The Blazing Flames continued to rage, as hundreds of City Guards rushed in with water buckets and large fire-fighting water trucks. 0

These trucks were filled with water from buckets two to three meters in diameter, and a steam engine lifted the buckets twenty meters into the air before dumping the contents down. 0

Cold water poured onto the flames, instantly vaporizing into mist. The thick water vapor spread out, further hindering the spread of the fire, allowing it to be extinguished quickly. 0

The City Guards cordoned off the tavern, while some donned protective gear and rushed inside to rescue those trapped within. Everything appeared to be in order. 0

"I can only see the final outcome each time—people killed, houses destroyed, various bloody tragedies. Yet, I cannot see the process; I do not know why these things happen!" 0

At the entrance of a nearby alley, Allen looked up at the tavern still billowing black smoke, his expression a mix of emotions, with an unmistakable sense of helplessness and fatigue. 0

"You don’t understand—the despair of knowing that a disaster might occur, yet feeling powerless to prevent it, forced to watch it unfold..." 0

"Isn’t it possible to change the future?" Rody couldn't help but feel a pang in his heart as he punched the wall beside him. 0

If that were true, what use was this ability? 0

"It can be changed. I once saved a pet dog because of it. However, the premise for change is that you must know how events unfold." 0

Allen looked at him with hopeful anticipation, his tone quickening. "In the visions I've seen, you appeared and fought against the True God Cult with incredible strength." 0

"Could I really have that kind of power?" Rody pointed at himself uncertainly. He had always fantasized about being a great hero who saved the world. 0

Unfortunately, reality was harsh and unforgiving; despite his long efforts, he had not made any progress. He couldn't even afford the most basic Rune Factory as a Spirit Master, which only deepened his lack of confidence. 0

"Yes, it's you! I can't find anyone else. Right now, I need your help!" 0

Rody recalled his past and couldn't help but nod—if he could truly resolve a major crisis that might occur in the future, he would surely become a revered hero. 0

Following Allen, Rody began to navigate through the city. 0

Since Allen was also unsure where exactly things had gone wrong, he needed to identify potential battlefields to deduce who might be involved. 0

Just like the previous fire at the restaurant, all he could see was a burning building, unable to even tell if it was a restaurant. 0

However, there were hundreds of similar tall buildings in Storm Harbor. By the time he confirmed the location of the restaurant, what came into view for the two of them was already Blazing Flames... 0

They had searched as much as they could, but it was still too late. This feeling of helplessness was truly despairing for Allen. 0

"In the future I saw, there was a lavishly decorated manor, complete with rockeries and streams..." Allen tried hard to recall the images in his memory. 0

Unfortunately, each image was fragmented, like pieces stitched together. Only something particularly special appeared so detailed and real. 0

"A giant beast engulfed in flames, a pitch-black beast, and a man clad in black armor—these three beings engaged in battle and destroyed the entire manor." 0

"The black beast... do you think it's black?" In a secluded corner, Rody couldn't help but summon his totem to confirm he wasn't mistaken. 0

The size of Black had increased several times after Evolution. It transformed from crawling on all fours to standing upright on two powerful hind legs, towering over three meters tall. 0

Its black scales gleamed even more intensely, and the bone spikes on its back looked increasingly ferocious. Its front limbs had developed sharp bone blades, completely evolving into a killing machine! 0

"That's exactly it! I went through so much trouble to find you because I saw you and this Totem Beast. I want to collaborate with you to reduce the number of innocent people who will die in this disaster." 0

Allen nodded but then asked seriously, "Rody, I want to ask if you have any special abilities after your Evolution?" 0

"Special abilities?" Rody looked puzzled and scratched his head with a silly grin. "Does getting stronger count?" 0

"Since Black's Evolution, I feel my strength has increased significantly. I've been eating several times more than before; I've almost spent all the money I earned and still feel hungry." 0

Seeing his embarrassed expression, Allen shook his head helplessly. "It doesn't matter how strong you are. A First-Level Spirit Master with a Main Totem and defensive Auxiliary Totems can stack their defensive spirit light to block ordinary attacks from an Ultimate Warrior." 0

"A Second-Level Spirit Master can stand still and let an Ultimate Warrior attack without being shaken at all—once you enter Secondary Level, you'll experience your first qualitative change. The power of defensive spirit light increases several times, completely separating you from ordinary people." 0

"A Third-Level Spirit Master can even withstand the impact of a speeding train; any attack from an ordinary person is ineffective against them!" 0

"Well then, it seems that doesn't help much," Rody shrugged helplessly, giving up hope on that front. 0

"Some gifted Spirit Masters possess terrifying unique abilities. For instance, rapid spellcasting, doubled defenses, and increased attack power. These abilities make them far stronger than ordinary Spirit Masters. However, you don't need to worry; only a handful of Spirit Masters have such powers, so it's quite normal not to have them." 0

Allen reassured him, and then the two continued their search for potential locations for the upcoming Ultimate Body Battle. 0

After they left, the wall they had been standing by suddenly crumbled into dust, and the speed of its destruction increased rapidly. 0

In the blink of an eye, a massive hole had formed in the ten-meter-high, five-meter-thick wall, with a diameter exceeding five meters! 0

"Intruders!" 0

The sharp-eyed City Guards shouted in alarm, drawing hundreds of their comrades to surround the suddenly appeared gaping hole. 0

An Officer radiating a powerful aura rushed over, his gaze stern as he stared at the enormous breach, unable to contain himself as he transformed into a roaring lion in fury. 0

"A bunch of blind fools! Idiots! Trash! You didn't notice such a huge gap! What good are you? If the entire wall were destroyed and no one knew about it, those barbarians could sneak into the city, kill your families, and violate your wives. Let's see if you'd dare to..." 0

Not far away, Xiar, clad in a silver-gray robe, passed by and looked in astonishment at the massive hole in the wall. 0

A five-meter-wide breach was enough for even the strongest warhorse to leap through. Had the Barbarians launched a surprise attack ahead of time? 0

But why hadn't there been any news at all? 0
