“What?”
“Mind Control?”
Ye Kai exclaimed in surprise. Although he had never possessed an Ability before, it did not hinder his research and understanding of the subject.
‘Mind Control’ was clearly a very powerful Ability, and it seemed to be a combination of mental and psychic powers.
This ‘mind’ Ability was likely related to ‘Mental Power’ and consciousness, encompassing abilities such as ‘photographic memory,’ ‘hypnosis,’ ‘emotional control,’ and ‘dream manipulation.’
The ‘psychic’ aspect was more intriguing; it probably related to Psychokinesis and beliefs.
Control was a simple and understandable term, yet it left Ye Kai almost stunned.
Could he really possess such a complex and powerful Ability?
Not just something as simple as Psychokinesis?
Indeed, the deity immediately explained, “Lord God, ‘Mind Control’ is a composite super ability. It is a mutation formed by the ‘mental manipulation’ and ‘psychic manipulation’ induced by the Super Energy Crystal…”
“Whew!”
Ye Kai let out a long breath. Finally, he had an Ability, and it was quite formidable. As long as he trained diligently, his future achievements would be immeasurable.
However, considering that the human brain is incredibly complex, composed of over hundreds of billions of cells, its operational mechanisms are so intricate that no numerical representation can encompass them.
Although humans use only 5% to 10% of their brains, the potential development of the brain is less than 5%, with many people not even reaching that percentage…
If that were truly the case, then how much potential had he actually reached?

After all, for all intelligent beings, 'immortality' has always been an irresistible temptation.

All that remained was a calm silence.
Perhaps he had already prepared himself for this aspect long ago!
After a soft sigh, Ye Kai suddenly smiled. He felt that there was no need to dwell on these matters any longer; what he truly wanted to know was just how powerful his Ability could be.
With this determination, he began experimenting in the laboratory using a scalpel and a hook, imagining the scalpel moving on its own.
According to the depiction in the movie of Andrew and his companions using their Abilities, whether it was manipulating objects, flying, or rendering themselves bulletproof, it all relied on imagination.
And imagination, in simpler terms, was willpower.
At first, this vague feeling was akin to a blind person trying to touch an elephant. The scalpel remained firmly in place, unresponsive no matter how hard he imagined it moving.
Moreover, due to his lack of focus and his wandering thoughts, he often lost track of his intent.
After a while, just as Ye Kai began to feel a bit restless, he unknowingly became more focused. Finally, he saw the scalpel that had been quietly resting beside him suddenly move slightly.

Feeling as if four scalpels were darting around him like playful fish, shimmering with silver light, this development in Psychokinesis finally seemed promising. As long as he continued to practice, flying would no longer be a dream.
"Ugh!" Suddenly, it felt as though someone had pricked his head with a needle; it hurt a little, but there was no noticeable bleeding like what happened to Andrew in the movie.
"It seems that Matt from the movie was right. This Ability related to telekinesis is like muscle; if overused, it can lead to adverse reactions."
"But if kept within limits, there shouldn't be any issues. Moreover, as one becomes more skilled at using it, the focus required for this intent will also increase."
"No wonder by the latter half of the film, that edgy teenager Andrew could let the camera float in mid-air while chatting and eating with his friends without any impact."
With this thought in mind, Ye Kai willed the scalpel that had been darting around him to suddenly shoot forward with great speed. It struck a large broken rock with two sharp clangs before bouncing away.
After estimating the distance, Ye Kai focused his thoughts once more, and the four surgical knives that had been flung away began to hover in the air and move around again.
