Wei Chen communicated with the fire dragon through his divine sense, while Donghua and Shaohou felt uneasy, unaware of what was being discussed. They sensed that Wei Chen was negotiating something significant with the dragon, which occasionally became agitated, its massive body thrashing about, instilling a sense of dread in them as they quietly worried for Wei Chen.
"That kid Wei Chen has some nerve. That fire dragon could easily swallow him whole with just one bite."
"Yeah, I really don't understand what Wei Chen is thinking, standing so close to such a terrifying beast..."
"Truly bold and reckless; there's no doubt about it."
"No matter how strong Wei Chen is, he can't possibly match that fire dragon. He must have some confidence; that dragon won't harm him. We've been worrying for nothing."
"Let's hope so. I have a feeling that fire dragon has some issues."

Donghua and Shaohou began to chatter among themselves. Although they hadn't gained much insight since arriving in the Endless Divine Realm, they were truly learning a lot within this Fire Clan Secret Realm.
Ying Qin, the Supreme Deity, had similar thoughts. Although he held the title of Supreme God in the Endless Divine Realm, he was well aware of the irony behind that honor.
Wei Chen carefully analyzed the words of the Fire Dragon and asked, "Brother, is the Beast God on the same level as that esteemed individual?"
"Sort of. The Beast God, along with the Five Ancient Gods and the Demon God, are all considered equals. We beings within this universe's Spatial Plane were all created by them. The Five Ancient Gods created the five clans: Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. These clans intermarried and gave rise to countless humans. The first generation of these clans now resides in the Great Realm. The Beast God created the first generation of beast clans, which includes us divine beasts. Our headquarters is also located in the Great Realm. There is only one Beast God, and all beast clans are his creations. For instance, our dragon clan has many branches; the Fire Dragon Clan was originally just a simple dragon clan but became what it is today through intermarriage with the first generation of the Fire Tribe. Similarly, the Golden Dragon Clan emerged from intermarriage with the Golden Clan."
"The large-scale intermarriage between the first generation of clans and beast clans endowed them with different attributes."
Hearing this, Wei Chen looked at the Fire Dragon's long body and wondered how such unions could occur. However, he quickly thought of Ni Junlin, the Seven-Colored Devouring Python, who was quite formidable in the Demon Domain and had a massive physique as well. When she transformed into a human form, she was charming and graceful—wasn't she with Wei Chen?
Intermarriage seemed to pose no issue.
Wei Chen then asked, "What is the relationship between the first generation of clans and those that came later?"
The Fire Dragon explained, "They were all created by Ancient Gods, but the purity of their bloodlines is certainly stronger in the first generation."
Upon hearing this, Wei Chen mentally organized what the Fire Dragon had said and continued to inquire, "Besides the Beast God and the Five Ancient Gods, there is also a Demon God. What kind of being is this Demon God?"
"The Demon God is very mysterious; among the seven Ancestral Gods, he is the most enigmatic. It is said that when the Demon God disappeared, our universe became barren—flowers and trees became scarce. The Demon God created all flora but seems to have produced very little before vanishing without a trace," replied the Fire Dragon.
This time, Wei Chen felt a jolt in his heart. Could it be that the Demon Lotus Emperor was indeed the Demon God?
"By the way, since you know that esteemed individual, you must be on a similar level as him too? What exactly exists in your First-Level Spatial Plane? How do the powers of Ancient Gods and Beast Gods compare within your First-Level Spatial Plane?" The Fire Dragon countered Wei Chen's question.
Wei Chen shook his head helplessly and said, "I don't know."
"Hey, brother, I guess you've inherited some kind of bloodline, right? Those memories, you still haven't recalled them. When you do remember, don't forget me. Right now, I can still call you brother, but later on, I'll have to address you as 'Lord.' That would be so awkward!" the Fire Dragon laughed.
Wei Chen shrugged and transmitted, "Don't worry, no matter who I become in the future, you'll always be my brother."
Neither Wei Chen nor the Fire Dragon expected that this casual remark would become the most powerful creed of their lives!
As brothers, they would always be brothers!
As brothers, they would help each other and never hold each other back!
Wei Chen's true form was the Demon Lotus Emperor, but that Fire Dragon was no slouch either!
"Hehe, brother, this is great! You better not go back on your word," the Fire Dragon transmitted.
Wei Chen nodded and replied, "I won't go back on my word."
"When you awaken your memories and can go to the Ancestral God Realm, don't forget me. You have to take me with you to see the world!" the Fire Dragon said.
Wei Chen smiled and said, "If that really happens, I will definitely take you with me."
While Wei Chen spoke confidently, his heart was filled with doubts. Could that Demon Lotus truly be what they called a Demon God? One of the seven Ancestral Gods?
"Brother, how did you know what you just said? Normally, matters concerning the Ancestral Gods are confidential, right?" Wei Chen asked lightly.
The Fire Dragon replied, "This is part of our Fire Dragon Clan's inherited memories. At a certain point in time, they will awaken. In our realm, these things are secrets, but in the Great Realm, countless people know about them; it's not a secret at all. Since you know the Lord of Fire, it's fine for you to be told about these things."
"Alright then," Wei Chen nodded but suddenly thought about the Fire Clan Leader and Fire Shadow—hadn't all those who came to explore perished?
The Fellow before him seemed quite friendly; how could he possibly eat people? Moreover, they were here in the Fire Clan Secret Realm as guests, and it would be unwise to offend the Fire God by consuming his kin.
Wei Chen hesitated, unsure if he should directly ask this question.
The Fire Dragon said, "Brother, do you have any other questions? Feel free to ask; I will tell you everything."
There was a reason the Fire Dragon held Wei Chen in such high regard. If it were an ordinary person, the Fire Dragon wouldn't even bother with them. But Wei Chen was someone the Fire God had acknowledged, and asking for the Fire Dragon's assistance made Wei Chen a friend of the Fire God. A friend of the Fire God held significant status; even if Wei Chen's current strength was lacking, the Fire Dragon believed that he must possess a powerful bloodline. Once all those memories awakened, Wei Chen's strength would surely become astonishing.
It was beneficial to befriend such a person early on. The Fire Dragon was also quite lonely; his kin had gone to the Fire Clan Secret Realm to train and could frequently venture out to play in the vast expanse of the Great Land, but he could not. He was stuck in the Fire Clan Secret Realm, bored out of his mind, and the oppressive aura within the Endless Divine Realm would harm his abilities.
When he learned that Wei Chen had access to the True God World, the Fire Dragon had already decided that even if Wei Chen didn't want him around, he would cling on stubbornly. This suited Wei Chen perfectly. The Fire God was also in Wei Chen's True God World; if the Fire Dragon went there, he could continue to enjoy the Fire Divine Power emitted by the Fire God, which was infinitely better than training in the Fire Clan Secret Realm. If his clan discovered that he had "escaped" from his training grounds, he could easily explain that he was with the Lord of Fire and that it was the Lord of Fire who allowed him to follow this human.
With this plan, he had no worries at all.
Most importantly, the Fire Dragon sensed a strong demonic aura emanating from Wei Chen.
That demonic aura was as majestic as those ancient great demons within the Great Realm.
The Fire Dragon speculated that Wei Chen's identity was certainly extraordinary. However, at this moment, he couldn't have imagined that Wei Chen's identity was even more powerful than he thought.
All these reasons made the Fire Dragon extremely courteous toward Wei Chen.
Seeing the Fire Dragon's excellent attitude, Wei Chen guessed what the dragon was thinking. It didn't matter; let him think whatever he wanted; after all, it was best to go with the flow.
"Fire Dragon Brother," Wei Chen said lightly, "there have been several instances where members of the Fire Tribe organized expeditions here in the Fire Clan Secret Realm. None of them returned—could it be that you ate them all?" He looked into the eyes of the Fire Dragon as he asked.
The Fire Dragon paused for a moment and replied, "Yes, I did eat them all! There’s nothing to eat in the Fire Clan Secret Realm. While I can absorb Fire Divine Power without needing food, when people come here willingly, I might as well eat a few to improve my meals."
Hearing the words of the Fire Dragon, Wei Chen was filled with astonishment. This was unbelievable; he really had been devoured by this Fire Dragon! It shouldn't have come to this!
"Fire Dragon Brother, aren't you afraid of angering the Fire God? You've eaten her subjects; isn't that a problem?" Wei Chen asked, feeling speechless.
The Fire Dragon was equally perplexed. What was this all about?
"Brother, I am a pure member of the Fire Dragon Clan, with an extremely pure bloodline. I've even shown signs of atavism. Perhaps in the future, my strength could rival that of the first generation of Fire Dragons, or even come close to the first generation of pure dragons! Just in terms of combat power, the first generation of pure dragons is already nearing the level of the Beast God!" the Fire Dragon explained.
Wei Chen replied, "So what? Does that justify your eating people?"
"Brother, let me put it this way: in our eyes, weak humans—whether they have complex bloodlines or belong to the Five Clans of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth—are like ants. We can crush them whenever we want. The Lord of Fire doesn’t care about these matters; she doesn’t give a damn. Weak humans are just food, right?" The Fire Dragon found Wei Chen's perspective quite strange; wasn't it normal for the strong to prey on the weak?
Wei Chen sighed lightly. It dawned on him that he was indeed too naive. After killing some members of the Fire Tribe, he felt a twinge of guilt, but he hadn't realized that in the eyes of the Fire Dragon, as long as those from the Fire Tribe approached him, he had an excuse to devour them…
Eating people and killing them were two different matters; it was far too evil.
Wei Chen truly didn't know whether he should take this fellow along. It felt like trouble; once they reached the Endless Divine Realm, how many people would this fellow consume when it went wild?
He glanced at the massive form of the Fire Dragon. Perhaps it would take thousands of people just to satisfy its hunger for one meal?
