With a dull thud, the pool suddenly rose from the ground. However, at that moment, a Spirit Light burst forth from the broken earth, startling Ye Kai.
In the blink of an eye, the Spirit Light shot out of the secret chamber and raced down the corridor.
"Trying to escape?!"
Ye Kai smirked and paid it no mind; instead, he quickened his speed to draw the Jade Pool into his Azure Gourd.
He was very confident. Even if this thing possessed extraordinary spirituality, even if it resembled the Nascent Soul of a fallen Powerful Being or a fragment of Primordial Spirit, Ye Kai truly did not fear its escape.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
As expected, after a series of explosive sounds, beams of laser light forced that Spirit Light back.
Calmly, he took out a jade bottle once more, aimed the mouth at the Spirit Light that was about to enter the secret chamber, and cast a Spell Formula. Suddenly, a powerful suction force appeared out of nowhere.

Even though it was firmly wrapped by the suction of the jade bottle, this entity was still struggling fiercely against it. This made Ye Kai somewhat impatient. Ye Kai sneered as he took out two talismans to seal the mouth of the bottle before tossing it into the Azure Gourd.
This was merely an interlude; what truly captured his attention was the pile of Silk Cocoons at the other end of the secret chamber. Some had already lost their Radiance and had been buried here for who knows how many years. All their spirituality had completely drained away; perhaps a gentle touch would turn them to dust.
Of course, there were also those shimmering with golden and silver light, clearly high-quality Golden Silk rich in Spiritual Energy.
They were stacked layer upon layer at one end, possibly accumulated over many years. It was hard to tell just how long they had been buried in this place.

Perhaps sensing his presence, the worm's already lackluster appearance became even more peculiar. Its transparent body was marred by blackish-gray spots, giving it an increasingly moribund look.
As he approached, he discovered that the area around the worm was filled with dark gray ashes, interspersed with stones resembling gravel.
Curiosity piqued, Ye Kai immediately reached out to touch the transparent worm but quickly gasped in shock, retracting his finger and staring at his hand in horror.
"Crack!"
Just a light touch had caused a layer of frost to form on his fingertip.
A faint yet exceptionally cold aura began to spread from his finger to his palm.
"Ice Silkworm!!!"
Ye Kai stared intently at the faintly glowing Ice Silkworm, a mix of surprise and joy flooding through him. This creature was clearly still a larva; otherwise, it wouldn't possess such limited power. If it were an adult, it could freeze his entire arm in an instant.
At present, however, only a thin layer of frost covered his fingertip, and the coldness was so weak that it dissipated with just a surge of his magical energy.
Seeing the Ice Silkworm's aura grow fainter and the blackish-gray spots on its body becoming denser, Ye Kai quickly took out a jade vial containing Frost Spirit Essence and gently poured a drop onto the Ice Silkworm.
"Shh!"
With a sound like a hot iron being plunged into ice water, the Ice Silkworm, which had been on the verge of death and motionless, suddenly transformed. Its upper body shot up, emitting a series of delicate chirps.
Seeing that it was effective, Ye Kai quickly dripped a few more drops. He soon noticed that the Ice Silkworm's breath had indeed stabilized, and the gray-black spots on its body began to visibly decrease at an astonishing speed.
After pouring nearly a cup of Frost Spirit Essence, the creature finally began to come to life. It lifted its pure, flawless, and plump body, continuously chirping excitedly at Ye Kai.
Thinking for a moment, Ye Kai realized he didn’t have anything like an ice jade box to contain the Ice Silkworm. He simply turned the bottle's opening toward it to see if it would crawl inside.
Before he could react, the Ice Silkworm became agitated and let out a long scream as it collided with the bottle's opening. The impact, clearly disproportionate to its size, nearly caused Ye Kai to drop the jade bottle.
Amused yet exasperated by the frantic Ice Silkworm, Ye Kai channeled his magic and immediately enlarged the bottle's opening. In the blink of an eye, the Ice Silkworm joyfully squealed and dove right in without needing any encouragement.
Suddenly, just as he was about to put away the jade bottle, he saw the Ice Silkworm pop its upper half out. After spinning its head around, it blinked at him, slightly arched its body, and opened its mouth to release a thread of icy crystal light.
However, after about a meter in length, the Ice Silkworm seemed to weaken and broke off the light thread before diving back into the jade bottle.
Staring blankly at this scene, Ye Kai had words on his lips but didn’t know what to say; this creature’s intelligence exceeded his expectations entirely.
After waiting for a moment and seeing no further unusual behavior, he waved his hand and stored away the mountain of Golden Silk.
Once again surveying the secret chamber, he clapped his hands in satisfaction. Although he hadn’t found the eight-hundred-year-old Crimson Fruit, this single near-death Ice Silkworm was already worth the effort.
If he added another sixty or seventy of the Golden Devouring Spiders, it would instantly fill Ye Kai's heart with immense joy.
For a moment, he forgot to move, merely murmuring to himself, "Golden Devouring Spider, Ice Silkworm, these two creatures that counter each other yet have some symbiotic traits are truly fascinating!"
However, he soon snapped back to reality, a glint of icy coldness flashing in his eyes.
As expected, someone was breaking through his Restriction. Although Ye Kai did not leave immediately, he instead instructed the numerous Nanorobots to carefully search the chamber once more.
His own White Crane Robe, while more ornate and significantly stronger in defense than the standard version, still did not meet his standards; it paled in comparison to his specially crafted Holy Rune Armor.
Now, if he could mix the silk from the Golden Devouring Spider and the Ice Silkworm into it, he could rectify the flaws of the White Crane Robe, transforming it into a truly powerful top-tier artifact.
With WIKI at his disposal and a wealth of experimental data and foundations, creating an even better robe was merely a matter of time.
However, having only one Ice Silkworm was clearly insufficient!
If he had to wait for that Ice Silkworm to mature, spin silk again, and even lay eggs for hatching, it would take at least several decades!

Moments later, an unusual sight appeared on the surface: a layer of shimmering green stone. The speed at which the Nanorobots consumed it had clearly diminished to a negligible level, raising Ye Kai's suspicions.
After pondering for a moment, he suddenly stomped his foot hard. As his foot touched the ground, circular waves of magical energy spread out like ripples, crashing against the walls and quickly bouncing back, intertwining with the subsequent waves and causing the entire chamber to tremble violently.
After a while, the vibrations ceased. He waved his sleeve, and the Crane Song Sword transformed into a brilliant beam of sword light, cleaving towards the already cracked green stone.
With a thunderous roar, a loud and muffled explosion erupted, sending stone fragments flying. Ye Kai waved his sleeve again, and a gentle breeze swept through, stirring up clouds of dust. Before him appeared a two-meter-square Black Hole Entrance filled with numerous Nano Flying Insects. He had no intention of taking any risks; instead, he focused intently on the three-dimensional projection that popped up on his wrist.
After considering it again, he threw in several spheres emitting intense white light. In an instant, the entire space beneath the pit was illuminated as bright as day.
