"Who dares to cause trouble in the Ye Family!?"
Suddenly, a towering man nearly two meters tall came rushing in, shouting, "Give me..."
"Hiss!!!"
Before he could finish his sentence, Ye Fang was already startled and shocked, his strides coming to an abrupt halt.
Looking at the somewhat familiar figure and face, a young man who bore a faint resemblance to his third brother, an invisible chill surged from his tailbone straight to the top of his head.

"Oh! Isn't this our Fourth Young Master Ye Kai?" At that moment, a voice filled with disdain suddenly rang out. Following that, Ye Lai approached with an expression of smug satisfaction.
However, his gaze merely swept over the large pit beside Ye Kai, and he immediately lost his smile.
"Where is it? Where is it?"

Ye Kai was gasping for breath, each inhale sounding like a bellows. But upon hearing someone call his name, his dark Dual Eyes blinked slowly before he gradually straightened up.
A gentle breeze blew from him in all directions, ruffling his hair and stirring up dust that floated away into the distance.

After catching his breath for a moment, he suddenly tilted his head. His fingers gently wiped away the tears on his cheeks. After glancing at them, he lightly placed them in his mouth and murmured, "Hmm! A bit bitter, a bit salty. Am I... crying?"
"Ye Kai, how did you end up here? Weren't you supposed to be dead?"
"Ye... Fourth Brother, why haven't you contacted home for such a long time? What on earth happened... Wait! Is that Ye Erdong? How did he end up looking like that?"
