Why does Hu Qingming's voice sound so much like mine? In the next moment, Zhang Xun and Gao Ling both turned to look at me, and I was just as confused! 0

I said, "Maybe it's just a coincidence that our voices are similar." 0

Gao Ling replied, "That's true; it’s quite possible for voices to sound alike." 0

Zhang Xun glanced at me before turning his gaze away, saying nothing. We held our breath, waiting for Hu Qingming's response. He said, "I am haunted by Wandering Ghosts; I cannot break free, so I will not leave." 0

After those words fell, the place finally returned to silence, as if the voice I had spoken of had ceased to echo. 0

Gao Ling asked, "Where is that voice coming from? It started mimicking our speech and then switched to someone else's. I can't shake the feeling that there's a recording device here." 0

I also felt as if there were a recording device present. However, from the information in Hu Qingming's earlier words, it seemed he had left something behind here. Could this be Hu Qingming's tomb? I quickly voiced my thoughts, and both Zhang Xun and Gao Ling looked surprised. 0

Zhang Xun said, "That's unlikely; Hu Qingming shouldn't still be alive." 0

I replied to Zhang Xun, "It's normal for him to be alive; after all, he is such a legendary figure." 0

Zhang Xun had no retort to that. He remained silent while Gao Ling said, "Whatever the case, let’s hurry inside and check it out. If we wait too long, those people might be in trouble." 0

This tomb was built so lavishly; there must be plenty of treasures inside. Gao Ling was definitely thinking about the good things in the grave. But I was genuinely worried about the people inside; they might already be in danger. We moved deeper into the tomb. 0

The passage was pitch black, illuminated only by our lights. After turning a few corners, I suddenly felt a chill on my cheek. I touched my face with my hand and found my fingers damp. Looking at my fingertips revealed a red liquid. When I sniffed it, a metallic scent filled the air. Then I glanced up and saw a ghastly figure hovering above me. 0

Blood droplets continued to drip down, with the entire body hanging from the ceiling of the passage. 0

In an instant, I couldn't help but gasp in shock. I called out to Zhang Xun and Gao Ling, saying, "You guys need to look up!" 0

Three flashlights shone upwards, illuminating the scene above us. Bloodied faces appeared in our line of sight, and Gao Ling let out a shriek, "That scared the hell out of me!" 0

I took a glance and immediately recognized who they were—those who had entered with us earlier. Three corpses lay above them, each with a gruesome appearance. I said to Gao Ling, "What are you screaming about? It's not like you've never seen a dead body before." 0

"I've seen dead bodies," Gao Ling replied, "but I've never seen them look this horrific." 0

I stared at them; their faces looked as if someone had clawed at them, but what puzzled me was how they were fixed in place. The ground was at least four or five meters from the top of the tomb passage, and the walls were smooth. Climbing up would definitely not be an easy task. 0

The area above the tomb didn't seem like a place where treasures would be hidden, so the only possibility was that these people had been murdered. 0

But how did these corpses get up there? I couldn't tell what had secured them. After observing for a moment, I asked, "Did you figure anything out?" 0

Zhang Xun muttered two words: "Let's go." 0

Gao Ling chimed in, "Are we going deeper or heading back?" 0

"Deeper," Zhang Xun replied. 0

"Then maybe we should just forget it," Gao Ling said. 0

Zhang Xun didn't waste any more words and headed deeper into the tomb. I called out to Gao Ling and followed him, though neither of them answered my question. After turning another corner, we encountered neither dead bodies nor living souls. 0

We entered a burial chamber furnished with several chairs—three on the left and three on the right—with a table in the center. On the table sat a Spirit Tablet inserted into an incense burner. 0

The decor made this place resemble an ancient living room. I approached the Spirit Tablet and, upon closer inspection, saw four characters written in traditional Chinese: Spirit of Ten Thousand Ghosts. I murmured the phrase to myself. 0

Spirit of Ten Thousand Ghosts—could this not be Hu Qingming's tomb? Was it actually the burial site of Wandering Ghosts? 0

I was lost in thought, wondering what kind of secret existed between Hu Qingming and the Wandering Ghosts. 0

Gao Ling said, "There’s not a single person left. Could they all be dead?" Her words jolted me back to reality. If this was indeed the tomb of the Wandering Ghosts, it wouldn’t be strange if they had all perished. 0

Zhang Xun remarked, "Stay calm; it’s probably something Hu Qingming has orchestrated." 0

I nodded in understanding and suggested that Gao Ling call out to see if anyone would respond, after all, these people were gathered by her. Following my advice, Gao Ling shouted a few times, but there was no reply. "This place is a bit eerie! Maybe we should leave," she said. 0

I glanced around, shining the flashlight into various corners; some areas lit up briefly before plunging back into darkness. 0

Seeing that I remained silent, Gao Ling continued, "This is a ghost's tomb. After coming in here, there’s nothing valuable at all." She grumbled as she leaned against a chair and quickly sat down. But as soon as she did, an unexpected event occurred. 0

When I pulled my gaze back, I hurriedly called out to Gao Ling. 0

Gao Ling, realizing something was off, said, "Why is this chair so soft?" 0

"Get up!" I shouted. As soon as those words left my mouth, Gao Ling seemed to understand what she had sat on and jumped up abruptly, beads of sweat forming on her forehead. 0

Corpses—six bodies had suddenly appeared in those chairs, undoubtedly the same people who had just entered. It was truly eerie! Just moments ago, there had been nothing on the chairs; now six corpses seemed to have materialized out of thin air. 0

Gao Ling's face turned pale with fright. However, the faces of the corpses were even more ghastly white. Their bodies were stiff, faces pale, eyes tightly shut, and their bodies sat straight with hands neatly placed on their knees. 0

Gao Ling muttered in shock, "Another dead person." Her voice trembled. 0

Yes! Another person was dead. 0

Zhang Xun approached the corpse and I called out to him. "Don't worry," he replied reassuringly. At that moment, Zhang Xun pulled out a dagger and made a cross-shaped incision on the forehead of one of the corpses. The next second, a chilling scream echoed from the corpse. Yet despite its cries, it could not escape from the chair. 0

Eerily, the entire body was only moving its mouth. Can you believe it? It was truly unsettling. 0

Zhang Xun stood before the screaming corpse, completely unmoving. The corpse was clearly not fixed by anything, yet it couldn't move. After a series of agonizing screams, the corpse suddenly spoke, "Help me, help me..." 0

Both Gao Ling and I were taken aback, but Zhang Xun, bold and skilled, pulled out a talisman and pressed it against the corpse's forehead. The forehead was already bleeding, and the blood quickly stained the Yellow Talisman red. Zhang Xun closed his eyes and chanted an incantation, then pressed his thumb against the corpse's forehead. 0

Then we saw a dark blue soul emerge from the back of the corpse, and it wasn't just one soul; there were many souls. 0

Gao Ling shouted, "These are ghosts!" It was true; the souls were indeed spirits. 0

From a single corpse, about twenty souls were forced out. Zhang Xun then instructed us to step back. Gao Ling and I reacted quickly and moved aside. Gao Ling asked, "Can we leave now?" 0

Zhang Xun clearly had no intention of leaving. He asked, "Is Hu Qingming dead?" 0

At that moment, the souls seemed as if they had not Awakened; their eyes were closed, and their feet remained on the ground. After Zhang Xun spoke, he received no response. 0

Gao Ling inquired, "Brother Zhang, can these ghosts talk?" 0

Zhang Xun ignored Gao Ling and stood waiting for the souls to respond. I felt that these souls would not answer at all. After waiting for about three or four minutes with no movement from the souls, I said to Zhang Xun, "These souls are dead; they probably have no consciousness." 0

But just as I finished speaking, one soul suddenly opened its eyes. After opening its eyes, it stared at me and then spoke to me. 0
