These people had not eaten for a long time, and it was easy to see how the elderly, women, and children could possibly submit five Brass Crystals in a day. From what had just happened, they had been chased by a dozen Zombie Dogs in a panic. If it weren't for Liu Jie and the others holding the rear, these people might not have even survived until Wang Chao and his group arrived; they would have been completely wiped out. Wang Chao nodded and asked, "So how many troops does Commander Yu actually have, and how many are loyal to him?"
This time it wasn't Liu Jie who spoke first; instead, another soldier stood up and said, "Report, sir. Our squad consists of two hundred people, of which more than half are dissatisfied with Commander Yu's actions. Wang Chao nodded.
"The third point is that whenever Commander Yu goes out, he is surrounded by over twenty armed guards," Liu Jie continued. "With these three factors combined, attempting to assassinate him is nearly impossible unless we have a high-precision sniper rifle capable of taking him out with one shot; otherwise, infiltration is truly challenging." Hearing this made Wang Chao sigh; Liu Jie was right—under such circumstances, trying to sneak in and assassinate Commander Yu was indeed difficult.
