Returning to the safe house, unlike the life-and-death experiences of Wang Chao and the others, the people inside were having a great time with Little Wolf, laughter occasionally ringing out. This made Wang Chao's heart ache; they had no sense of danger at all. If those mutated monsters were to be attracted here, everyone would be caught off guard. It seemed that these people were still too naive.

These three groups went to different locations to search for the remaining members of the Bioterrorism Security Department. As soon as Wang Chao finished speaking, everyone saw a massive monster emerge from behind the building. It stood over ten meters tall and resembled an exaggerated human form but with only four limbs and no head on its neck. Instead, its belly was covered with numerous heads—each head sporting two eyes and a mouth but lacking noses and ears.
Upon closer inspection, there were at least dozens of human heads.
"What the hell is that?!" Wang Chao exclaimed instinctively.
The monster spotted the three of them and let out a cacophony of roars from its many heads. Dozens of mouths opened and closed rhythmically, like people blinking their eyes, making the three feel nauseous. If that monster caught them, even a single bite could tear them apart!
Then Wang Chao saw the monster start to run; each step made the ground tremble beneath them.
"Run!" Wang Chao barely managed to shout before the monster charged toward them. It was no surprise; at over ten meters tall, that short distance of a few hundred meters was just a few strides for it! Wang Chao quickly lifted Wu Wan'er and hurled her toward the sloped entrance of the underground parking lot. She rolled down and disappeared from view.
At that moment, Little Wolf seemed ready to confront the monster head-on. Wang Chao kicked Little Wolf's rear end urgently. Little Wolf glanced back at Wang Chao and then at Yiyi on his back before turning without hesitation and running away, while Yiyi clung tightly to Little Wolf's neck.
"Even if we have to run, we must hold on for a few more minutes. Otherwise, Yiyi and Wu Wan'er will be in danger, especially Yiyi. Little Wolf may be fast, but that monster has such long strides; we need to last at least three minutes!" As Wang Chao quickly calculated in his mind, the monster had already reached out to grab him.
Looking at the monster's arm, which was as large as an adult's body, Wang Chao dared not confront it directly. However, he also couldn't climb up its arm to attack its head; after all, it had too many heads. If its tongues could lash out like whips, he would surely be turned into a pincushion.
Wang Chao rolled on the ground to evade the monster's hand and swiftly drew his Desert Eagle. At this close range, even a blind person could hit their target. So, let's see how effective this gun can be!
