"Think of something quickly! I don't want to die here!"
Lu Jiu was the first to crack under pressure. Although he had been cultivating for over thirty thousand years, it meant nothing to his Bloodline. With a swift motion, he struck out with a hand chop, shattering a stream of gray energy that had dwindled to one-third of its original size.
Wolf Cypress was equally terrified, his face pale as he chimed in, "Boss, if you have a plan, don't keep it to yourself! Hurry up; I don't want to die either!"
With his elbow braced in front of him, he concentrated his magical power like never before and struck down on the energy stream. A mournful wail escaped him as his arm became drenched in blood, flesh torn and mangled.
Ye Kai did not respond directly to either of them. Instead, after a moment of flickering light in his eyes, he suddenly smiled slightly. "Haven't you noticed? The finer gray energy streams are increasing rapidly!"
"What do you mean?" Lu Jiu was taken aback.
Wolf Cypress stopped grimacing and, confused, lamented, "Boss, please stop messing with us! If you've discovered something, just say it. If this drags on any longer, I really can't take it."
Ye Kai shot a glance at the cunning Whelp beside him and sighed. "Ignorance is truly bliss!"
"Don't you think the dangers we're facing are multiplying? At first, there were only a few wisps of energy, but now they've surged more than threefold. Look around carefully; doesn't it seem like this passage is becoming unstable?"
With each word from Ye Kai, Wolf Cypress and Lu Jiu's faces grew paler. It wasn't that they hadn't thought about it; facing the unknown had left them unable to maintain their composure.
"So what do we do now?"
"I don't want to die! I'm still just a little snake and haven't found a mate yet..."
Ye Kai felt a headache coming on.
As for Lu Jiu's last words, he found himself too exhausted to retort, feeling a sense of 'how could I possibly respond to this.'
"Come closer, let's form the Three Talents Formation to resist together. Otherwise, we might all die here," he urged.
"Alright, alright, I'm coming," Lu Jiu hurriedly moved closer.
"Boss, do you think we can hold on until we find an exit?" one of Wolf Cypress's subordinates asked, moving quickly but filled with concern.
As soon as Ye Kai's voice fell, Wolf Cypress and Lu Jiu immediately drew near. At that moment, everything else felt irrelevant; survival was the only priority. Besides, they didn't believe Ye Kai would ambush them here.
There was no need for such treachery. If an ambush were to cause the already unstable Spatial Channel to collapse, it wouldn't be a joke.
Moreover, Ye Kai had ample opportunities to suppress the two of them before; they were still alive and kicking, weren't they?!
"Why overthink it? If you don't try, how will you know if a miracle might happen?" Ye Kai smiled slightly.
In truth, he felt a bit anxious himself, but he refused to show weakness, especially in front of the two who had already been thoroughly convinced by him. He would never utter phrases like 'we can't' or 'I don't know.'
Even when the three formed their formation, facing the increasingly dense gray currents, they still felt overwhelmed.
If it weren't for Ye Kai mediating and comforting the two who were nearly scared out of their wits, the trio would have been doomed long ago.
Although the Spatial Channel remained extremely unstable, at the last moment, they were enveloped by an indescribable strange current and pulled into a collapsing chaos.
"His head feels so heavy!" This was the first sensation Ye Kai experienced upon waking.
After he and Wolf Cypress, Lu Jiu, were swept into the collapsing Chaotic Airflow within the Spatial Channel, a tremendous pressure suddenly enveloped them in the gray surroundings. Fortunately, the three of them had formed a magical formation and still possessed numerous Material Treasures.
It was precisely because of this that, despite their immense struggle, they managed to hold on for a while longer.
In the end, it was Ye Kai who took action, directly stimulating the seal within the Mind Space. Although he did not immediately feel the pressure dissipate entirely, the frantic loss of his magical power nearly drained him completely.
However, he had been mentally prepared for this and did not panic too much.
These changes were somewhat predictable, and with his last trump card still in hand, he believed he would emerge safely from Nothing.
At the moment when the seal laid down by that supreme existence in the Mind Space erupted, he felt as if he had shattered something. The little magical power remaining within him ceased to deplete.
Before him lay a place shrouded in darkness.
The light was too dim for Ye Kai to see clearly around him. The only thing he could ascertain was that it was eerily quiet; there seemed to be no one else present. This realization eased his mind as he slowly stood up and began to walk toward a noticeably illuminated area on his left.
However, just as he took a step forward, he felt a sudden spinning sensation. His legs weakened, and he collapsed onto the ground, nearly vomiting from discomfort.
Ye Kai forced a bitter smile; he knew all too well that this was the discomfort caused by long-distance teleportation. His strong reaction was entirely due to that thing troubling his mind.
Moreover, without divine assistance, resisting the Chaotic Airflow within the Spatial Channel had already drained him of nine-tenths of his magical power and energy.
But now, he couldn't afford to dwell on that. He immediately summoned WIKI and began to gulp down pills vigorously.
"Buzz!"
A soft orb of light slowly ascended, illuminating the surroundings in exquisite detail.
After regaining his composure, Ye Kai quickly issued commands to WIKI, hoping to find something related to a Teleportation Array.
After a while, with the assistance of thousands of Nano Flying Insects and Combat Robots, he finally grasped the situation.
"Regardless of where that Teleportation Array leads, it must be destroyed. At the same time, we need to conduct a deep scan of the Teleportation Array and record the data," Ye Kai said calmly while sitting cross-legged in the enormous Canopy.
Once he confirmed that the Combat Robot had indeed obliterated a corner of the Teleportation Array, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
After a full seven days, his injuries had finally healed.
At this point, he understood that he was in an abandoned Cave, but after some cleaning over the past few days, it had completely shed its previous state of ruin and desolation.
With tireless Combat Robots and Nano Flying Insects around, there was no need for him to worry about anything.
Although this place was another unfamiliar territory, Ye Kai felt more at ease; at least for now, there was no danger looming.
After a while, as WIKI slowly made its way toward the outside of the Cave, Ye Kai was still taken aback by the final result. The moment he saw outside, he froze.
Before him lay an endless expanse of azure water, stretching as far as the eye could see.
Although he had heard the report from WIKI, he was still stunned by the incredible sight before him, taking a long time to regain his composure.
"Could it be that No Return Valley is so vast, and there's even an ocean?" Ye Kai thought to himself, feeling a bit puzzled. "Or perhaps this is an extraordinarily large super saline lake?"
It was important to note that while No Return Valley was formed from fragments of space, its area was indeed extensive. However, even so, it shouldn't have something like an ocean, right?
"Lord God, after some analysis and organization, this should be a true ocean. However, we have yet to discover how large it is or where exactly it is located," WIKI said softly.
She was also quite perplexed by this place. Beneath her feet lay a massive island covering over eight hundred kilometers, with extremely complex terrain and abundant wildlife. Ordinary Spiritual Herbs and Medicines were plentiful here, with some even reaching a medicinal age of three thousand years.
However, every area was guarded by monsters. Although they weren't particularly strong, most possessed formidable combat abilities—be it through poison, mimicry, or their race's Divine Ability that was quite overwhelming.
Yet in the face of the Combat Robots and Nano Flying Insects sweeping through, none of this posed any problem. Within seven hours, at least one-fifth of the spiritual herbs and plants on the island, along with the monsters, had been collected by WIKI.
After gazing at the boundless ocean for a while, Ye Kai finally looked down to notice his location, but a hint of confusion crossed his face.
In the three-dimensional projection of the nearby Thousands of Corpses Scope sea area, aside from the massive Sea Beasts and Sirens, there wasn't a single human figure in sight.
He stood on a rather high cliff, not far from which lay the edge of the ocean where huge waves continuously crashed against the rocky shore.
Moreover, Ye Kai wondered what WIKI was thinking as she had allowed the aircraft to engage in capturing Sea Beasts while simultaneously capturing several large Sea Beasts that emitted weak monster energy.
Seeing this scene, Ye Kai stroked his chin and fell into deep thought.
Although he couldn't ascertain the situation in the nearby sea area or determine exactly where he was, he could only wait for reports from the Multifunctional Detector and the aircraft's search results.
This method may be slow to show results, but it is the only option for Ye Kai on this unfamiliar sea surface. He certainly does not want to encounter any super sea beasts or sirens without warning.
Of course, it has been said since ancient times that the sea is home to many strange creatures. If a fierce bird with an ancient bloodline were to appear, he wouldn't be too surprised.
After all, the supplies he has on him, as well as everything on this island, already belong to him, so he doesn't have to worry about starving.
Three hours passed like this. Perhaps Ye Kai's luck today was indeed good; just outside the detection range of the multifunctional detector, he spotted a massive sea ship on the surface of the water.
It was truly enormous.
The sea ship was over five hundred meters long, its hull shimmering with spirit light, and cultivators could be seen flying up from time to time.
Seeing this scene, Ye Kai felt a surge of joy in his heart.
As long as there were people aboard, things would be manageable. Although he didn't know how many cultivators were on that ship or how powerful they were, those were not problems for him.
He had no intention of becoming a pirate; he simply found this place, this territory, and this sea area very unfamiliar. He needed a map or some information.
