.
Wei Chen noticed that a long sword hung from the man's waist, three inches longer than an ordinary sword.
Typically, a sword that is an inch longer than usual is considered quite long, so a sword that is three inches longer is certainly extraordinary.
"This long sword must be inconvenient to wield," Wei Chen thought to himself.
"Zhang Shi, what brings you here?" Yue Songyang, Deputy Hall Master, asked with a smile.
Zhang Shi deeply bowed to Yue Songyang, then bowed to Qian Youshi and several Ancestor Xu Elders, and finally bowed deeply to Wei Chen, respectfully saying, "Greetings, Vice Master. Greetings, Qian Youshi. Greetings to the esteemed elders. It is an honor to meet you, Lord Wei Chen."
Zhang Shi's attitude was extremely respectful; even Wei Chen was addressed as 'Lord,' which was quite peculiar.
However, Wei Chen reconsidered and felt it was not unusual. After all, the Thunder Sword Sect had not yet broken free from the control of the Temple of Martial Arts. Since they were still under the Temple's jurisdiction, it was only natural for Master Zhang Shi of the Thunder Sword Sect to show respect when meeting core high-ranking officials of the Temple.
Yue Songyang, Deputy Hall Master, along with Qian Youshi and Ancestor Xu Elders held significant positions; Wei Chen's status was also not insignificant. Therefore, it was normal for Zhang Shi to pay his respects.
"Zhang Shi, no need for such formalities. If you have something to discuss, just speak directly. We are all family here; there’s no need for politeness," Yue Songyang said lightly.
His politeness carried an underlying message that was far from simple. Wei Chen could sense that it was a subtle hint to Zhang Shi: don’t try anything funny; the Thunder Sword Sect is still subordinate to the Temple of Martial Arts. No matter how strong you are, that fact cannot be changed.
Zhang Shi respectfully replied, "Vice Master, I indeed have a matter to discuss."
"Let’s speak plainly without beating around the bush," Yue Songyang's tone turned serious.
Zhang Shi continued respectfully, "I would like to present the Thunder Sword Technique from the Thunder Sword Sect to Lord Wei Chen and would like to know if Lord Wei Chen is interested."
With that, Zhang Shi turned his gaze toward Wei Chen, clearly indicating his goodwill.
Yue Songyang, the Deputy Hall Master, waved his hand dismissively and said, "You all continue your conversation."
He led Qian Youshi and several Ancestor Xu Elders away. In such situations, it was inappropriate for them to stay. At the Temple of Martial Arts, there were rules regarding such matters; when subordinate factions came to present treasures, they could specifically offer them to a named individual, while others should avoid the scene as much as possible.
Under normal circumstances, Yue Songyang would never have left; he would have stayed to watch. However, since the recipient of the treasure was Wei Chen, he had no choice but to leave quickly, not wanting to be a hindrance.

It's not that we are unwilling; rather, the Thunder Sword is truly rare. If we were to rank it, I believe it would be among the highest levels within the Endless Divine Realm."
"We have always hesitated to present the Thunder Sword to anyone. On one hand, we are reluctant; on the other hand, we have yet to find someone capable of mastering it."
Zhang Shi then took out a book on sword techniques and handed it to Wei Chen. "My lord, I noticed earlier that your Divine Might utilized swordsmanship that bears some resemblance to the Thunder Sword. Therefore, I dared to bring this Thunder Sword Technique for you to examine. If you can master it, it would indeed be a great honor for our Thunder Sword Sect."

"Killing God Senior, you should be able to tell if this Sword Technique is the same as what that elder brother created, right?" Wei Chen asked with a frown.
Killing God Senior answered, "Of course I can tell. Unfortunately, they are not identical; they can only be considered of the same origin. If they were identical, why would you need me?"
"I have a task for you. Go check out the Thunder Sword Sect and carefully probe for clues; perhaps you can find a stronger version of the Destruction of the World Thirteen Swords," Killing God Senior instructed.
Wei Chen said, "Senior, is it possible that the version of the Sword Technique derived from the Destruction of the World Thirteen Swords is stronger than your own Destruction of the World Thirteen Swords and Mental Attack Technique?"
"Of course not," Killing God Senior shook his head and added, "It is impossible for anything to be stronger than my Destruction of the World Thirteen Swords. However, that Fellow is quite remarkable; being able to transform my Destruction of the World Thirteen Swords into a Sword Technique shows he is a genius in swordsmanship."
"He demonstrated that Sword Technique in front of me, and I was somewhat satisfied. But since he did not cultivate my orthodox Destruction of the World Thirteen Swords and Mental Attack Technique, he cannot be considered my disciple—at most, he can only be regarded as half a disciple."

His status was extraordinary; when he visited Thunder Sword Sect's Temple of Martial Arts, there were no inquiries made about him. In Yue Songyang's eyes, Wei Chen had received benefits from Thunder Sword Sect and was merely there to inquire about some relevant matters—nothing significant.
Regardless, it was unlikely that Wei Chen would defect to Thunder Sword Sect. As long as such a situation did not arise, Yue Songyang could accept any other circumstances.
