Chapter 174: Overcoming Difficulties

At the base of the pillar were ten formations, with eight formations of Stone Golems surrounding it. Each formation consisted of one hundred Stone Golems, totaling eight hundred arranged in a square around the pillar. In front of these eight formations were two squares of Horse-Drawn Carriages arranged in rows of five, making for thirty Horse-Drawn Carriages in total.
All made of stone—Terracotta Army.
"Is this my opponent?" Lian Yun gazed with a hint of terror at the immobile Terracotta Army formations.
Yin Yang City had three major troops: Zombies, Robots, and the Terracotta Army. Although the Terracotta Army was ranked last, indicating their relative weakness, everyone knew that the Terracotta Army in Yin Yang City was mostly composed of Immortal Bodies. When Lian Yun arrived at the bottom of the Cave, the foremost Horse-Drawn Carriage was practically in front of him, and the spacing between the formations allowed Lian Yun to easily reach the central stone pillar.
"Am I supposed to attack the stone pillar?" Lian Yun wondered.
Upon closer inspection of the central stone pillar, he noticed that its color was very similar to that of a Gray Spirit Coin.
This led him to think that perhaps the million Gray Spirit Coins from his mission were meant to be obtained by knocking down the pillar or chipping away some stones from it.
However, Lian Yun took a detour and positioned himself between two humanoid formations before attacking the Terracotta Army soldiers on either side. To his surprise, all of them remained completely unmoved and were surprisingly sturdy.
In videos online, while the Terracotta Army had an Immortal Body, their physical form was not particularly strong; typically, a full-force strike from an Intermediate Monarch could shatter them. Yet now, Lian Yun was using High-Level Monarch strength against these Terracotta Army soldiers, and they did not budge at all.

The two formations of Horse-Drawn Carriages circled around in two outer rings, racing in an interwoven pattern. The eight humanoid Terracotta Army soldiers merged into one unit, completely surrounding Lian Yun within the stone pillar.
As Lian Yijian was about to strike at the Dragon Carved Stone Pillar, eight hundred humanoid Terracotta Army soldiers faced the pillar, and then nine hundred long spears shot upward in a nearly overwhelming thrust toward Lian Yun.

Though the speed of the Terracotta Army was swift, Lian Yun still had enough reaction time. After striking the stone pillar with one sword swing, Lian Yun swept aside several long spears before being pushed back a couple of steps. Then, with a leap, Lian Yun utilized Spider-Man-like agility to soar out of the Cave.
After exiting, Lian Yun's expression was quite complex.
First of all, after he attacked the stone pillar, he received a prompt indicating that he had obtained Gray Spirit Coins.
