Xiar felt a sudden shock in his heart as the strange sound echoed in his ears, like countless whispers mingling together, reminiscent of leaves rustling and the sound of wind and waves crashing, sending a shiver down his spine.
Above the heads of the two colossal beasts, he vaguely saw peculiar threads hanging down, connecting the two massive creatures like puppets.

What was even more terrifying was that from the mottled ancient walls, thick dark green tentacles extended downward, each several meters wide.
As he gazed into the distance, he could vaguely see its entity, colossal like a peak, disappearing into the clouds and obscured from view.
Threads extended from the tentacles, covering every head below.
What made his scalp tingle was that a thread also extended down from above him, silently piercing through his Guardian Spirit Light.
Suddenly, the white fox leaped onto his shoulder, its eyes swirling with purple energy as it exerted all its mental power.
Unfortunately, it was of no use; the faint grayish-white tentacle resolutely reached toward his forehead but triggered some kind of taboo and instantly shattered.
Buzz!
An inexplicable sound echoed around them, a layer of waves invisible to the eye but vaguely perceptible to the mind swept across the entire estate.
Under this wave, threads snapped one by one and quickly ignited, transforming into fiery serpents that surged toward the ancient city above.
Roar!
From the ancient city in the sky came a strange sound that sent chills down his spine. He felt dizzy as countless complex voices echoed in his ears, louder than the busiest marketplace by countless times.
A gigantic flesh wing appeared on the city wall, blocking out the sun before vanishing without a trace in an instant, as if it had never existed at all.
The towering walls of the estate vanished, and the massive, monstrous figure disappeared as well. Strange threads dissolved into nothingness, and the peculiar mist that enveloped the entire manor dissipated.
One by one, ordinary people slowly regained their senses, screaming in terror as they tried to flee. To their horror, they discovered that the original entrance had been replaced by towering trees and vines over ten meters high, leaving them unable to find a way out.

These plant-based monsters began to attack the ordinary people indiscriminately, strangling them one by one and piercing their bodies with their roots, producing horrifying swallowing sounds.

A guard drew his dagger and severed one of the tentacles, only to see bright red blood oozing from the wound.
The creature let out a piercing scream, and several others lunged at the guard, quickly devouring him without leaving a trace of flesh behind!
"It’s completely out of control. That woman seems to have suffered the most severe shock; she can no longer control her powers," Xiar said, furrowing her brow with concern as she watched the most chaotic battlefield.
The enormous vine seemed to have consumed some potent elixir, swelling several times in size. Each vine stretched for dozens of meters, resembling writhing giant pythons that covered nearly a third of the estate.
The once-opposing massive Charizard was now thoroughly overwhelmed, completely suppressed by it. The flames it spewed forth failed to ignite the vines. Instead, while trying to evade an attack, one vine ensnared its thigh, while others swiftly wrapped around it tightly.
Roar!
The six-meter-tall Fire-Breathing Dinosaur cried out desperately, struggling with all its might, but it was futile.
The vines tightened like a constrictor snake hunting its prey, digging deep indentations into its body.
Finally, with a thunderous explosion, the giant dragon burst apart. A searing wave of fire swept across dozens of meters, consuming all the vines in its path.
Dozens of ordinary people who had been injured were also engulfed in flames, disintegrating like weathered stones!
Flames consumed everything, and even the hundreds of people huddled near the courtyard wall felt the suffocating heat. The weak among them fainted instantly, only to be pounced upon and devoured by the Plant Monsters.
Xiar held the white fox tightly, evading danger without any intention of fighting back.
He was unarmed, and Firefly was not skilled in battling such Plant Monsters. As for the lives of those people—what did it matter to him?

With casual ease, he reached out and grabbed a vine, ripping it apart with a roar as he charged into the flames:
"You filthy bastard, do you really think I'm afraid of you!"
