The space inside the Whale Ship was vast, accommodating more than a dozen people without feeling crowded.
Once inside, Xiar could clearly sense the powerful vitality of this giant beast, which was approaching the peak state of the Ultimate Evolution Body.
He reached out and pressed his hand against the dark gray skin, feeling a strong rebound. He silently estimated its defensive capabilities, which seemed to rival that of a diamond.
Behemoth swayed its tail, its streamlined body cutting through the waves as it headed toward the boundless sea, gliding smoothly. Inside, they only felt a slight rocking motion.
"Um..."
As they moved along, Erin, who was sitting next to Xiar, suddenly let out a soft sigh, pressing her hand tightly against her temple.
"What's wrong?" Xiar turned his gaze from outside and asked with concern.
"I suddenly feel a bit of a headache..."
"If you're tired, you can take a nap. I'll wake you when we arrive," Xiar said, extending his arm to let her lean against his shoulder. Erin initially wanted to resist but quickly gave up and rested her head on his shoulder, falling into a deep sleep in an instant.
So fast... Xiar listened to her soft and calm breathing, feeling both amused and helpless at how quickly she had dozed off.
He shifted his gaze back outside, looking through the transparent membrane at the vast ocean.
The sea surface was calm and undisturbed, with seabirds soaring in the sky. Occasionally, they would swoop down like kamikaze bombers, skimming over the water's surface to catch plump fish with their claws.
There were also marine creatures leaping out of the water, frolicking in the endless ocean.
Unfortunately, this beautiful and peaceful life wouldn't last long. Xiar's gaze grew distant as if he could see through time...
"Alright, it's time to wake up, lazy pig."
Feeling the movement of her body, Erin groggily opened her eyes and let out a yawn.
"Uh, it seems like you were drooling..."
Hearing the teasing voice beside her made her cheeks flush. She quickly turned her head to wipe the corner of her mouth and then changed the subject.
"Xiar, I had a dream about a group of monsters appearing and chasing some people?"
"What kind of monsters were they, and who were they chasing?" Xiar sat up straight, listening intently as she recounted her dream.
The person beside her had the ability to foresee the future, making her dreams particularly extraordinary, likely hinting at what was to come.
With his arrival, many things had begun to change, altering the detailed narratives he was familiar with; only the major events had yet to unfold.
This left him without a clear grasp of the future, making it necessary to rely on this girl beside him.
Erin also sat up straight, closed her eyes, and began to recall. She gestured with her hands, "They weren't too big, about the size of a Moon Child, like some oversized bugs... They were chasing a group of people, but I can't remember what those people looked like..."
She pressed her hands against her head in frustration. Xiar quickly reassured her, "If you can't remember, then don't worry about it. It might just be an ordinary dream."
"Yeah, maybe. After all, since coming to Morent, I haven't had a prophetic dream yet. I guess seeing those gruesome Insect totems yesterday left an impression on me." Erin lifted her head and forced a lighthearted smile.
"Let's go; it's time to head out." Xiar gently patted her shoulder, and together they followed the crowd off the Whale Ship.
The Whale Ship was docked on a large rock protruding from the water's surface, allowing their group to disembark. Meanwhile, its Tail swayed gently in the water as it waited for them to leave.
Having observed the surroundings earlier, Xiar noticed that this island was home to many enormous trees resembling Banyan Trees, with aerial roots hanging down that made the interior feel somewhat impenetrable.
A flock of seabirds settled on the treetops, and upon closer inspection, one could see figures resembling monkeys leaping and darting between the trees.
After landing on the island, the group split into several teams to begin their preliminary exploration.
Since this was a camping trip with a learning aspect, it was essential to take care of some serious business first.
The tasks were divided in detail; once the exploration concluded, some would search for food while others gathered firewood to carry out their outdoor cooking.
Xiar, Erin, and three others formed a team and set off along the western coast of the island.
"Hello, I'm Aran Black, but you can just call me Aran," introduced a boy with a youthful face. His dark green eyes were cast downwards, giving him a shy appearance.
"Hello," Xiar replied.
He seemed to be only fourteen years old, with long, deep black hair cascading over his shoulders. He looked somewhat delicate, almost like a girl, but the spiritual energy radiating from him indicated he was already a Second-Level Spirit Master.
However, Xiar felt no sense of threat from him; instead, there was an inexplicable sense of familiarity.
It seemed that this person exuded a rich natural aura, accompanied by the fragrance of flowers and the songs of birds.
With interest, he asked, "My Main Totem is the Moonlight Fox, named Firefly. What about yours?"
"The Azure Wood Bird, a very special type of Totem Beast," the boy gestured as he summoned it. A bird with azure feathers appeared, resembling a magpie.
Yet, Xiar couldn't help but think of the bluebird from the Flower Planting Family Myth—a renowned figure in its own right.
The five of them walked along the edge of the forest, laughing and occasionally stopping to examine various plants. They even captured dozens of different types of insects.
Unfortunately, the outskirts of the forest were filled with common creatures, lacking any notable features. After a brief discussion, the group decided to venture deeper into the dense woods.
Once they entered, the difficulty of navigating through the thicket caused the two accompanying girls to complain incessantly.
There was no choice; after all, this was an untouched primeval forest where flourishing trees and thick vines created an impenetrable barrier ahead.
The two girls could hardly endure the oppressive atmosphere and chose to turn back after barely walking two hundred meters. Xiar did not stop them, allowing them to return together along the same path.
Afterward, he summoned Moon Child to clear a path ahead.
Awooo!
Moon Child let out a roar, its body suddenly expanding to five meters tall, transforming into a fierce beast that effortlessly carved out a smooth pathway.
Trees crumbled under its grasp like straw, unable to withstand even a casual swipe of its claws.
