“Creak!!!”
The sound of rubber tires screeching against the pavement immediately drew the attention of everyone on the street.
Ye Kai jumped out of the car and rushed straight into the antique shop.
“Mr. Jon, what brings you here?”
Agent Melissa looked at Ye Kai, who had burst in, with surprise.
It was no wonder that the elderly woman, who was already in her sixties, was astonished. If you randomly asked someone on the street who the most famous person of this time was, they would undoubtedly respond with Ye Kai’s alias, ‘Jon.’
“Melissa, I need to go in. There’s something extremely important in the lab that I must check on.”

Carter's expression changed slightly. She knew what Ye Kai was like, but upon hearing that he had barged in here, she still felt a throbbing pain at her temples.
Wasn't this clearly telling others that there was a secret research base here?
If agents from Hydra or other countries discovered it, what would happen then?
But she couldn't stop him.

They had long learned about Dr. Jon's theoretical knowledge through former classmates and friends, uncovering endless mysteries that felt like a treasure trove opening its doors to them.
Thus, almost everyone concluded that Dr. Jon was undoubtedly the most talented, the smartest, and the most qualified person to serve as anyone's mentor—a true knowledgeable individual.
Despite his youth, being less than half their age, he had caused a dramatic shift in the world's landscape, something only a son of the gods could achieve.
He began to excitedly explain the source of his inspiration and even the operational principles and manufacturing methods of the time machine.
"Um!"
Ye Kai showed a flicker of interest. Although he had received all the data about this machine, he found it impossible to replicate it because it was unique.
Though he couldn't understand why it was unique, if that was the case, then he would have to 'steal' it.
"So you mean to say that by using high-frequency oscillations and energy collisions to trigger the special properties of spacetime's four-dimensional attributes, we can open a wormhole and then use massive energy to maintain its operation for the purpose of time travel?!"
"Exactly! I knew Dr. Jon would understand!"
Dr. Frank Reno's face flushed with excitement as endless brilliance shone from his eyes. Not just him; nearly all the scientists present were trembling with excitement.
“Dr. Jon, do you think my machine can achieve that level of wormhole traversal?”
Ye Kai was genuinely amazed. These brilliant scientists only needed a little hint, a spark of inspiration, to create astonishing masterpieces.
He then revealed a sincere smile. “Frank Lino, Ph.D., I believe your inspiration and knowledge are top-notch. The machine you’ve created seems to have a fifty percent chance of success in my eyes.”
“Wow!”
Everyone was excited. Based on their judgments and guesses, the likelihood of success was less than twenty percent, especially since this was their first attempt. They had never considered that it might succeed on the first try.
Scientific experiments must be rigorous, grounded, and rational.
Thus, they believed that as long as they had a goal and conducted several experiments, they would surely address any shortcomings.
But now, one of the most admired Ph.D.s among them claimed that the principles and operational possibilities of this machine stood at fifty percent?!
How could that not leave them ecstatic?
However, being researchers, after their initial excitement, they immediately wanted to try to activate the machine. They needed to see the specific experimental data since it was still not fully refined.
As everyone busied themselves, Ye Kai wore a peculiar smile as he gazed at the machine.
