"Is this the place, God? Is our first Subordinate Base Module going to be established in this Gorge?" Ye Kai asked.
Looking at the notebook he held in his hands, his expression was one of confusion. It was clear that he was not entirely satisfied with the location; after all, it was too close to the entrance of this Dimension, only about 45 kilometers away.
According to Ye Kai's plan, the base should ideally be situated several hundred kilometers away.
"Lord God, this location is very suitable for building a base," came the response.
He was just experiencing a bit of paranoia, and after some hesitation, he accepted it. He understood that if God deemed this place appropriate, there must be a reason behind it. So he asked again, "What should I do next?"
After a buzzing sound, the System's distinctive electronic synthesized voice echoed again: "Throw the Subordinate Base Module you are holding into the Gorge."
Ye Kai rolled his eyes. The intelligence and emotional quotient of this God were still lacking. When would he be able to act like a normal person?
Reluctantly, he tossed the cube into the air and then stared intently at the Screen. "Deploy the base immediately!"
The electronic voice repeated: "Yes! Lord God has confirmed, deploying base!"
"The current System energy reserve is at 1.7%. Deploying the first subordinate base in the divine realm requires an energy consumption of 0.5%. Energy is sufficient; deployment is allowed!"
As soon as the voice finished speaking, Ye Kai saw a dazzling white light erupt from within the Gorge, illuminating it so brightly that every detail was visible.
The cube had originally been floating just above the ground, but as the light shone forth, it suddenly melted away like liquid and spread out across the ground.
At that moment, it resembled a square can pouring out metallic liquid; despite being only palm-sized, the liquid poured out rapidly filled the entire floor of the Gorge.
Gradually, the brightness dimmed and became less blinding.
In the distance, it was faintly visible that the land here had completely transformed into a solid sheet of metal, smooth and flat without a single gap, as if it had been poured from an enormous mold.
Suddenly, a surge of electricity crackled across the vast metallic carpet, racing along the edges with a loud clatter, as if welding this iron plate to the ground.
Ye Kai, much like when he used to sit in a cinema watching Transformers, was filled with excitement as he spread his arms wide towards the metal sheet. With a snap of his fingers, he declared, "Now comes the moment to witness a miracle!"
Just as his words fell, the shimmering silver metal carpet seemed to boil, bulging with large bubbles that suddenly cooled down.
Before he could ponder what was happening, he saw countless cooling bubbles surrounding a center that suddenly lit up with a purplish-red glow, which slowly spread across the entire Gorge.
Then, the entire metal carpet began to rise as if it had consumed a Complete Restoration Pill. The bubbles gradually morphed, and one by one, gigantic structures began to rise from the ground, making their grand appearance.
Ye Kai stared in awe as this colossal entity took shape before him, feeling an overwhelming shock in his heart.
He had never imagined that establishing an auxiliary base could be so… so ‘sci-fi’!
Once the Gorge was completely enveloped, the massive structure continued to ascend. Above it, countless enormous mechanical arms extended and began to work in an orderly fashion, rapidly operating according to some programmed sequence.
As the giant building was fully constructed, those massive mechanical arms slowly disassembled into various components. At the top, they either dissolved into the structure itself or transformed into menacingly large cannons.
Ye Kai was utterly stunned; perhaps he had completely lost his mind.
It took him a full three minutes to regain his composure with a wry smile. Why hadn’t he thought of such an explosive base earlier?
If only it had been completed sooner… Wait a minute! The System had almost gone into shutdown mode due to insufficient energy earlier!
Shaking his head vigorously, he gritted his teeth and silently vowed that from now on, anyone who offended him would face dire consequences. He would unleash a 'violent army' and become the ultimate weapon dealer in the vast universe.
“Pfft! I am the Supreme Deity, what kind of merchant nonsense is this!”
Ye Kai spat a few times, finally regaining his composure as he carefully examined the base before him.
It was over 100 meters long, 10 meters wide, and stood at a height of 20 meters. Its exterior was covered with fearsome, interlocking canine-shaped gun turrets. Strangely enough, despite its menacing appearance, the structure exuded a sense of beauty.
This was truly a perfect embodiment of the concept of violent aesthetics!
With machine guns every five steps and cannons every ten steps, it was indeed a veritable Iron Fortress.
The surface was clad in terrifyingly thick steel armor, with machine gun ports designed for stationed soldiers every two meters, resembling a steel stronghold. At the very top was a massive radar that continuously rotated, scanning for potential enemies.
“What an astonishing masterpiece!”
Ye Kai exclaimed with excitement, reaching out to touch the cold steel wall. Then he asked, “God, what is the current status of our energy reserves? Do these gun ports require energy or ammunition for simultaneous firing?”
“Lord God, the construction of the divine realm's auxiliary base is complete. Currently, energy reserves are at 1%. Firing all gun ports at once will consume 5 standard units of energy, while the Main Cannon alone requires one Standard Energy Unit.”
“One, ten, hundred, thousand…”
After counting for a moment, Ye Kai suddenly realized that 100% of the energy would roughly equate to 100,000 standard units.
Hmm! How strange!
As this thought crossed his mind, he suddenly recalled a pressing question: throughout his journey here, he had hardly encountered any large animals; even mosquitoes the size of fists were only a handful.
“God, where are the dinosaurs? What happened to other creatures? Why have they all disappeared?”
Ye Kai was puzzled. Throughout his journey, he had been so focused on the excitement of establishing a base that he completely overlooked everything unreasonable around him.
"Prioritizing the safety of Lord God, the System has released a small amount of Neurotoxin and a strong magnetic field through the Multifunctional Detector, driving away all large beasts within a radius of one kilometer from the center of the base."
What a surprise!
He never expected that an Intelligent System would consider his well-being to such an extent, actively driving away all the large beasts to ensure his safety...

Not to mention that his supplies had already run out; he was down to just 100 Standard Energy Units. While that might seem like a lot, it was actually far too little!
It seemed he really needed to reconsider whether it was time to enter the Biochemical Dimension to gather some resources and energy.
Suddenly, Ye Kai furrowed his brow, stroking his chin with his right hand, and asked urgently, "By the way, isn't there still The Rise of the Wolf Clan in the Night and that Captain America two Dimensions? Can I choose one to enter now?"
"You can enter any known Dimension, but please choose wisely."
"System Alert: Both The Rise of the Wolf Clan in the Night and Captain America are classified as high-risk worlds within the Low-Level Fantasy Dimension. Please ensure you are fully prepared beforehand."
This was giving him a headache!
Which one should he choose?
After some thought, Ye Kai finally made a decision. He would take a good rest and enjoy some delicious roasted Dragon Meat.
