The Shaohuang God King and Dugu looked at Wei Chen.
"What’s going on?" the Shaohuang God King asked.
Wei Chen did not respond; his brow was furrowed as he quietly scanned the entire mountain range with his powerful mental awareness.
Shaohou and Dugu became somewhat tense under Wei Chen's demeanor, silently watching him without interrupting. They knew that Wei Chen's mental strength was formidable, capable of perceiving many things that they could neither see nor feel.
After a moment, Wei Chen pointed to a location halfway up the mountain and said, "Let’s go check that out."
With that, Wei Chen took the lead and flew over. Shaohou and Dugu exchanged a glance, temporarily setting aside their earlier minor conflict to follow him.
At the mountainside, Wei Chen frowned as he gazed at a towering ancient tree. After a long while, he turned to Dugu and asked, "Dugu Brother, do you know what kind of tree this is?"
Dugu searched through Yang Liao's memories in the Sea of Consciousness for a moment before suddenly saying, "This is a type of Illusion Tree. It appears both real and illusory; it doesn’t truly exist, but parts of it are real."
"What do you mean by that?" Wei Chen inquired.
Dugu explained, "An Illusion Tree is an ordinary tree that has been subjected to restrictions by some Great Being, creating an illusion. If you don’t approach closely, you wouldn’t notice anything unusual."
As he spoke, Dugu looked at Wei Chen with admiration. He suddenly realized that there was a reason why the owner of that great hand had chosen for him to follow Wei Chen; his mental strength was extraordinarily powerful—almost otherworldly. Not only could it be used for various purposes, but simply locating ancient ruins or secret realms could unleash unimaginable power.
With such strong mental strength, the chances of discovering ancient sites and secret realms and reaping benefits were significantly increased.
From such a distance, being able to identify an Illusion Tree among countless towering ancient trees was a feat that Dugu believed he could not achieve even at his strongest.
Regardless of the circumstances, Dugu could only consider himself a mere warrior. While his sword energy was strong, lacking a sharp mind often led to disadvantages. Perhaps the Demon God had recognized this aspect of Dugu when choosing him.

I wanted to see if there were any wild monsters in the entire mountain range; I couldn't just come here for nothing, as that’s not my style. When I scanned with my Mental Strength, I found something strange here. The fluctuations of Witch Power are not particularly strong, but they can still be detected. It seems that this Illusion Tree has been set up for quite some time, which is why the fluctuations have occurred. If the illusion formation had been intact, with my current level of Mental Strength, I might not have been able to detect it."
To Shaohou and Dugu, Wei Chen sounded like he was being modest, but in reality, what he said was true.
After arriving at the Witch Clan Continent, it was the first time Wei Chen discovered the existence of formations. The Illusion Tree is actually a type of formation: a formation constructed with Witch Power.
After a moment of silence, Wei Chen continued, "This Illusion Tree has been here for some years. The predecessor who set up this formation must have had considerable skill and strength." He turned to Dugu and asked, "Dugu, how is the location of the Illusion Tree explained in the Witch Clan Continent?"
"The existence of the Illusion Tree proves that there must be Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures or Ancient Relics nearby," Dugu replied.
"Oh? Does that mean that the predecessor who set up this formation did so intentionally?"
"Yes, this is a tradition in the Witch Clan Continent. Whether it's the Witch Clan or the Beast Clan, when a Great Being is about to pass away and cannot find a suitable successor, they will hide their belongings. The Illusion Tree serves as a marker to help future fated individuals take their things and inherit their relics; it essentially makes them their disciples," Dugu explained.
Wei Chen smiled and said, "So that means those with strong Mental Strength have a significant advantage?"
"I believe that in any world or Spatial Plane, having strong Mental Strength provides an advantage. It's not just about finding Treasure; even the basic understanding and comprehension of Cultivation Methods will be stronger," Dugu said while looking at Wei Chen with some envy. In his previous life, he had been framed and faced countless ambushes; if it weren't for his unmatched sword energy, he would have died a thousand times. It was during those numerous life-and-death crises that Dugu's swordsmanship became increasingly refined and powerful. However, if given another chance, he would prefer to have stronger Mental Strength to see through things earlier and avoid those predicaments altogether.
"Hehe, that's good to hear. I thought my efforts in cultivating Mental Strength would go to waste," Wei Chen chuckled.
Towering before the three of them was an ancient tree that seemed to stretch a hundred feet high, its trunk so thick that it would take seven or eight people to encircle it. Yet they all knew that it was not a real tree, but merely an illusion.
The three approached the ancient tree, and Wei Chen reached out to touch its surface, feeling the genuine bark beneath his fingers.
"What’s going on? This bark feels real, and there’s Life Energy flowing inside. It doesn’t seem like an illusion at all!" Wei Chen frowned and asked.
Shaohou and Dugu tried the same action as Wei Chen, and their conclusion matched his.
"This is strange; it doesn’t make sense," Shaohou and Dugu said, puzzled. An illusion that felt so real?
"Let’s check it out."
Wei Chen took the lead and flew up above the ancient tree, stopping in a lush area filled with vibrant foliage.
"I can sense the Witch Power fluctuations right here," Wei Chen said as he reached out and touched a leaf.
The leaf, which appeared to be a bright green, vanished without a trace upon contact.
"This is it; just an illusion."
Wei Chen saw hope and smiled, while Shaohou and Dugu became excited as well. What treasures could be hidden within such a secretive illusion?
"Let’s work together. The illusion array here is gentle and non-aggressive, but out of respect for the senior who set it up, let’s be careful and try to move gently as we dispel these illusions," Wei Chen instructed, carefully touching the leaves one by one. Shaohou and Dugu followed suit, mimicking Wei Chen's actions.
Soon, at the top of the towering ancient tree, the massive canopy formed by its branches and leaves disappeared completely.
Before Wei Chen, Shaohou, and Dugu stood a circular door shrouded in a misty haze.
Wei Chen attempted to probe the door with his Mental Strength, but as soon as it made contact, it was repelled back, unable to discern what lay beyond.
"What should we do now? This could very well be a secret realm, and our current strength might not be enough," Shaohou asked.
Wei Chen nodded in agreement. "That's right. Wherever there’s a secret realm, there are bound to be formidable Witch Beasts guarding it, or other traps and hidden paths. With our current abilities, entering would be tantamount to walking into our own demise."
"Are you saying we’ve discovered a treasure mountain but won’t go in?" Dugu frowned. He had always believed that discovering a treasure meant one must explore it. It wasn’t about greed; it was more about the thrill of discovery. If they found something remarkable and didn’t check it out, it felt like a huge loss.
Like the Golden Divine Palace beneath Mirror Lake—despite finding nothing there, Dugu still felt satisfied after wandering around.
Dugu looked at Wei Chen and Shaohou with frustration. He didn’t want to come here only to leave without understanding what lay ahead. Since they had discovered a secret realm, no matter how dangerous it might be inside, he felt compelled to take a look; that was just his nature.
Wei Chen smiled. "Of course we have to go in. We just need to remember that we have another companion with us. With him around, even if we encounter danger, we can retreat quickly."
"Ying Qin Supreme Deity?" Shaohou immediately thought of the person Wei Chen had brought along—Ying Qin Supreme Deity, who specialized in spatial traversal.
"Who is that?" Dugu looked around, wondering where this person was.
With a cheerful grin, Wei Chen opened the True God World portal and summoned Ying Qin Supreme Deity.
"Master, you finally let me out!" As soon as Ying Qin Supreme Deity appeared, he respectfully bowed to Wei Chen before quickly surveying the surroundings. "Is this the Witch Clan Continent? It’s indeed countless times stronger than our Endless Divine Realm! The energy here is incredible; if I could cultivate in this environment for an extended period, my body would become immensely powerful!"
"Enough with the chatter. This is Dugu Brother, and from now on, he will be one of us. Dugu Brother, this is Ying Qin Supreme Deity. In our world, he is also one of the Peak Experts. However, his expertise is something none of us can match."
Wei Chen made a brief introduction. Indeed, the current Ying Qin Supreme Deity had perfectly fused with the Kunlun Mirror, possessing exceptional spatial traversal abilities that allowed him to move freely across the Witch Clan Continent.

Ying Qin Supreme Deity carefully sensed the atmosphere of the Witch Clan Continent and nodded. "The air density here is quite high, which will slow down the tearing of the void a bit. It's not as strong as it was in the Endless Divine Realm, but it should still work."

As he spoke, Ying Qin Supreme Deity took out the delicate Kunlun Mirror and held it in his hand. "If we encounter danger, I will project a circular shield on this Kunlun Mirror. You all need to stand on it immediately; we can escape in an instant."
"Alright then, let's go."
The four of them stepped into the misty door together.
