"Son of a bitch? Do I have a grudge against you? Starting off by cursing." After he finished speaking, he was directly taken in by the Ghost Gate. I watched for a moment before turning away; at that moment, I was surrounded by souls. Damn, so many of them, it made me panic. 0

To an ordinary person, it might just look like a gust of wind, but what I saw were all souls. I walked toward them, moving against the flow as Wandering Ghosts brushed past me. Do you know what I was thinking at that moment? I'll tell you—I wasn't thinking about anything. My mind was in chaos. An ordinary person would be terrified to see so many ghosts. 0

But if I didn't walk this way, I wouldn't be able to leave here. So I kept moving forward. 0

Eventually, I stopped because most of the ghosts had disappeared. At this point, I could see Zhang Xun, Nian Chen, and Gao Ling. 0

I glanced back; the misty space behind me was almost gone. In my heart, I thought, I forgot to tell you what my grand aspiration is, but now it seems you won't be able to hear it anyway. I was completely naked, yet there were no wounds on my body; my soul had returned to my body. 0

The Yin Qi successfully entered my body, and the balance of yin and yang within me was restored. 0

Nian Chen asked me, "Did it work? Fly." 0

I responded with a yes; it worked. 0

Nian Chen finally seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, but Zhang Xun looked somewhat injured; his originally pale face had turned even paler. At that moment, Zhang Xun said to me, "Chen Fei, I'm sorry; I couldn't stop that ghost." 0

I glanced at Zhang Xun and replied, "It's fine; that guy got what he deserved." 0

I then asked Zhang Xun, "Are you okay?" He said he was fine. Suddenly, Gao Ling rushed over and hugged me tightly, saying, "Fly! I thought you were going to die!" 0

Damn it! I'm used to being hugged by women; if it were a man hugging me, I'd get goosebumps all over. I cursed, "Damn it! Let go of me!" Then it hit me—this bastard who spends all his time in flower beds is still a virgin? Could he possibly be gay? 0

A chill ran down my spine at the thought. I turned to Gao Ling and asked, "Do you have some kind of special preference?" 0

As soon as I finished speaking, Gao Ling reacted immediately, spitting out a "Pah!" and quickly releasing me. She began to pat her body repeatedly, as if brushing off dust. "I’m the one who finds you distasteful," she said. 0

I remained silent. 0

I didn’t argue with Gao Ling; I knew she was just concerned about me. Once we wrapped up our business here, we started packing up our things and tidying the Royal Carriage. After everything was in order, we left the place, and it was around one-thirty in the morning. 0

We arrived in the city at two o'clock. Nian Chen asked me, "How are you feeling now?" 0

I replied, "Not much different, just that my body feels better." Nian Chen then asked, "Have you remembered anything?" I paused for a moment and said, "The Yin-Yang Ghost Path, for the Petition for the Living—does that count?" 0

After I said this, I noticed Zhang Xun and Nian Chen looking at me with strange expressions. For a moment, I even thought I saw Nian Chen's eyes redden. Just then, Gao Ling unexpectedly burst into laughter and teased me, "You’re still thinking about the Petition for the Living? Have you saved enough for your wife?" 0

The three of us froze in place. We all stared at Gao Ling, who seemed to feel embarrassed under our gaze and asked, "Did I say something wrong?" 0

Nian Chen and Zhang Xun remained silent. After a few seconds of shock, I turned to Gao Ling and said, "You didn’t say anything wrong! I really haven’t saved enough for my wife; remember to bring in some business later." 0

Gao Ling quickly responded, "No problem." 0

However, as soon as I finished speaking, Nian Chen and Zhang Xun's gazes shifted back to me. Their stares made me uneasy. I echoed Gao Ling's question: "Did I say something wrong?" Zhang Xun and Nian Chen looked away without saying a word. 0

After getting out of the car, we returned home. Since Nian Chen was there, I had no choice but to sleep on the sofa. That night, Gao Ling worried that we might regret going to see the fortune teller with her, so she reminded us not to forget about tomorrow's matters. 0

Zhang Xun agreed, saying it was no problem. 0

Gao Ling chimed in, "In that case, I'm going to grab a few things." Afterward, she returned to her room, and Nian Chen also went back to his. I exchanged a few words with Zhang Xun, who asked me, "Did you really remember everything from last night?" 0

I nodded to indicate yes. Zhang Xun then asked, "But who told you that line?" 0

I paused for a moment and replied, "I dreamt it." Zhang Xun seemed skeptical and questioned, "Is it really that simple?" I affirmed, "Yes, it is that simple." 0

Zhang Xun fell silent for a moment, not saying anything further, then got up to go to bed. I called out to Zhang Xun and asked, "What do you hope I remember?" 0

Zhang Xun replied, "I hope you remember everything." After saying this, he went to sleep. If only I could remember everything too. I lay down on the sofa and turned off the lights in the living room. Before long, I fell asleep. 0

The next morning, Gao Ling dragged me out to buy supplies. If we were going to see the fortune teller this time, we definitely needed to prepare some things; otherwise, we might regret not being ready when the time came. 0

Gao Ling bought everything we could possibly need. We kept busy until the afternoon before finally setting off. Gao Ling mentioned that this time we were heading into a remote area again but assured us that she had prepared even daily necessities because she was worried we might not be accustomed to it. 0

However, we clearly didn't care much about those things. The car quickly started up, and by the time we reached our destination, it was already dark. In this day and age, truly remote areas without any roads are quite rare; although not all roads are paved with concrete, there is usually at least one muddy path. 0

It was around ten o'clock when we got out of the car. The place felt eerie; all around us were overgrown grass and trees. There was only one relatively open area suitable for parking. Just as the car came to a stop, several people surrounded us. It was ten o'clock at night; being stared at by four or five people felt rather unsettling! 0

Gao Ling called out to Hometown, and these people seemed wary of us. One of them spoke up, asking, "What are you doing in our village?" 0

Gao Ling didn't hide anything and replied directly, "We're here to find a fortune teller. He sent us." 0

"Fortune teller, we don't have any here. You should leave." 0

I glanced at the four or five villagers, and it was clear that they were indeed alive. Gao Ling exchanged a few words with them, but communication was impossible. These villagers seemed resolute in their intention to drive us away. 0

Gao Ling said, "Please don't panic, everyone from Hometown. There is nothing in this world that money can't solve. We are newcomers to your esteemed place, and this small amount of money is just a token of respect. Hometown, take it and buy some wine." With that, Gao Ling pulled out several hundred-dollar bills. The villagers exchanged glances and then looked at the money. One villager remarked that my Witch had given birth, and he snatched all the money from Gao Ling's hands. 0

Gao Ling's expression changed; the money was meant for these people, but now it had been taken by one individual. The remaining villagers continued to stare at Gao Ling, who could only chuckle awkwardly before pulling out another sum of money to distribute among them. 0

Afterward, the villagers left, all citing the same reason: the Witch had given birth. 0

Once they were gone, Gao Ling cursed, "Damn it! What a coincidence! They all gave birth at the same time!" 0

I found it quite coincidental too! It was strange that so many children were born simultaneously, but I suspected it was just an excuse for these villagers. 0

After the villagers departed, we made our way into the village. The layout of the village was chaotic; houses were scattered everywhere. Where could we possibly find a fortune teller? 0

As we walked past one house, I suddenly heard a loud cry—was that really a child's cry? Could someone actually be giving birth? As we moved forward, I heard not just one but multiple cries. Then came the sound of firecrackers. 0

The firecracker sounds came from five different places. Could it be that five children were born in the village at the same time? This was truly bizarre! They really did give birth all at once. 0
