"Two days. It was quick this time," Cheng Xi replied.
"Of course! Ruo Lan is all about accumulating strength before making a breakthrough," Reset said proudly. "How did your promotions go?"
"My Wind Type has reached Level Four; with a little more effort, I can transform," Monet said, managing to contain her excitement, though a hint of it slipped through.
"Congratulations! That's great progress," everyone chimed in with their well-wishes.
"Sister Ruo Lan, my invisibility Ability has reached Level Three. I feel like I can cloak five people at once, with an effective radius of about ten meters. The prophecy Ability is terrible; it's practically a useless skill, sometimes working and sometimes not," Kong Xiang said, pleased with the improvement in his Ability but frustrated by the unpredictability of the prophecy.
"Wow, that's not just powerful; it's practically cheating!" Cheng Xi looked at Kong Xiang enviously. "As for me, my Ability is progressing the slowest—I'm still at Gold Level Two."
"Don't sell yourself short. As long as you keep pushing forward, there's no distance you can't cover," Su Ruolan comforted the somewhat downcast Cheng Xi. "This world is vast, filled with many experts. Even I have to keep working hard."
"You're not that slow; you're just a bit behind me. How long have you been training? If I followed your logic, I'd be drowning in guilt," Reset awkwardly tried to console her while casting a glance at Monet and Kong Xiang. "Don't let my lower Ability level fool you; I could take you both out in seconds. Your current strength isn't impressive." Reset felt somewhat out of place among the adults and sought to assert her position as the leader.
Seeing Reset trying to act grown-up made everyone smile. Monet perhaps felt more deeply aware of Reset's unfathomable strength and smiled more reservedly. The others laughed heartily, especially Cheng Xi, who couldn't resist planting a playful kiss on Reset's cheek, earning a disdainful glare from her that only made everyone laugh harder.
Su Ruolan watched them with joy and said, "Alright, let's hurry back. The main group shouldn't be far." Once they exited the space, they moved quickly and managed to hunt several Mutated Animals along the way. With the rice from their previous location, they should have enough food for everyone.
Following the special signals left behind, Su Ruolan finally caught up with Qin Zhi Han's main group.

The nearly thousand soldiers of the Huaxia Corps quietly concealed themselves in the mountains and forests. Meanwhile, on the winding road below them, military vehicles gradually approached, most loaded with munitions and some with supplies.
"Captain Qin, given this situation, it seems they aren't coming for us," Bai Zhen said to Qin Zhi Han. They were currently lying low on a hilltop, well-concealed; from below looking up, it was indeed difficult to detect any signs of their presence.
“Captain, I’m back,” Li Yuxuan crawled up slowly from the back.
“How did it go?” Qin Zhi Han asked in a low voice as he descended from the hill.
