Two solid black shadows appeared not far from Nebo Pass, resembling the Same Kind insects that had emerged the previous night. 0

They already had a scientific name, as before, due to the lack of academic terminology, even scientists had never encountered similar insects. 0

Charming Insect, primarily because these creatures were truly bizarre, as if they had been conjured from thin air. No one knew what sustained their enormous bodies—was it the stones underground? That seemed unlikely. The idea of them consuming stones to grow so large was almost comical. 0

After a meeting that offered no respite, the Stink Bugs suddenly emerged from the ground cracks, showing no signs of retreat as they slowly advanced toward Nipoguan. Their movement was not fast; they were not the kind of insects that could move quickly. 0

However, their massive size meant each step covered a great distance. So even though they appeared to be moving slowly from afar, it wouldn’t be long before they charged in. 0

Freyr and others had already emerged from their tents and quickly ran to the Tower to look out. At such a moment, no one could stop them. Empty aircraft took to the skies again, and the sound of explosions echoed loudly; even the undetonated Nuclear Landmines on the ground erupted. 0

Yet, despite this chaos, it did not seem to affect the Charming Insects at all. Their resilience was terrifying; their Defense Power appeared far more formidable than the one encountered last night. The previous insect had a protective barrier around it, but this time it simply used brute force to withstand the explosions. Considering it was a nuclear landmine, the destructive power was unimaginable—the force generated in an instant was quite horrifying. 0

However, if that didn’t work, then perhaps the Laser Beam fired by the aircraft would prove effective. This was a very new type of Battlefield technology, and indeed it startled the Charming Insects into a retreating response. If the Laser Beam wasn’t blocked by any defensive walls, it should have an effect. 0

The terrifying force was still to come. When eight circular aircraft combined together, they formed a fortress resembling an Aerial Battleship, akin to a Mechanical Gundam. 0

But its operational range was very limited; in other words, its propulsion had become more powerful than ever before. 0

If it were a highly agile Flying Zerg launching a surprise attack, they could be torn apart like paper in an instant. This aircraft was significantly larger but lacked maneuverability; it could only hover in mid-air with minimal movement space and wasn’t particularly fast. Two massive cannon arms rose up, aimed at the two insects below. 0

The cannon barrels glowed brightly as two orange-yellow beams shot forth instantaneously. The ground shook violently, creating a phenomenon nearby that resembled a mushroom cloud—an occurrence that defied explanation. 0

However, the power and gravity reached their peak in an instant, and the two insects quickly revealed themselves, their thunderous roars echoing through the air. Yet, they could not move forward even a single step. 0

They were trapped within the terrifying Black Hole, which generated a vortex behind it that resembled a miniature universe. The center of the vortex appeared to have something pitch black flickering within it. 0

If I am not mistaken, this should not be a randomly generated substance; it was as if a highly gravitational black hole had suddenly formed. 0

It was no wonder that these two insects could not advance at all; the reason was clear: an Artificial Black Hole. It sounded somewhat unbelievable, but the reality before them was indeed surreal. 0

Any object would be consumed by the black hole. Although no one could truly comprehend its scale, it was said that even light would be distorted and swallowed. This phenomenon was like a massive mouth that could devour anything, and the distortion generated by the cannon directly tore open the critical point of the black hole, allowing it to form. Stones and various debris were sucked in. 0

The two insects were still struggling, but it seemed they had little time left. The cannon then rose again, this time firing a colorful beam of light. 0

That was the ultimate attack of this mech. Using this move would consume a significant amount of energy, but doing so would put the mech into a state of suspension. At this height, even if it fell into a free fall, it wouldn’t endanger the pilot’s life; the airbags in the cockpit were fully deployed, and if necessary, the pilot could parachute out. 0

The Plasma Beam Cannon struck the ground below. The two insects attempted to claw at the earth to prevent themselves from being sucked into the black hole. Although it was indeed a black hole, it was artificially created and could only maintain its existence for a brief minute—a terrifying minute of darkness. 0

Because of this, with no ground to hold onto, they were pulled in by the gravitational force. The black hole behaved as predicted; shortly after its activation, it gradually closed into a narrow slit. Their screams faded away as they were completely consumed by the black hole. 0

Aside from a patch of scorched earth where the explosion had occurred, everything else remained eerily silent as if nothing had happened. 0

The mech fell from mid-air, but fortunately, all airbags in the cockpit deployed successfully, allowing the crew inside to emerge safely. 0

As long as the mech was not destroyed, it could be recovered and recharged for further use. However, firing that deadly shot consumed an immense amount of energy, so it could only be used as a last resort when energy levels were still sufficient. 0

The most they would suffer were the side effects of overloading the mecha, which seemed quite objective from other perspectives. 0

It was impossible to activate the black hole in a short time. However, the people on the Tower rushed over, lifting the pilot as if he were a hero and bringing him back to the Tower in Nipoguan. At that moment, as Freyr and the others arrived, the noisy crowd suddenly fell silent. 0

People looked at them with strange expressions, mainly because some had disparaged them. Their earlier actions had proven that they were merely a facade, lacking substance. 0

Yet, it didn't matter much to them; they didn't seek such accolades. This was primarily due to Hilbert's opinion of them. Others might despise them, but they couldn't silence those voices or tell them to stop talking nonsense. 0

He followed those who regarded them with disdain into the checkpoint. Then they returned to their tent, sitting angrily on the edge of their beds without speaking. Xiong Tai left the room without a word, storming out in anger. Ross immediately followed him outside; Freyr didn't want Xiong Tai to cause trouble and sent Ross to stop him. 0

The disdainful looks from earlier were evident, and Freyr noticed this with growing anger. If it was just him being treated this way, he could bear it; after all, he didn't care much about personal feelings or thoughts being scrutinized. 0

But when it involved those around him, Freyr would immediately fall into a state of fury. In that state, no one would be spared; wherever he went, nothing would survive. 0
