The lunch break had just passed.
The Valron Wizard Academy, located in the Underground World, once again returned to an unusual tranquility. A faint gray halo enveloped the entire academy, a mark resembling a defensive barrier made of Spirit Light.
At that moment, a vast and unmatched force of distortion erupted above the academy, comparable to the size of a city.
Terrifying spatial fluctuations caused the defensive barrier above the academy to radiate blinding white light, as if something at the center of the distortion was trying to expand and escape.
Minutes later...
A beam of ghostly blue light tore through space, brushing past the academy's defensive barrier and shooting off into the distance.
"Is this your academy?"
This place clearly resembled a Western fantasy or magical world, right?
Ye Kai sat at the dining table, gazing at the distinctly Gothic-style architecture below, furrowing his brow again as he asked, "Is there really no one in the academy below? Why is no one coming out to check with all this commotion?"
Cydis and Tald, who had already regained their human forms, exchanged bewildered glances.
Finally, Tald spoke up with a wry smile, "Lord God, we’re not quite sure either. I’m just responsible for guarding one side of the passage, and Cydis hasn’t been back for at least several decades."
Hearing this, Ye Kai shot an annoyed glance at the two before turning to several respectful young men nearby and asking, "Cliff, what do you think?"
Cliff belonged to one of the most prestigious families among the elves, being a member of the Diana Family and also its young leader.
However, he wasn’t very familiar with this Wizard Academy; he only knew that they were supposed to find Mr. Todd and enter the Wizard Academy through the Spatial Channel. Beyond that, he was unsure.
But aside from him, the other four knew why. Thus, Avel, a beautiful girl among them, immediately chimed in cheerfully, "Lord God, actually what we see here is not real; it’s an illusion."
As she reached this point, she suddenly hesitated, her expression strange as she said, "I feel like the entire Wizard Academy has already been alerted. Perhaps everyone is watching us!"
"Ha!"
Ye Kai chuckled lightly, momentarily forgetting that this was a world dominated by wizards. He immediately spoke up, "WIKI, test this defensive barrier right away and see how long it takes to break through."
"Understood, Lord God!" WIKI replied promptly.
"What about me? When can I start playing..." At that moment, the deity sitting next to Ye Kai, happily enjoying a steak, overheard and immediately protested, waving her silver fork.
Seeing the Girl nearly slip and say 'play a game,' Ye Kai couldn't help but chuckle as he picked up a napkin to wipe her greasy face. "You just stay put for now. Once the others bring out the complete wizard system data, we can rely on our most adorable deity to take action. Otherwise, no one will be able to tell what's real and what's fake!"
"Oh! Actually, actually what the deity means is that too!" The deity blinked her big eyes, looking somewhat guilty.
"Mm!" Ye Kai responded with a nasal sound. After swallowing his bite of steak, he smiled and said, "So the deity is being the most obedient. Hurry up and eat."
He found it quite strange that the deity had such a fondness for meat. She would occasionally nibble on fruit but would push vegetables aside with a look of disdain.
However, watching the Girl devour her food with delight made his mood shift in a peculiar way, almost as if he were looking at his own daughter, filled with deep affection.
Whenever such emotions arose, he silently shed tears in his heart.
The reality was that all along, it had been the deity taking care of him. Without her, he would have rotted away in some forgotten corner long ago!
"Lord God, the target's defensive strength has been calculated. Should we proceed immediately with the 'Civilization Guidance and Inheritance' mission?" A few minutes later, WIKI spoke up again.
Seeing this entity not only interrupting his meal but also encroaching on his 'work,' the deity's eyes instantly filled with hostility. She revealed a set of white tiger teeth and bit down hard on a piece of steak. WIKI's projected face once again showed signs of distortion and fluctuation as it changed its tone to one of flattery: "Lord God, the target's defensive strength has been calculated. May I ask if we should proceed immediately with the 'Civilization Guidance and Inheritance' plan formulated by Deputy Commander?"
Ye Kai was already accustomed to this scene. He elegantly forked another piece of steak into his mouth and chewed lightly before slowly responding, "Then let's get started. The sooner we complete this plan, the sooner we can go find that treasure!"
“Boom Boom Boom!”
The Calamity descended, and the terrifying Azure Blue Beam swept through this ruined world like the thunder of a Deity.
At the Valron Wizard Academy, everyone was stunned by the scene before them.
“What is happening?”
“How can there be so many ships descending?”
“Quick, call the Director…”
“But this is the rear of the spatial battlefield; how could we possibly be attacked here!”
“Are we going to die?”
“I’m not even an adult yet!”

They could hardly remember the last time they encountered such a situation. After all, the Valron Wizard Academy was located on the outskirts of Dungeon, a city where countless races coexisted, and it was considered one of the safest havens in the Underground World.
Yet now, the entire academy was enveloped in an extremely oppressive atmosphere, with beams of light continuously striking the barrier above the academy, which had stood for thousands of years.
Although it had not yet been breached, the surging terrifying power and the ever-gathering Energy Fluctuation made everyone’s hearts race with fear.
“Boom!!!”
Suddenly, a massive Eerie Blue Beam struck down, shaking the entire academy violently. The void trembled as a pure white pillar of light shot up from each of the five major areas of the academy, supporting the barrier.
Yet even so, instead of feeling any relief, the people within the academy looked even more panicked.
One by one, they raised their heads in fear, gazing at the vast beams of light and the flying ships. Looking back at the unstable barrier of the Symbol Civilization, even the director, Manod, had turned pale.
At this moment, the academy's main forces had already embarked on their annual Trainee trials, leaving the top combatants to protect the future of the academy.
Now, with only three sixth-level wizards and himself, a Seventh-Level Wizard, it was absolutely impossible to withstand so many terrifying ships. What were they to do?
The four stood together in silence.
If they could activate the teleportation array to traverse the void at that moment, they would have done so without hesitation. But now, the entire academy's barrier had been thoroughly shaken; there was simply no way out.
“Boom!!!”
As the last massive Azure Blue Beam struck down, Valron, a Wizard Academy with thousands of years of history, revealed its true nature in that instant.
At the moment the barrier shattered, a terrifying Shockwave radiated outward from the academy in all directions.
“We're really finished this time!” Manod exclaimed as he watched his three old friends slowly raise their staffs. He quickly stepped forward to stop them, shaking his head with a bitter smile. “Don't make a futile sacrifice; each of you take some Trainees and use your last resources!”
Just then, a gigantic projection appeared in the sky: “Listen below, immediately hand over at least ten different types of wizard system data. Remember, you only have ten minutes.”
Ye Kai held a glass of red wine and spoke calmly. “If it exceeds ten minutes, you won’t need to bother; I believe I can retrieve it myself.”
Manod signaled his old friends not to act impulsively. As long as there was something to negotiate, everything would be fine. He immediately soared into the air and said solemnly, “Respected powerful one, your demands are too harsh. We cannot provide that much nor do we possess data on so many different wizard systems.”
Though he didn’t understand what ‘system’ meant, from its literal meaning, it might refer to various series or perhaps a lineage within the same race?
“You have no right to negotiate terms.”
Pointing a finger, Ye Kai said indifferently, “Treasure this; you still have nine minutes left.”
“You!!!” Noma trembled with rage.
If it weren't for the fact that most of the power in the Trainee group had already gone out, and if they hadn't taken away a large number of warships that were ten times more powerful than ordinary spaceships, how could I possibly be bullied like this?
"Hey, you! Why are you so annoying? If it weren't for Lord God being soft-hearted, you would have long been turned into test subjects for the Academy," a voice suddenly echoed from the air.
Looking at her soft and delicate figure, no matter how angry she seemed, it only made her appear incredibly cute, rendering any intimidation ineffective.
Ye Kai twitched his mouth. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of the girl; she was indeed no longer standing still. But what was she up to now?
Could it be that this girl was plotting something again?
Sure enough, at that moment, she put on a fierce expression and spoke in a babyish voice, "Don't think God doesn't know. Your library has over a hundred thousand books! Hmph! You’ve made God angry; you're going to be in trouble."
I can't believe this!
With that tone, who could possibly take her seriously?
Ye Kai looked at her haughty demeanor with helplessness. He wasn't worried about her encountering danger; he just couldn't figure out what she was trying to do. The more he looked, the less he understood.
