Lace Ginel was furious; she had never encountered such an ungentlemanly human male before. "Oh, for heaven's sake, why did you freeze me? Don't you know that our Snow Bear clan isn't afraid of the cold at all?"
Hearing the high-pitched complaints, Ye Kai felt a wave of frustration wash over him. But upon seeing the frozen creature before him, he clutched his chest in disbelief and muttered, "My goodness, how hideous!"
This... well, let's just call it a female creature for now!
What kind of confidence did this female creature have to wander around so openly? Didn't she fear being captured for dissection?
Ye Kai felt the Foolish Fish beneath his feet stir slightly, and then a voice filled with flattery chimed in, "Oh, my most noble master, could you please ask that human to be gentler? You know, Gigi Kuji hasn't had a girlfriend in a hundred years..."

Taking a deep breath, he barely suppressed his anger, weighing the heavy iron rod in his hands as he menaced, “If you dare to keep babbling, prepare to spend the rest of your lives locked in a cage over a cesspool.”
“Oh-oh, Lace, my dearest darling!”
“Oh-oh, Gigi, my most beloved Hani!”
Ye Kai instinctively took a few steps back, clutching his chest with a dramatic expression on his face. Weakly addressing Ye Yi and Ye Er, he said, “You two help me out here; I need to collect myself. I seem to have forgotten something…”
“Oh, my dear Lace, do you know? When I went for a walk a few days ago, I found a very beautiful crystal. I think only someone as noble and splendid as you deserves to use it!”
“Oh, where?”
