As the wolf's claws were about to slash through Tang Feng's arm and pierce his chest, he hurriedly tried to dodge, but how could he move faster than the wolf? At his current speed, the wolf's claws would surely sink into his chest in an instant. Just then, Tang Feng felt a tremendous force pulling him from behind, and in an instant, he was yanked away. The wolf's claws grazed past him, tearing several large holes in his clothes. 0

Tang Feng turned back and gasped, "Wang Chao?" 0

Indeed, the one who saved Tang Feng was none other than Wang Chao, who had just arrived. Shen Zhiying had parked the plane on a nearby rooftop and instructed them to be cautious of the surrounding zombies. Wang Chao was the first to reach this place. He rushed here not only to find members of the Bioterrorism Security Department but also for another reason: when Zhang Fusheng took him away, he hadn’t brought Little Wolf along. During the more than a month in the capital, Wang Chao had thought of Little Wolf countless times and wondered how it was doing. Thus, he hurriedly made his way here but was met with a heart-stopping scene upon entering the neighborhood. 0

It was the sight of a person and a wolf falling from the sky. As they descended, Wang Chao recognized them clearly; the person was none other than Tang Feng. The wolf was also not just any wolf but the one he had personally pulled from its den. Tang Feng had been present at that time, but for some reason, Little Wolf seemed not to recognize him and instead attacked him. 0

Pulling Tang Feng out of Little Wolf's attack range, Wang Chao finally spoke, "Little Peach?" 0

Wang Chao had jokingly called Little Wolf that name before, and it seemed to have liked it. But now, Little Wolf showed no reaction; instead, it fixed its blood-red eyes on Wang Chao as if ready to pounce at any moment. Its red furred paw scratched at the ground restlessly, poised to charge. Wang Chao whispered to Tang Feng, "You go get a knife. If I'm not in life-threatening danger, stay close by. If Shen Zhitao and the others arrive later, you need to protect them. Got it?" 0

For the past month, Tang Feng had been searching for Wang Chao and his group. Now that he had found them, there was no joy on his face; he seemed completely indifferent to it all. Wang Chao understood Tang Feng's personality; he was someone who kept everything bottled up inside. However, seeing Tang Feng filled Wang Chao with immense joy—it confirmed that his suspicions were correct: Da Qiang, Ouyang En, and Lei Father and Son might still be alive. 0

Tang Feng nodded slowly and then quietly slipped away from Wang Chao's side. 0

Now it was Wang Chao who faced off against Little Wolf. As expected, in just a month’s time, Little Wolf had grown over a meter long; perhaps it had matured even more than its mother and could potentially reach four or five meters in length. However, Little Wolf seemed not to recognize anyone anymore and Wang Chao wondered how it had survived during their absence. 0

"Little Wolf, do you really not remember me?" Wang Chao said with a glimmer of hope as he faced the snow-white wolf. 0

The wolf gave no response; instead, it bared its sharp teeth at him—truly a different creature from the Little Wolf he had first encountered. Suddenly, Little Wolf let out a howl and charged directly at Wang Chao with incredible speed that kicked up snow on either side like two walls forming around it. Seeing this, Wang Chao quickly prepared to confront it. 0

Little Wolf ran as fast as a leopard; its speed was several times greater than Wang Chao’s own. It was no wonder that even Tang Feng had been no match for Little Wolf before. In an instant, Little Wolf was upon him with its claws slashing down fiercely. Wang Chao leaned back to evade the attack just in time as Little Wolf’s massive jaws came down right after him. Instead of drawing his dagger, Wang Chao threw a punch that landed squarely on Little Wolf’s chest, sending it flying back several meters… 0

With a powerful force, Little Wolf spun around, its snow-white tail sweeping through the air with a fierce whoosh. If it connected, it would surely shatter Wang Chao's insides. Wang Chao leaped into the air, soaring over two meters to evade Little Wolf's tail. Before he could land, the wolf turned and charged at him again. Just as Wang Chao prepared to throw a punch, an overwhelming sense of danger surged through him—not directed at himself, but at Little Wolf right in front of him! 0

Wang Chao's instinct for danger was sharper than most, yet Little Wolf seemed oblivious to the impending threat. It opened its massive jaws and lunged at Wang Chao. Gritting his teeth, Wang Chao ignored the sharp fangs and turned his back to the wolf. 0

"Danger!" Tang Feng, who had just sheathed his Tang Dao, saw that Wang Chao had completely exposed his back. At this rate, Little Wolf could easily crush Wang Chao's skull with a single bite. However, Tang Feng felt utterly helpless; even if he threw his Tang Dao, it would only pierce Wang Chao before reaching Little Wolf. But if he did nothing, Wang Chao would be dead in a second. 0

Tang Feng was truly at a loss. 0

Yet Wang Chao remained unfazed. Tang Feng watched as he closed his eyes, unsure if it was out of fear or something else entirely. Suddenly, an arrow whistled through the air, aimed at Little Wolf. But because Wang Chao was in the way, the arrow shot straight for his chest. In that moment, Wang Chao's hands shot out and grasped the arrow. 0

The force of the arrow was overwhelming; holding it tightly made Wang Chao feel as if his hands were on fire. A wave of numbness washed over him, making it nearly impossible to maintain his grip. If he let go, the powerful arrow would still pierce his chest. At that moment, he also sensed the wind from Little Wolf's approach behind him. 0

Caught in a deadly pincer attack, Wang Chao thought he was doomed. 0

To save himself, he instantly entered the Breathing Technique state, amplifying his strength several times over. Even so, facing two opponents was still daunting. Just as the arrow was about to pierce his chest, Wang Chao felt its power suddenly dissipate; the pressure lifted. He looked back to see Little Wolf pressing against him, its head reaching forward to bite down on the arrow. 0

Little Wolf tossed the arrow aside and leaned closer, licking Wang Chao's face with its tongue like a puppy trying to please its master. 0

"Little Wolf!" Wang Chao exclaimed. 0
