In the blink of an eye, the dragon arrived beside the two men. It bore no weapons; every part of its body seemed to be a weapon in itself. It struck with fists, palms, and claws, while Wang Chao wielded a knife and Zhang Fusheng brandished a dagger. Yet, Wang Chao's Panlong Blade and Zhang Fusheng's dagger could not inflict even the slightest harm on the dragon. 0

The dragon had reached a state of invulnerability. After several exchanges, Zhang Fusheng's dagger had already twisted and deformed. Seeing this, he discarded the dagger and engaged with his bare hands. Only Wang Chao's Panlong Blade glimmered under the sunlight, but it too struggled to pierce the dragon's skin. At this thought, Wang Chao suddenly had an idea. 0

The dragon's arm blocked Wang Chao's Panlong Blade once more, but Wang Chao loosened his grip, sending the Panlong Blade flying towards the high platform. Huangfu Yan, witnessing this, retreated in fright. The Panlong Blade did not strike Huangfu Yan; instead, it fell right in front of him, embedding itself into the platform and causing the hilt to shake violently. 0

Wang Chao paid no mind to the fate of his Panlong Blade as the three were now engaged in close combat. Each punch and kick was fierce, causing cracks to form in the concrete floor beneath them. Pieces of debris flew everywhere, striking bystanders and leaving wounds that made them scatter further away. 0

A space of at least a hundred meters was cleared for their battle. Wang Chao was at a disadvantage; even with his Breathing Technique activated, he was no match for the dragon. He had already taken numerous hits from punches and kicks. The power behind each blow felt like being hit by a train. 0

As another punch came his way, Wang Chao instinctively dashed backward at high speed towards Huangfu Yan’s platform. Huangfu Yan did not flinch but instead smiled at him. Suddenly, Wang Chao felt someone grab his back, and then a fist came crashing down—not aimed at him but at his path ahead! 0

Wang Chao had no choice but to evade. The dragon’s strength exceeded his expectations; even with Zhang Fusheng entangled with it, the dragon could still pursue him swiftly. No wonder Huangfu Yan remained so calm. When Zhang Lao was alive, this dragon was no match for him; but now that Zhang Lao was dead and Elder Wu was missing, who else could contend with this dragon? 0

If given a few more years, perhaps Zhang Fusheng or Wang Chao could defeat the dragon. But right now, this dragon was invincible. Both Wang Chao and Zhang Fusheng had activated their Breathing Techniques; at their current levels of power, Wang Chao might last a few hours against it while Zhang Fusheng could likely hold out for a similar duration. If they wanted to defeat the dragon, they needed to resolve this battle within those few hours. 0

Otherwise, after a few hours passed, it would be nearly impossible for them to kill this dragon! 0

With that thought in mind, Wang Chao gritted his teeth and charged forward recklessly. Bone Knives appeared sporadically as he abandoned defense and focused all his energy on offense. The pressure on the dragon intensified as it realized that Wang Chao was coming at it with reckless abandon. A cold smile crept across the dragon's lips as it stepped forward to meet Wang Chao's Bone Knives head-on. 0

Wang Chao’s Bone Knife pierced into the dragon’s shoulder just as the dragon’s fist came crashing down onto Wang Chao’s shoulder. With a sickening crack, Wang Chao’s left shoulder broke, exposing bone; however, countless Bone Knives erupted from his body and stabbed into the dragon’s back. In an instant, both Wang Chao and the dragon fell heavily to the ground. 0

Wang Chao spat out blood upon hitting the ground hard. The dragon attempted to rise but was immediately pierced by Wang Chao’s spines again; its shoulder wound deepened further. Seeing this, Zhang Fusheng wasted no time hesitating and charged forward to deliver a punch to the dragon's head. The dragon found itself ensnared by Wang Chao's Bone Knives and struggled to break free with one hand aimed at shattering them. 0

With a sharp crack, the bone spikes created by Wang Chao shattered. The dragon instinctively tried to evade, but Wang Chao's other hand transformed into another bone spike. Gritting his teeth against the pain in his shoulder, Wang Chao summoned strength from his waist, using his entire body to swing his arm, driving the bone spike deep into another part of the dragon's shoulder. In an instant, Wang Chao transformed again, causing barbs to regenerate on the bone spike. 0

The dragon had already half-risen to avoid Zhang Fusheng's punch, but with Wang Chao's desperate pull, it was yanked back into position. At that moment, Zhang Fusheng unleashed all his strength in a punch that landed squarely on the dragon's head, sending it flying. However, Wang Chao lacked the strength to retract the bone spike. 0

The dragon soared far away, and Wang Chao's bone spike broke again, causing him to grit his teeth in pain. Fortunately, his other shoulder was relatively unharmed; only the bones in his arm were shattered. As he struggled to sit up with his arm propped up, Zhang Fusheng rushed to support him. "Don't worry about me," Wang Chao said. "Dragons aren't that easy to kill. Go check and finish it!" 0

Hearing this, Zhang Fusheng no longer paid attention to Wang Chao and dashed toward where the dragon lay, raising his fist for another heavy blow to its head. It was only at this moment that those around them began to understand what had transpired: Wang Chao had exchanged his life for a chance at victory. If the dragon had chosen to attack instead of fleeing, Wang Chao would have already become a fresh corpse. 0

Everyone watched in horror as they saw Wang Chao covered in blood with broken bones—a gruesome sight. The dragon was also bloodied; its fate remained uncertain. Just as Zhang Fusheng prepared for a third punch, Huangfu Yan reacted and shouted loudly, "Zhang Fusheng, stop! Look who this is!" 0

All eyes turned to Huangfu Yan. When they looked up, they saw several soldiers flanking a woman beside him, a gun pressed against her temple. Both Wang Chao and Zhang Fusheng were stunned; the woman was none other than Jian Xiaoqing, Zhang Fusheng's girlfriend. 0

But how did Huangfu Yan know such details? How could he possibly know that Jian Xiaoqing was Zhang Fusheng's girlfriend? This information must have come from a spy in the capital. But who was that spy? Why had they not shown themselves yet? In that moment, half-lying on the ground, Wang Chao's thoughts churned like a turbulent sea. 0

Zhang Fusheng halted his hand. 0
