"And what is the price?" Leslie turned her gaze toward him, her face devoid of emotion, transformed into an endless void.
"You will lose your freedom and become my subordinate! If you agree, then consume this!" Xiar extended his hand in front of her, revealing a strange gray seed that floated from his palm.
The seed was shaped like a standard spindle, covered with a layer of fine gray scales, with sharp protrusions at both ends.
Leslie's large hand reached out and grabbed the seed from his hand, expressionless as she forcefully shoved it into her wound, right into the spot where her heart was!
Crack!
The sound of the seed shattering echoed as it exploded at her wound, releasing a burst of gray light...
