Dozens of cages had been opened, and not a single chicken was inside. Wang Chao realized that things were not looking good. In the African Savanna, countless ant armies could make even the largest animals flee, and there was nothing they could do about it. Now, if the empty cages were to fill with chickens, Wang Chao and Shen Zhitao would be utterly defenseless. 0

Sure enough, as Wang Chao contemplated this, a sudden commotion erupted in the distance. Dust rose into the air as if a vehicle were speeding across the sandy terrain. However, both of them knew that there could be no cars or any other animals here. The only thing that could cause such a disturbance in this place was chickens—lots of them! 0

Without hesitation, Shen Zhitao ran over to Wang Chao. At that moment, Wang Chao spotted a large flock of wild chickens appearing behind Shen Zhitao, led by an impressive Rooster. Wang Chao's heart skipped a beat; what a beautiful Rooster! Its feathers were a brilliant red, and its neck was adorned with golden plumage that shimmered like dazzling satin or fiery dawn. The comb on its head stood tall, and its eyes sparkled with vitality—what an imposing sight! 0

Behind this magnificent Rooster was an army of Zombie Chickens, each with sharp claws stained with blood, evidence of having torn apart numerous animals or even humans. As Wang Chao gazed at the countless Zombie Chickens leaping and briefly flying around him, he realized he had previously underestimated these creatures as mere weaklings for farming Crystal. Now, however, he dared not let his guard down. 0

As Shen Zhitao reached him, Wang Chao turned and ran. Their speed was impressive, but the Zombie Chickens matched them stride for stride. 0

"Stick close to me!" Wang Chao shouted. "Don't scatter!" 0

"Got it!" Shen Zhitao replied. 0

When they had entered through the main gate earlier, they had navigated through twists and turns to reach the depths of the Chicken Farm. Now, Wang Chao needed to retrace their steps. Upon reaching the first fork in the path, he intended to turn left but suddenly noticed another group of Zombie Chickens charging toward him from that direction. With no choice left, Wang Chao quickly turned right instead; it seemed they would have to take a detour before returning. Fortunately, since the layout was grid-like with multiple paths, they didn't have to worry too much about direction. 0

However, several times when Wang Chao attempted to turn left again, waves of Zombie Chickens surged toward that direction. At this point, both he and Shen Zhitao began to realize what was happening. Wang Chao voiced his suspicion: "These Zombie Chickens seem intelligent! They’re only blocking our left side; we can only go forward or right. If we reach a dead end, we'll be trapped in a corner!" 0

Shen Zhitao nodded in agreement. With a glance from Wang Chao signaling him to follow closely and avoid falling into the trap set by the Zombie Chickens, they quickly turned around and ran back. But just a few steps later, they noticed more Zombie Chickens behind them; it appeared they had split into several groups along the way to encircle them! With no other option left, they continued running forward until they faced a high wall—there was nowhere left to escape! 0

Looking back, they saw groups of Zombie Chickens at every intersection. The leading Rooster began to cluck loudly as if it were a seasoned general commanding its troops. "Damn it! After years of eating chicken, who would have thought I'd end up being hunted by them today?" Wang Chao cursed under his breath before speaking up again. Suddenly, with a sharp call from the Rooster, countless Zombie Chickens flapped their wings and charged forward. 0

Wang Chao transformed one hand into a Bone Knife and swung it swiftly; those Zombie Chickens at the forefront were sliced in half with one blow. With another thought, he gathered all the exposed Crystals into his Spatial Ring—these were valuable items that couldn't be wasted! He swung his knife repeatedly; countless Zombie Chickens fell apart under his strikes. Yet these creatures flowed like an unstoppable river toward them in overwhelming numbers—there was no way for the two of them to cope with such an onslaught. 0

"Up!" Wang Chao shouted, and a dagger appeared in his hand from the Spatial Ring. Without even looking, he thrust it backward into the wall about seven or eight meters away. With his other hand transformed into a shield, Shen Zhitao jumped onto it. With a powerful push from Wang Chao, Shen Zhitao soared into the air, reaching a height of seven or eight meters, and grabbed hold of Wang Chao's dagger, managing to hang there. 0

Immediately afterward, Wang Chao waved his hand again and quickly turned around, stepping onto the wall and walking several steps! Having abandoned his attack, dozens of Zombie Chickens lunged at Wang Chao from behind. Just as their sharp beaks and claws were about to pierce his back, a gunshot rang out. Shen Zhitao held the dagger in one hand while drawing her pistol with the other. A burst of bullets took down seven Zombie Chickens that fell to the ground! 0

However, several Zombie Chickens still clung to Wang Chao's back, as if the hardest daggers had pierced him. Despite Wang Chao's evolved tough skin being easily cut by these Zombie Chickens, he had no time for extra movements. His hands transformed into blades as he continuously stabbed into and pulled out from the wall, allowing him to ascend several more meters! 0

At that moment, more Zombie Chickens slammed against the wall. If Wang Chao had been even a moment slower, he would have been pierced by countless Zombie Chickens! Meanwhile, Shen Zhitao reloaded another magazine and fired several shots; all the Zombie Chickens on Wang Chao's back were killed. However, their bodies did not fall off but remained stuck there. 0

Following the same method, Wang Chao reached Shen Zhitao's side. Only then did she reach out to push the Zombie Chickens off Wang Chao's back. Each time she removed one, he winced in pain; Shen Zhitao noticed that the wounds were several centimeters deep. At that moment, she finally understood why each individual was at Brass level and realized how long they could hang on this wall with so many Zombie Chickens gathered. 0

Wang Chao looked down; these Zombie Chickens showed no signs of leaving and continued to fly upward one by one. However, their small wings struggled to support their flight. Thus, at a height of seven or eight meters, they could not reach him and could only be heard making "flapping" sounds as they crashed against the wall along with the constant "clucking" of a Rooster. 0

"I was careless, really careless!" Wang Chao wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "Once I get out of here, I'll definitely turn these Zombie Chickens into a KFC deluxe lunch..." 0

Shen Zhitao shot him an exasperated glance and replied, "Stop joking around; we should think about how to get out!" 0
