I am a steward of the Great Wilderness Sword Sect, and several elders from Two Realms Mountain and Supreme Void Palace are guests at this sect. I ask for your leniency; I only need a way out. As long as I am safe, I will not lay a finger on these clams."
"At no time will you be able to touch them," Ye Kai said calmly, his expression darkening.
Chen Hao's eyes widened in despair.
Before he could speak again, Ye Kai shook his head. "Being ungrateful is one thing, but repaying kindness with malice is unacceptable. There's no need to spare such scum."
With that, he extended his right hand, fingers splayed, and streams of colorful Radiance shot out, quickly forming a massive barrier.
The barrier took on the shape of an altar and then transformed into a gigantic flower that resembled a lotus yet was not quite one—a seven-colored bloom.

Startled, Chen Hao attempted to activate his secret technique but found that his connection to the Clam Clan had been completely severed.
