In the Trading Market, there stood a unique building made entirely of redwood, with a sign hanging above the entrance. 0

Directly facing the Trading Market street was merely a reception room, while inside lay a vast courtyard. 0

Within the courtyard, the roars of wild beasts echoed, mingled with the shouts of humans. 0

A White-Haired Boy, led by a server, curiously walked into the courtyard, surveying his surroundings. 0

Perched on his shoulder was a snow-white fox, its luxurious fur and lively eyes drawing considerable attention. 0

Moments later, a Black-Haired Youth emerged from a building at the back of the courtyard. His Light Blue Eyes looked down at him slightly: "Are you Xiar, the one my sister mentioned?" 0

“Master.” 0

The server quickly bowed in greeting and then quietly stood to the side. 0

"Hello, it's nice to meet you," Xiar said with a smile as he extended his hand. 0

However, the other did not seem inclined to shake hands. His somewhat frail body stood straight, his expression calm and unyielding: "The conditions proposed by Lyle were too simple; I cannot agree." 0

"Then what would you like me to do?" Xiar asked. 0

This person appeared somewhat delicate, akin to those debauched nobles lost in indulgence, yet he emanated an aura of extreme danger. 0

That feeling was even more intense than what one would experience after encountering Rody Evolution and facing the Ultimate Totem. 0

He could foresee that if the person before him intended to kill him, there would be no resistance whatsoever. 0

"Young man, let me give you a piece of advice. Many people are so inflated with confidence that they lose touch with reality. My sister and I believe you need to work hard right now, rather than being arrogant. From your current abilities, I see no reason for your confidence." 0

"I'm sorry, but I believe I can handle basic tasks." Xiar replied calmly, looking at the other person with a smile. "Mr. Bean, I need to order a Totem Beast, preferably of medium quality. If it's of high quality, that would be even better." 0

Noticing a hint of doubt in the other person's eyes, Xiar revealed a string of numbers on his wristband, approaching nine digits, which finally sparked a glimmer of surprise in the other's gaze. "Well then, what type do you need?" 0

"I need a flying type Totem Beast and a defensive type; I only seek the best," Xiar responded. 0

"Very well, follow me." 0

Xiar followed the other person through the courtyard and into a room. 0

He suddenly realized that this place was somewhat similar to the Beast Arena in Storm Harbor, with various fierce beasts caged in enclosures, each one several times more powerful than those in the arena, their ferocious presence overwhelming. 0

"I own a Totem Beast breeding facility; here, the lowest are initial-level Totem Beasts. We have just bred a high-quality Totem Beast," the black-haired youth known as Bean said, pointing to one of the cages. 0

Xiar turned his gaze over and saw an iron rod across the middle of the cage, upon which stood a half-meter tall bird. 0

"The Anos Eagle, priced at five million. A high-quality Totem Beast with an Inheritance Factor containing the legacy of the ancient fierce bird Anos Eagle. After Evolution, it can possess feathers as strong as steel and can release them as projectiles," introduced a woman dressed as a server, her tone reminiscent of a salesperson from his past life—very professional. 0

This eagle was remarkably striking; its body wasn't particularly large but exuded an undeniable charisma. 0

Its feathers stood upright, and its claws were as black as steel, producing a crisp sound when they struck the iron rod beneath it, clearly sharp enough to easily pierce bone. 0

"Alright, let's buy it then." 0

Xiar nodded without hesitation, leaving the woman beside her momentarily stunned; she hadn't expected to encounter someone so unconcerned about money. 0

She glanced at Bean, who remained indifferent, stepping toward the next cage. The woman hurriedly followed, continuing her professional introduction: "Moni Turtle, priced at 6.5 million, a medium Totem Beast, a fierce Water-Type Totem Beast with extremely strong defense." 0

It was a peculiar blue turtle with a pair of Purple Eyes and a wavy Tail trailing behind. Its limbs were all tucked inside its shell, which was deep blue on the back and yellow-brown on the underside, with faint white wave patterns where the two colors met. 0

She watched this strange customer again and saw them nod once more. "Yes, this is the one." 0

The thirty million Transaction was completed in the blink of an eye, equivalent to several Transactions in a typical day, causing her eyes to sparkle with excitement as she couldn't help but puff out her chest slightly. 0

The three of them exited from there, and Bean waved her off, speaking in a flat tone: "Do you really have to do this?" 0

"Yes, it's my choice. I believe that fighting is what will ignite my life, not remaining in obscurity," Xiar replied, her tone becoming slightly more passionate. 0

"Sigh, you remind me of myself back then—so reckless. What a pity..." Bean suddenly sighed lightly and then stopped himself. "Very well, since you've made your decision, I will agree." 0

"Understood. Go report to Building 106 at the academy in my name," Bean instructed. 0

"Thank you," Xiar said sincerely. 0

After some understanding, he realized a lot. The Enforcement Team was definitely a profession that made many Spirit Masters envious within the academy. 0

The monthly salary of 100,000 was just the base; what made it truly enviable was that all expenses for Source Crystals during missions were reimbursed, and any injuries would receive the academy's most meticulous treatment. 0

As long as one did not die on the spot, with the academy's leading-edge biological technology, even if someone lost an arm or a leg, they could recover! 0

For the vast majority, it was essentially using public funds to hone their skills. Where else could one find better benefits than this? 0

Moreover, each mission also granted far more Contribution Points than others. 0

Contribution Points, fully known as reward points for contributions made to the academy, were essentially a more tangible representation of how much one had contributed. 0

This was a precious commodity because many coveted potions, high-quality Totem Beasts, and even top-tier Rune Factories could be exchanged for Contribution Points. 0

Furthermore, once Contribution Points exceeded 10,000, one could upgrade to Level Authority, enjoying a 20% discount while shopping in the academy. With 100,000 points, one could upgrade to Level Authority and enjoy a 40% discount. 0

This authority level was not solely based on strength but rather on how much contribution one had made to the academy. This system naturally encouraged students to contribute. 0

Otherwise, if everyone were selfish and never considered the academy's interests, it would be impossible to foster unity. The academy would not have been able to reach such a scale, allowing countless individuals to willingly risk their lives for it. 0

Bean gazed blankly into space and softly said, "Back then, many people entered the Enforcement Team with me. Yet now, either they have been killed or completely left the Enforcement Team..." 0
