Chapter 97: Awakening
Upon hearing Lian Yun's response, Silver Prosperity's expression brightened, while Zhou Tong lowered his head, his body trembling slightly.

"We have more than ten complete specimens and over twenty incomplete ones. We originally planned to contribute them to the family, but if Young Master Yun needs them, I believe the family wouldn't have any objections," Huang Wenjie said casually yet proudly.
Although surprised, Lian Yun was not taken aback. He then looked at Zhou Tong.
Zhou Tong's face was dark, filled with dissatisfaction. After a long pause, he said in a deep voice, "Give us everything, including all the Spirit Cores!"
"You—" Brother Xiong and Shaohua were instantly furious.
To demand all the Spiritwood and Spirit Cores while wearing such an unsatisfied expression was utterly unreasonable in their eyes. If Lian Yun hadn't been standing in front of them, they might have already resorted to violence.
Although Huang Wenjie wasn't angry, he frowned slightly, sensing that there was more to the situation than met the eye, yet he still found it hard to accept Zhou Tong's demands.

In the past, Zhou Tong's team had indeed struggled to acquire Spiritwood, but now things were different due to the addition of Murong Ying's team.
Previously, the three teams of Zhou Tong, Murong Ying, and Jiang Ao could have cooperated but never did because they were all too clever. On the other hand, Huang Wenjie's team had entered a more central area of Fengdu and obtained relatively higher-grade Spiritwood.
Some things couldn't be measured by quantity alone. Thus, under favorable conditions for profit, Zhou Tong reluctantly agreed to Lian Yun's request.
If there were no benefits to be gained, he would never agree to Lian Yun's request, no matter what.
Huang Wenjie, Huang Xiong, and Huang Shaohua were all shocked, but Huang Xiong and Huang Shaohua both wore expressions of disbelief.
