"What on earth is this place?"
Ye Kai was already losing his patience. Anyone would feel annoyed after staring at the same scenery for two whole days, especially in this Underground World, which was truly maddening.
Before his eyes lay endless gray mist, along with heaps of bizarre creatures—tattered Zombies, skeletal frames, and the grotesque Sewing Monsters covered in limbs.
Yet, he could no longer spot a single Ghost Ship or any sign of danger, which left Ye Kai feeling extremely frustrated.
Suddenly, WIKI appeared: "Lord God, an anomaly has been detected one hundred kilometers ahead!"
"Really?"
Ye Kai perked up; he was so bored he was nearly falling asleep.
"However, WIKI advises Lord God not to approach that area lightly, as it has already swallowed seventeen aircraft!"
Swallowed?
He glanced at WIKI in confusion and then turned to see the astonished expression on Shen as he held a cake. Ye Kai immediately said, "Then let's halt all advances and display the footage!"
A massive whirlpool?
A super whirlpool with a diameter of about ten kilometers appeared ahead, continuously devouring the surrounding gray mist.
Good thing they hadn't moved closer; if they had gotten too near, their Hope would surely be in jeopardy!
Ye Kai stroked his chin. Should he launch a few missiles to test the waters?
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The moment three missiles flew into the whirlpool, they exploded into a massive fireball, looking far more powerful than usual—like a grand fireworks display!
However, at that moment, the vortex seemed to be disrupted as if hit by a missile, vibrating and growing increasingly intense over time.
Suddenly, cracks in space appeared above the vortex, resembling a spider's web. The gray mist below bubbled violently, with large amounts of earth and stone rolling amidst the fog.
"Ah, what a powerful energy reaction!"
Shen screamed in panic, "Ah, it's coming out! Lord God, hurry, we need to get out... that guy is not something we can handle..."
"What?"
Ye Kai seemed taken aback, confused.
"Run! That guy... I can't fight him! Hurry up!" Shen's face was filled with urgency.
What the hell!
Is it really that terrifying?
We could just return to another Dimension!
To be honest, Ye Kai was stunned.
He had never imagined that Shen would be this panicked.
But he quickly realized the gravity of the situation. As they retreated at full speed, the massive misty vortex completely collapsed inward, while the densely packed cracks in space began to peel away one by one.
"What the hell is this monstrous thing?" Ye Kai exclaimed in horror.
"Boom!!!"
Even from such a distance, he could sense the chilling aura emanating from that place, and suddenly, under an invisible force, the space shattered and quickly vanished completely.
From the original misty whirlpool, countless thick roots sprouted, revealing a massive stone door.
This stone door measured over three thousand meters in both height and width, appearing as if much of it was hidden in an unknown realm. Intricate and bizarre patterns were carved into its surface, and faintly, one could hear countless wails and roars echoing from it.
At this moment, the strange patterns seemed to absorb some kind of energy, struggling to emerge. In an instant, the entire stone door began to twist, exuding a terrifying aura.
"Creak!"
Thick black smoke laced with sparks began to seep from the stone slab, accompanied by a sound that sent chills down one's spine, reminiscent of a rusted iron door being forcefully pushed open.
In the center of the stone door, a narrow crack appeared and continued to widen, growing larger by the moment. From within that crack, the black smoke thickened and billowed outward.
"Whoosh whoosh..."
Intense gasping sounds echoed like a bellows in the air.
"This is... the Demon Gate of the Wizarding World..."
The deity suddenly grabbed Ye Kai's hand, shaking it anxiously. "Lord God, we need to leave this world immediately! Hurry!"
Ye Kai looked seriously at the Girl and said in a deep voice, "Alright, let's go!"
In those final moments before leaving, he widened his eyes and carefully watched as the enormous stone door fully opened. A claw large enough to toy with Hope reached out and smashed dozens of Multifunctional Detectors in one swipe.
Then, monstrous shadows with grotesque features surged forth in an instant.
These were all hideous creatures, emaciated demons with horns, sharp claws, and long tails tipped with glimmering spikes.
There were some creatures enveloped in swirling black smoke, ready to spew sparks of fire from their mouths—Lava Demons.
“Roar…”
Each emitted a fierce roar, their excitement completely unmasked. Even though they belonged to different races, Ye Kai could easily discern this feeling.
Ye Kai could barely recognize a few monsters, but the emaciated figure with a belly as round as a drum was undoubtedly the legendary Hungry Ghost. The one with an elongated tongue, a face mottled in purple, and bulging blue veins all over was likely the Hanging Water.
Then there was the creature that left puddles wherever it went; that must be the so-called Water Ghost.
Additionally, there was the headless Headless Ghost and the ferocious Yasha Demon…
The scene was simply breathtaking!
However, what puzzled and terrified Ye Kai the most was the wildly flailing arm; just that claw alone could toy with Hope as if it were a mere plaything.
One could only imagine how enormous and terrifying this creature would be if fully revealed.
He didn’t quite understand why this world not only had demons appearing but also so many ancient mythical creatures from Chinese folklore. Just witnessing this parade of ghosts made him feel like he was about to kneel in submission.
Not to mention those massive Mountain Spirits looming nearby.
“You guys… I can’t take on that big guy, but am I supposed to be afraid of you minions?!”
Just when Ye Kai thought everything was normal, a divine presence erupted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on: “Get out of my way!!!”
“Puff!”
A cloud of black smoke exploded in the Command Room, revealing a figure draped in a Crimson Cloak and wearing a top hat—much like the Vampire Count portrayed in movies and television.
He had the same pitch-black pupils, but his skin was as pale as if he had no trace of humanity, exuding a chilling and eerie aura.
"Honorable strong one, Blood Count Nicholas Heimel Drankrik, I pay my respects!!!"
Looking at this fellow who seemed to embody the true essence of nobility, Ye Kai felt a shiver run down his spine, for when this guy smiled, he clearly saw those two sharp fangs.
"I don't care who you are; all I know is that I'm really angry right now, and you're in trouble!"
In those large eyes, filled with flames of fury, Shen shouted sharply, "Light!!!"
"Buzz!"
In an instant, a beam of light suddenly appeared, trapping the blood clan count within it.
"Honorable strong one, please don't misunderstand. I truly mean no harm; I just want to leave here. Please forgive me..."
"Ahhh!!!"
"Please, honorable strong one, I really have no ill intentions..."
"No..."
