At that moment, Subject 618 was unaware that he had unwittingly opened the curtain to a new era. He stared in shock at the ten human skins on the ground, his mouth agape in disbelief. Wang Chao's mind was in turmoil; just a day ago, he had been focused on saving twenty soldiers' lives, yet now he found himself having consumed the flesh and blood of ten soldiers. The stark contrast of his situation was enough to make anyone lose their sanity.
"This is truly terrifying!" Wang Chao thought to himself. "Am I really going to become a monster? However, he felt some relief knowing that the bone spikes had retracted into his body; at least outwardly, he appeared no different from an ordinary human.

He picked up a fitted outfit and put it on while destroying the remaining clothes along with the ten human skins on the ground, leaving no trace behind.
