Everyone had fallen silent, as if anticipating something. The sound of rushing water continued to echo, with frothy bubbles spilling over and releasing white mist that enveloped the Bronze Water Platform. For a moment, everyone found themselves shrouded in the fog, unable to see one another clearly. 0

Before anyone could react, a second tremor shook the ground. 0

Suddenly, Old Wang shouted, "Quick, disperse! We might be experiencing an earthquake." 0

It was understandable if someone had doubted the tremors before, but after Fat Ma's experiment, it truly seemed like an earthquake was imminent. As soon as Old Wang finished speaking, everyone hurriedly scattered in search of shelter. 0

In the chaos, many ran to the corridor for cover. 0

Fat Ma was quick-witted and led us to hide in a corner against the wall. 0

The Bronze Water Platform shook again, accompanied by a low buzzing sound, as if the bronze itself was vibrating. Our gazes were fixed on the Bronze Water Platform, where beams of light crisscrossed through the thick mist. 0

Suddenly, I lost my balance and stumbled slightly. At that moment, I noticed debris falling from above the Pit. I quickly warned everyone to exit the Pit; it really felt like an earthquake was about to occur. 0

Panic spread among us as people rushed toward the entrance. However, there were only a few ropes to climb up, leading to scuffles as some fought to get ahead. This place was meant for seeking talent, not for losing lives. Various voices filled the once quiet space. 0

The falling debris grew larger and more frequent. 0

"It's really going to quake!" Fat Ma exclaimed. 0

"Is there any doubt about it?" 0

After receiving my confirmation, Fat Ma rolled up his sleeves and prepared to carve a path through the chaos. 0

Zhang Tong was beside me, looking flustered. In the midst of the turmoil, I tightened my grip on his hand. Zhang Tong suddenly shot me a glance filled with urgency. I instinctively turned away. 0

"Hold my hand tightly," I shouted, raising my voice to mask a hint of embarrassment. 0

Zhang Tong merely responded with an "mm" and nodded. 0

"Damn it, you two still have time for sweet nothings! Hurry up and get over here!" Fat Ma roared. He was already surrounded by enemies, with foes attacking from all sides, yet Fat Ma stood his ground with the courage of a thousand men. 0

I urged Zhang Tong to climb up first. At that moment, he said nothing and grabbed the rope to ascend. 0

Dozens of beams of light surged chaotically like a turbulent current. 0

Suddenly, a piercing scream echoed through the chaos, sharp and jarring. I quickly shifted my gaze to search for the source, and to my surprise, I spotted that mysterious shadow once again. 0

Just as I was about to act, the Mud Man shot forward like an arrow. Not wanting to fall behind, I chased after him. 0

"You two are out of your minds!" Fat Ma shouted, gripping the rope. When he saw us not responding, he cursed, "Damn it. Old Ghost, this mission is on you." With that, he handed the rope to Old Ghost. It was said that Old Ghost's face turned green at that moment. This task was already a stretch for Fat Ma. 0

As Old Ghost grasped the rope, he felt a wave of murderous intent wash over him, sending chills down his spine. He couldn't hold on for even a second before cursing, " Fat Ma, I'm not that stupid." With that, he tossed the rope aside and chased after Fat Ma. 0

Debris continued to fall around us, and the Bronze Water Platform shook violently; the sound of rushing water grew louder while the mist thickened. 0

Zhang Tong had already climbed up the rope. 0

The Mud Man and I found the source of that scream: another lifeless body lay on the ground, cold as ice. Beneath him pooled a dark liquid that we temporarily assumed was blood. 0

"Damn it, do you two want to live or not?" Fat Ma panted as he caught up with us. 0

I still hadn't calmed down when I urged the Mud Man to make a run for it in response to Fat Ma's words. 0

The clay figures remained remarkably calm in contrast to us. They gazed at the corpse on the ground, warning us not to approach, cautioning that it might be toxic. 0

“Damn it, that’s not the point right now! Staying alive is what matters most,” Fat Ma exclaimed, frantic like an ant on a hot pan, his frustration palpable. 0

Suddenly, someone placed a hand on Fat Ma's shoulder. Without thinking, Fat Ma executed a shoulder throw followed by a crushing move, all in one swift motion. Accompanying his actions was a scream that sounded like a pig being slaughtered. 0

“Daring to ambush Fat Master? You’re still too green!” Fat Ma said disdainfully. 0

“ Fat Ma, it’s me.” 0

“I don’t know you.” 0

Old Ghost nearly choked on his breath and shouted again, “It’s Old Ghost! I really am Old Ghost!” 0

Fat Ma stood up and, upon seeing Old Ghost’s appearance, looked utterly shocked. “Old Ghost, is that really you?” 0

Old Ghost immediately lost his temper. 0

“How did you get over here?” 0

“ Fat Ma, you’re truly heartless! Throwing that hot potato at me—aren’t you just sending me to my death?” 0

After hearing Old Ghost's words, Fat Ma finally remembered and immediately changed his tone to scold him. “Did you throw the rope away?” 0

Old Ghost's confidence waned slightly as Fat Ma cursed him. He then attempted to rush back to reclaim their position but had barely taken two steps when he was called back by the clay figures. 0

Fat Ma turned around, his face twisted with urgency and frustration. “Hurry up! Do you really want to die here?” 0

The Mud Man said, "Fat Ma, come over here." 0

Looking at the calm expression on the Mud Man's face, not only was Fat Ma puzzled, but I was also confused. How could he be so composed? If we didn't leave now, we would lose both our lives and our wealth! 0

Fat Ma stood there, hesitating and staring at the Mud Man, but in the end, he approached. This trust had been built over more than a decade. 0

Fat Ma hurried over in a few quick steps. 0

With an urgent tone, he urged, "Just say what you need to say." 0

"Don't you realize this is just thunder without rain?" 0

We were all taken aback by this statement. "What do you mean?" Fat Ma asked. 0

Seeing that we didn't understand, the Mud Man had no choice but to explain plainly: "Do you feel the ground shaking? Have you fallen? Has the ground cracked?" 0

As these three questions came one after another, our brains suddenly processed a lot of information. After analyzing it, we felt that the Mud Man's words made a lot of sense. The three of us changed our perspective and continued to observe the debris falling around us; our feelings had completely shifted. 0

Gone was the previous panic; instead, it felt like we were watching a show. 0

Suddenly, we had an epiphany. The Mud Man's words were like a refreshing breeze that enlightened us in an instant. 0
