Little Wolf climbed down from Wang Chao and sat in front of him like a small dog. Wang Chao reached out to stroke Little Wolf's soft fur, and Little Wolf rubbed against Wang Chao's hand as if enjoying it, just like when they first met. Although Wang Chao didn't understand why Little Wolf had attacked him before, it seemed that Little Wolf had recognized him again. 0

At that moment, Tang Feng hurried over. He appeared to be on guard against Little Wolf; even though Tang Dao was sheathed, it remained at his chest, ready for attack or defense at any moment. Seeing Tang Feng like this made Wang Chao chuckle. Now, he felt no hostility from Little Wolf, and Tang Feng must have sensed it too, but the trauma Little Wolf had caused him was still too great. 0

It wasn't until Wang Chao encouraged Little Wolf to nuzzle Tang Feng that Tang Feng finally sheathed Tang Dao behind him. 0

"That arrow was aimed at Little Wolf," Tang Feng said. "But its power was so great that I didn't sense the danger at first. This indicates that the person who shot it is very strong, not weaker than you or me." 0

Wang Chao nodded in agreement, recalling the scene when the arrow was fired. It happened in an instant; the moment he felt a strong sense of danger, the arrow was already at his chest. Despite using all his strength, he found it difficult to stop its force. In the end, he had to push himself into his strongest state. Even so, if it weren't for Little Wolf, he might not have died, but he would certainly have been injured. 0

So the question arose: who shot that arrow and from where? 0

Tang Feng instinctively picked up the arrow and looked in the direction it had come from. He saw nothing but the community wall; if that were the case, the arrow must have been shot from a much farther distance. To shoot from afar would require being above the height of the wall, which meant a high place. However, even the nearest elevated area was several hundred meters away from the community... 0

This meant that whoever shot that arrow had to shoot over several hundred meters, and yet the speed of the arrow was still so fast that it nearly killed Wang Chao. This demonstrated just how powerful that person was. 0

"Can you estimate their location and distance?" Wang Chao asked Tang Feng, who was deep in thought. 0

Tang Feng shook his head and looked further into the distance before replying, "I can only estimate a straight-line distance but can't pinpoint exactly where they are. That person's strength is enough to shoot over a kilometer; that's a vast range. I just don't know if they are friend or foe. However, given the circumstances, they likely aimed to kill Little Wolf during your battle and probably aren't bad people... after all, they don't know your relationship with Little Wolf." 0

Wang Chao looked at Tang Feng with confusion. The usually taciturn Tang Feng had suddenly spoken so much in front of him—something Wang Chao never would have imagined before. Seeing Wang Chao looking at him made Tang Feng's face turn red; he cleared his throat awkwardly and adjusted Tang Dao behind him before saying, "That's how it is." 0

With that, he stepped aside and fell silent. 0

Wang Chao shook his head, thinking to himself that this was the real Tang Feng. "Let me see that arrow!" Wang Chao said. Tang Feng nodded and handed the arrow over to Wang Chao. As Wang Chao took the arrow and examined it closely, he quickly noticed its unique features. First, the arrow had a long, deep blood groove, resembling a slender triangular scraping knife. Secondly, the fletching at the back of the arrow was not made of ordinary feathers or metal plates, but rather a streamlined alloy, engraved with intricate patterns to aid in the arrow's stable flight. 0

Even the shaft of the arrow was not made of regular iron. When Wang Chao touched it, he realized that it was clearly made from bone; however, he couldn't tell what kind of bone it was. 0

Wang Chao glanced into the distance, then stood up and said, "I don't think it's that simple. You've seen this arrow too. This deep blood groove and the bone shaft mean that once it hits its target, even if it doesn't kill immediately, it will cause wounds that are difficult to heal, leading to significant blood loss. In such cases, even if one survives initially, they would bleed to death eventually. Whoever uses such arrows may not be an utterly wicked person but is certainly extremely cruel or cold-blooded..." 0

Tang Feng had already noticed something was off about the arrow, but after hearing Wang Chao's words, he realized there was much more significance behind it. 0

"We don't know whether they are friend or foe; it's better to be cautious," Wang Chao continued. "But we haven't found Da Qiang and Ouyang En yet. We will need some time in Yucheng, and we will inevitably have to deal with this person in the future. To avoid unnecessary conflict, I think we should find out more about this individual—whether they are alone or part of a team." 0

Suddenly, a person flashed through Wang Chao's mind—the team he had encountered back in the small town when he was still a weak rookie searching for Liu Xiaoxiao. He remembered meeting a crossbowman named Zhuang Peng who had robbed him of his food and drinking water... 0

But back then, Zhuang Peng had used a crossbow instead of a bow and arrow; whether it was the same person could only be confirmed upon meeting face-to-face. 0

"Now is not the time for this; let's move..." Wang Chao said as he looked at the zombies closing in around them. 0

"Right," Tang Feng replied. 0

The two quickly dashed toward their agreed-upon location. As they returned to the building, they heard Shen Zhitao's voice coming from inside: "That group of people—we don't know if they are friend or foe. Let's discuss it once Wang Chao returns." Just as Shen Zhitao finished speaking, Wang Chao and Tang Feng pushed open the door and walked in. Upon seeing Tang Feng, Shen Sisters and Xiao Wei were naturally surprised and pleased. 0

After exchanging pleasantries, they began discussing serious matters. 0

Shen Zhitao spoke up: "On our way here to meet you, we encountered a group of people." 0

"Is there a man with a bow and arrow among them?" Wang Chao asked urgently. 0

"How do you know someone like that exists?" Shen Zhitao replied. "Have you encountered them?" 0

Wang Chao nodded, then shook his head, finally saying, "I did see someone, but I can't really say it was an encounter. He might have shot at us from a long distance. No, I'm not even sure if it counts as an attack." Wang Chao scratched his head, unsure if he was making sense. "Anyway, to clarify things, we should try to make contact with those people..." 0

"By the way, Little Wolf," Wang Chao called out towards the door, "bring that arrow inside..." 0
